- We found the greatest driving road in the world! The Transfagarasen Highway here in Transylvania is absolutely insane! Before leaving the city of Brasov, we hike to the top of Mount Tampa to see the city sign perched above the city on the mountain's peak. Brasov is most definitely a hidden gem here in Romania. We make our way to the town of Bran where an ominous castle sits on top of a cliffside overlooking the city. Yes, this is known to be the home to Dracula! We also take the most epic drive of our lives up the Transfăgărășan Highway, literally one of the best roads in the entire world!

yeah but keep in mind that the ''history'' of Vlad the Impaler said by him is wrong. He was born in Sighisoara, Transylvania but he was the prince of Wallachia (today's southern Romania) and he was cruel to corrupt boyars and nobles and to the Ottoman threat.

I think I like Romania the most of all of your stops. All of the other countries were beautiful also but there is so much to see and do. You remember so many things about every where you have been. It is wonderful that you have found your churches all over.

The drone view of that road was insane. It looked like a maze with tight curves. I did think it would be a great motorcycle ride too.
Count Dracula 🧛♂️ was interesting but after the last castle his looked like an average castle lol.

Glad I’m not the only one who thinks this country is the most breathtaking country! Oh the nostalgia! I went on 3 years of mission trips there and just love the people and the country. I agree with Michelle, the Peles Castle was much nicer and not as crowded. I grew up in Lafayette Colorado, one of the cool things is in our cemetery there’s a grave known as the Vampire Grave. It is the grave of Theodore “Fedora” Glava who was born in Transylvania Romania.
Don't forget to visit the cities Sibiu, Sighisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Oradea and then Transalpina road which is at a higher attitude than Transfagarasan road.
People don't realize that the world is a beautiful place thank you for taking me with you to Tanzania Castle was fantastic you take me with you places I've never been able to go. You talk about bears we live in an animal reserve in the northern California High Sierra mountains and we have a mother and two Cubs and the Cubs are not even a month old that come in our yard everyday

We went on vacation to Turkey. And the singing in the church went off in the middle of the night. Every night. And it was so loud we woke up almost every night..

Impossible to pick a favorite part.....the entire day was amazing! I loved seeing the castle, and was surprised Count Dracula may never have been there. The scenery is so pretty, and I love the city streets and little alley ways to get to another street. Had a chuckle cause this is one of a very few times you never filmed eating something!!

I have a family emergency so I have been away for about 9 day. (and missing the vlog) The fun part is I get to BINGE watch the last several episodes 👏 That road reminds me of Needles Hwy in Custer Park with it’s 314 turns, only on a bigger scale😊 Be safe…. I have to get back to my bingeing 💕

Seeing you go to Dracula's Castle, amazed me. I have watched so many programs about it, that every time I see it interests me even more. I envy you guys for being there. The story of Vlad the Impailor (Dracula) is a sad story. He loses his loved one and goes insane. So in order to get revenge, he impails people in the city. It's supposed to be a romantic story but ends up being a horror story. Love what you guys are doing. The more places you go, the more interesting I get to see where you go next. Love it
He actually mostly impaled those that invaded his lands and plundered his people such as the Ottomans. His loved ones were indeed killed, but he wasn't crazy or that bad, he is considered one of Romania's greatest fighters for independence. I am a Romanian 🙂

What a wild looking road, with lots of turns and curves. I leave the drive on it to someone else. My fear of heights was not helped.

the road was cool, however, driving it, would fry my nerves. The Tram ride would be my choice for going up to the Brasov sign, I might hike down though.
