Led Zeppelin is a band of four of the greatest musicians. Their music is iconic. Every song is awesome and live they are next level. They ruled the 70s and their album sales reached the stratosphere. Forget the rest Led Zeppelin ruled and they still do.
Warning! The best way to first discover Led Zeppelin is by chronological release, album by album, track by track, song by song. Zeppelin is simply the greatest rock band that ever was, is, or will be. But go back to the 1st track on Led Zeppelin I, GOOD TIMES, BAD TIMES. And just go forward from there. Best rollercoaster ride of your life!
Now that you've discovered Led Zeppelin, the best way to truly experience them is to start with album 1 and do each track then go to the next album, and so forth. Every song is a journey. I guarantee you'll be blown away.

I looove your reaction on "Whole Lotta Love"💓 Lotta babys back in 1970s are born because of this song!😏 Or so i've been told...I strongly recommend you to react on "Stairway to Heaven"! For me, that is nomber 1 song in the category "hard rock ballads of all time"! You decide: official version or live. Personally, i recommend live. Also, when you listen LZ, you MUST check out the lyrics! For me, Led Zeppelin's music is all about storytelling! Anyway... WELCOME TO THE LED ZEPPELIN'S "RABBIT HOLE! GET INTO IT, AND ENJOY!🔥🔥🔥🎸🥁
Nice to see you discovering the music of the boomers grew-up with in the 60's and 70's, great music and plenty of it. Bands like Led Zeppelin, The Who, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, on and on.
You've done it now. No kidding, a whole new world. Agree with suggestion below to do Zep's "Kashmir," but not the Celebration Day version (they were much, much older the). Instead, do Kashmire live from Knebsworth.
I just scrolled down through several dozen comments, and no one has suggested the most obvious choice for your next listen. Why not move on to the #1 rock song of the 20th century, by Led Zep -- *Stairway to Heaven.* 🎤🎸🎹
only problem is that it is TOTALLY different from this song that they both just LOVED. I always think it's best to approach Stairway by either doing the Zeppathon and building up to it that way to see the growth and change in their music...or to at least do Zep IV track by track to hear it in context. By itself, Stairway puzzles allot of younger reactors who haven't heard enough Zeppelin to get a feel for what the band is all about....their diversity, their dedication to dynamics, light and shade etc. That only comes from hearing enough of their songs to have a foundation in their vibe before hearing that masterpiece of rock. Personally, I prefer Kashmir and Levee Breaks, and In My Time of Dying....but I certainly realize the mastery of Stairway and what it has meant to rock history. Anyway, just my opinion: Why take them to the peak so soon? Let them start on the "bunny slope" and work up to the "expert slopes"....if you get my skiing analogy.

@@yogaphile7833 no it isn’t. And you might be absolutely spot on. They are distractible. My fear is that they seem to be loving the harder stuff ( Sabbath.Metallica) and nothing wrong with that. Sometimes they act so……like adolescents…and then they’ll say something that shows me there’s a pretty good brain in there. I have seen so many reactions to this song since 2017.and it is crazy to see them when they are new ..I was very young when I heard this out of my 11 year older brothers room,, he had the LZ 2 album when Zep had just released it and I just knew that this was different from anything else I heard .,,The bass and the high hat cymbal were so real coming out of the speakers . There was music always playing in the house of many different people and I had a great education with great music growing up and still this gets the attention fast by any one that first listens to it.... LZ1 album is a good place to start with this band
I got to see this band when I was 17. A carload of us skipped school and made the three hour ride down to St. Louis, Missouri. 1977, what a great time to be alive. I got to see a lot of the greatest bands from the 60s and 70s that were still young and touring hard. They didn’t need to get on the stage and lip sync, they didn’t need laser light shows to smooth over their lack of talent. Any Led Zeppelin suggestion you get here in the comments will be worth checking out.
Welcome to the world of Led Zeppelin.... gotta ck out "Kashmir"... it was the number 1 requested song on the Planet Earth for over 10 years! And of course "Stairway to Heaven"... Big, big hit. Since I've Been Lovin You" is another good one. But they did soooo many good ones. You'll enjoy the trip though. They weren't called "The God's of Rock & Roll" for nothin you know.
And I guess, before you were born?🤭 Awesome band of the seventies and beyond. A little trivia for you. Some of the bits and pieces of video used were taken in Sydney, where I have lived since 1965 after immigrating as a young 22yr old from London. (yeah, I'm heading towards 82yrs) still blows me away though. Good luck with your future reactions and delve deep into Led Zepplin. You will be amazed.
Immigrant Song and Ramble On are both hard-rocking bangers, or, if you want to hear some of the other sounds of Led Zeppelin, which was a band with many different sounds, try Hey, Hey, What Can I Do for some rock blues, or Stairway to Heaven for one of the greatest rock ballads of all time (probably on every classic rock fan's list of the five greatest rock and roll songs ever).
