Okay so then why doesn't it also support DJI drones using OC3 like M3P or Avata1? I thought they would have announced backwards support for DJI drones before O3 Air unit.

Just ordered a pair instantly after seeing this video. Been wanting to upgrade from analog for my FPV stuff and also have a mini 4 pro so until this update I was in a bit of a predicament of having support for one or the other. Now I can have both! I just need to find a way to quick swap an O3 air unit between all of my quads so I don’t have to buy multiple air units.
Fratello mio, that's really sugar for fpv comunity, I've been waiting for this because I'm bulding my 7,5'' quad for long range and the only thing I still don't have is the goggles. Not that I'm not waiting impatiently for the O4 but that's great news =) Thank you very much and ciao from Italy 😁
Two things I have notice. I ma having to rebind each time, I never had to with goggles 2, Avata, 03 or Vista, I just selected the unit and it worked. and the second thing even though my settings in my FC are all still the same on 2 of my 03 quads, using the Controller 3 its like they were on full power, the response is far more lively, I have the controller 2 and its more dubbed down, but the 3, the drone takes off very quickly and the throttle response is much more dramatic.
I'm afraid to update my Goggles 3. The pairing process with my integra and M3P was so difficult and then my M3P and RC controller never worked well after that update. Additionally, the binding process is ridiculous. I will give this update some time to make its way through the reviews before updating the goggles 3.
Do the new goggles 3 require any remote ID to fly? And are they compatible with the OG DJI FPV drone? I still fly that one with a gopro for long range cinematic flights.
This hurts. I just received my Goggles 2 and RC 2 in the mail the other day and bound them to my O3 last night. Now I gotta box them up, send them back, and wait for the new versions. lol
Sir please what to do to see BF OSD in googles? Root needed?

I tried making the update and the update went through, but it also screwed up the flight controller on my 03 quad when I arm the quad it flips to the left, so that's a canna worms
Great video thank you! Is it a pain in the a$$ if you have an Avata 2 for eg, that’s already paired to the goggles 3 and RC3