I was still in jr high school, heard this on the car radio growing up in SoCal. Another instance where you instantly recall exactly where you were going and what you were doing, every time you hear this tune and it never gets old. Be sure to listen to the uncut version of WLoL, that experimental sound has some to do with an instrument invented around the 40s or so, called a Theramin. Jimmy puts it to good use, but you missed the complete version. Enjoy the Led Zep ride, I guarantee further astonishment awaits!
Thanks for the reaction! This is just the tip of the Led Zeppelin iceberg. So much to discover - so many genres - from the greatest band ever! Hope you'll do more. You probably should start early and progress their catalog to see them gradually get better and better every year. YOUR TIME IS GONNA COME/I CAN"T QUIT YOU BABY/ BABE IM GONNA LEAVE YOU/..........then progress to LZ 2, 3 and 4,. In my opinion, their best song on camera (there were no such things as music videos then) is SINCE I'VE BEEN LOVING YOU live in Madison Square garden. They are all on fire through the whole song. Their talent and record sales despite avoiding interviews and television shows (their rise was totally word of mouth) and if you wanted to see them, you had to go to a concert. Their mystic was part of their success. I was lucky enough to see Plant and Page in concert in 1997. Nearly 3 hours of hit after hit. By far the best show I have seen. (I saw over 30 bands at woodstock 94 plus, Neil Young, Jackson Browne, John Mellencamp, John Fogerty (ccr) BECK, Cheap Trick, and tons of country artists when I was a kid).
excellent reaction, ty! please try Ramble On. What is & What Should Never Be. all of 4 . all of Physical Graffiti (released 1975-my Senior year of high school)
That was a correct response. Can’t believe I heard it first 40 years ago at summer camp. Those counselors were a wild bunch. That’s probably the thousandth time. Still rips. You should do the full zeppelin albums in order of release. You MIGHT be able to handle it! Also, Pink Floyd in the same way. Yep.
This is a great song, but if you think this is Led Zeppelin's 10.0, you should check out the 1973 Madison Square Garden live recording of their song "Since I've Been Loving You." It's on their official UA-cam channel and is unbelievable.
@@SurvivorBri we cannot explain an entire period of time to you...the entire vibe of a generation of young people. It would take much more than a comment on UA-cam. And if we tried to explain the cultural and historical shifts going on, it would bore you and you couldn't relate to it. You can google all about it, if you're really interested in what was happening.....culture and mores were changing lightening fast....and so was the music. Both music and youth culture felt liberated. That's enough for here.
Led is very album favored. 99% of their stuff cant be done properly live. Some live led i dont even know what song they’re playing and you dont get what jimmy intended for the album
More Led Zeppelin songs: Stairway to Heaven, Dazed and Confused, Since I’ve Been Loving You are good songs to go next. I’d recommend live when possible.
Hi, I'm 37 and DJ most weekends and you would be amazed at how many people around your age request, Zeppelin, Queen, Journey , and some others all the time. I like today's music but talent wise they can't even come close to especially the 80's artists. I'm only one person but I'll subscribe, maybe it will help you guys out...all the best!
wow...that is GREAT to hear that young people are requesting these classic bands! That's just WAY cool! I'd say "especially the 70's artists" but that's just because that was more my time (and the 60's). But hell, I'd settle for the 80's....allot of GREAT music came out of that decade.
@@helenespaulding7562 Oh for sure the 70's too, I don't mean to overlook them. Just this past Saturday I played some of the 80's superstars and a group of younger people in their early 20's came up to me and said they wish there was music today like this. One young woman said she would love to dance but at clubs today people just stand there. You would really be amazed at what they tell me!
Hi a most Beautiful way to start off the New Year! Happy YOU seemed to really get into them YAY they are my lifelong mad luvz check out sometime "What Is And What Should Never Be" "The Song Remains The Same/The Rain song" "Black Dog" "In My Time Of Dying" The Ocean" "Carouselambra" "Fool In The Rain" "Traveling Riverside Blues" "That's The Way" "Over The Hills And Far Away" "Tangerine" "Going To California" & course "Stairway To Heaven" just to name a few every song they did sounds completely different from the other they are One Of A Kind
Dazed and Confused live will be the second changing of your life. Or better yet. Start with album 1. Go song by song through their collection and learn what " old fart" music was all about.
Great reaction! Just discovered you guys! Please keep up with more Led Zeppelin, and like you did with this one, stick with their studio tracks. So much better the live tracks (which are good, but nowhere near in the same universe as their studio masterpieces)! I recommend checking out the studio tracks of the Led Zeppelin songs "Stairway to Heaven" and "Since I've Been Loving You". I know you guys will love them, And again, no what you hear from the comment section, stick with the studio tracks (at least for first listen). You'll appreciate their songs SOOO much more then you will with the live tracks. And I just gotta say, you kind of remind me of Sabrina Carpenter, which is super cool! I Subscribed! Peace
The guitarist used a Theremin> a pitch & sound box controlled by waving your hand past the antenna attachment Immigrant Song , you should definitely know this one from a few movies you might've watched 👍
Their music can be very diverse. To prove that csn I suggest you listen to 'Since I've been loving you', 'Going to California' abd Stairway to Heaven' just got starters.....
I would say start at the beginning of the catalog of the GOAT LZ!! Or... you can do some live 1973 MSG songs which are live. There is no bad song in the whole catalog!! More LZ!!!!
JUDAS PRIEST. One of the fathers of heavy metal. To start, I would suggest " Screaming for Vengeance" circa 1982. They were an established metal band...but oh my god....they changed it for ever. You can still hear the fast pace, the change up to faster and POWER!
I saw a comment about "The Warning" I totally agree.. THE WARNING Band Live is Absolutely brilliant. All 3 sisters Sing write compose and play everything on their recordings. Try Disciple Live at The Pepsi Center CDMX or Dust to Dust/Dull Knives (cut better) Live at The Pepsi Center CDMX. They have a massive Fan Base. We will show up big time. 💥🤯💥
Any song by them is great. But you can start with Since I've been loving you, When the Levee Breaks, Immigrant Song or the Lemon Song. Or, as other suggest, do them chronologically, you won't be disappointed.
Ok here's the deal... If you go down the Led Zepplin rabbit hole what you thought you knew about music will change, but will be worth it. Start will the studio tracks first before going to the live version. Good luck!
yeah they do. several. So does Pink Floyd. All bands do. They're human after all. and being human, they are not perfect. They're still my two favorite bands of my long life, and their music is about the best our generation has to offer.
@@lyndoncmp5751 some say The Crunge, but I like it….and that was them just joking around too. But the comment was “mediocre”, not “bad”. I find “Thank You” mediocre. Very simple melody and construction; saccharine lyrics. I’m appreciative of the fact that Plant was thanking his wife, Maureen, and that warms the heart. But it was one of his earliest attempts as a lyricist, and it shows. I don’t think Hot Dog is anything to write home about. Or Candy Store Rock Robert has often said that their albums were just snapshots of where the band was at any given moment in time and are “merely” a collection of songs, some better than others. I take him exactly at his word and don’t approach their albums as holy writ. They’re a collection of songs, some better than others. I’m trying to be objective, but personal taste does sneak in Igor instance, I dislike Communication Breakdown, but I know most Zep fans love it. It’s not a mediocre song, objectively, I just don’t like it; too frenetic.
@@helenespaulding7562 Thank You is wonderful. Loved by many. Hot Dog is a lot of fun and unlike anything else they ever did. The Crunge has got a fantastic drum beat, used by De La Soul, who made a song out of it. Communication Breakdown is genre defining. None of those songs are mediocre.
@@lyndoncmp5751 IN YOUR OPINION. We are all expressing opinions here. I admitted that my personal taste affects my ability to be objective. I expressed that several times. It would be lovely if you could return the favor and do the same. You do realize that some of the members of Zeppelin didn't like all their songs? Robert hates Living, Loving Maid. Jimmy didn't care for All of My Love being on their album, but could hardly turn it down, considering the reason behind it's having been written. Each member had songs they didn't particularly like, so I do not understand this pressure to love EVERY song in a band's catalogue just because it's your favorite band, as Zeppelin is for me. And I specifically said that Communication Breakdown was NOT mediocre. And I said I liked The Crunge. Did you really read what I said,,,,or just skim? And do you admit to Zeppelin having ANY mediocre songs? Very curious about that.

To really appreciate Led Zeppelin you need to check out videos of their live performances as they take the song to another level.
excellent reaction, ty! please try Ramble On. What is & What Should Never Be. all of 4 . all of Physical Graffiti (released 1975-my Senior year of high school)
Led Zep is the GOAT ! This is the group that Motley Crew and Metalica grew up on. Something completely different - Kashmir (studio version)
studio song called "Ten Years Gone" one of Led Zeppelin's best
Good Times, Bad Times. Album 1. Song 1.
Led Zep were without doubt one of the best British rock bands to conquer the world late 60s early 70s 🇬🇧
Yes!! That performance is incredible. I never get tired of hearing it and it's fun watching people react to it.
Try the live version of "Black Dog" from Madson Square Garden 1973
Us old farts were MUCH more FREE back in our day.
More free to do what?
Everything ✌️@@SurvivorBri
@SO.CAL-D.Edwards what do you mean by that? What's not free?
@@SurvivorBri we cannot explain an entire period of time to you...the entire vibe of a generation of young people. It would take much more than a comment on UA-cam. And if we tried to explain the cultural and historical shifts going on, it would bore you and you couldn't relate to it. You can google all about it, if you're really interested in what was happening.....culture and mores were changing lightening fast....and so was the music. Both music and youth culture felt liberated. That's enough for here.
@helenespaulding7562 very interesting. So what's not free anymore?
Zeppelin "Stairway to Heaven" Live at Madison Square Garden 1973, will change your life. 🤘😎🤘
Led is very album favored. 99% of their stuff cant be done properly live. Some live led i dont even know what song they’re playing and you dont get what jimmy intended for the album
Best darn band ever first time I saw them was 1969
1973 Madison Square Garden…(Since I’ve been loving You)!
"Since I’ve been loving You" at Madison Square Garden is Zeppelin at their best
Yeah guys take the Zeppelin journey from the first album just keep on going
To Truly experience late Zeppelin, you have to start at album 1 song 1.
More Led Zeppelin songs: Stairway to Heaven, Dazed and Confused, Since I’ve Been Loving You are good songs to go next. I’d recommend live when possible.
Absolutely correct
Rock On Kids !!! Happy New Year from Detroit Michigan
Stevie Ray Vaughan,Texas Flood 1983, live at the Elmo Combo at Toronto, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦
El Mocambo
Saw Zeppelin in Dallas in 1971. Almost got into a fight with Plant's bodyguard in a Dallas music club in 1977. Good times!
Rock n Roll & Heavy Metal ftw. Proper music.
"Since I've Been Loving You" is a great listen
Start at the beginning. I grew up with these masterpieces! They were ment to be listen to in succession. It’s an experience!! ZEP ONE!
Dazed and Confused live will be the second changing of your life. Or better yet. Start with album 1. Go song by song through their collection and learn what " old fart" music was all about.
Led Zeppelin . . . the GOAT . . .
Black Sabbath,Led Zeppelin,Deep Purple the holy triad of rock music🤘
Deep Purple was never even in it!
New sub , old man here. Y’all had the same reaction had first time I heard this in the 70’s !
#1 rock band of all time
Great reaction!
Peace
CCS did an instrumental version that was used as the Top Of The Pops theme for about 10 years.
The guitarist used a Theremin> a pitch & sound box controlled by waving your hand past the antenna attachment
Immigrant Song , you should definitely know this one from a few movies you might've watched 👍
We didn't realise how good we had back in the 70's. We do now.
🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸i WAS 17 WHEN I FIRST HEARD THIS SONG IN 1969, THEN I SAW THEM IN CONCERT '71 IN LA!🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Their music can be very diverse. To prove that csn I suggest you listen to 'Since I've been loving you', 'Going to California' abd Stairway to Heaven' just got starters.....
Or The Rain Song or Thank You.
Nice reaction. Best song about getting the bone ever written.
I would say start at the beginning of the catalog of the GOAT LZ!! Or... you can do some live 1973 MSG songs which are live. There is no bad song in the whole catalog!! More LZ!!!!
JUDAS PRIEST.
One of the fathers of heavy metal.
To start, I would suggest " Screaming for Vengeance"
circa 1982. They were an established metal band...but oh my god....they changed it for ever.
You can still hear the fast pace, the change up to faster and POWER!
Agree, it's a 10!
stairway to heaven the best by them
Any song by them is great. But you can start with Since I've been loving you, When the Levee Breaks, Immigrant Song or the Lemon Song. Or, as other suggest, do them chronologically, you won't be disappointed.
One of the best-looking reaction ladies 😊😊😊
Hi, guys - first time visitor. Enjoyed it, ty…
Glad you enjoyed it
for a lesson in drumming check out the live version of Moby Dick Bonham just kills it
Ok here's the deal... If you go down the Led Zepplin rabbit hole what you thought you knew about music will change, but will be worth it. Start will the studio tracks first before going to the live version. Good luck!
Led Zeppelin doesn't have a mediocre song.
yeah they do. several. So does Pink Floyd. All bands do. They're human after all. and being human, they are not perfect. They're still my two favorite bands of my long life, and their music is about the best our generation has to offer.
@@helenespaulding7562 Disagree. Can't think of one. Well ok, Hats Off to Harper, but that was done as a joke.
Or Candy Store Rock
Robert has often said that their albums were just snapshots of where the band was at any given moment in time and are “merely” a collection of songs, some better than others. I take him exactly at his word and don’t approach their albums as holy writ. They’re a collection of songs, some better than others. I’m trying to be objective, but personal taste does sneak in
Igor instance, I dislike Communication Breakdown, but I know most Zep fans love it.
THAT is ROCK 😊
The BEST band EVER the GOAT's
First-time viewer of y'all's channel.
Heavy metal only ?
Not for me, but good luck with your channel.
My memory flying back then in 1969 when I was in high school.
The old days when musicians played their instruments.
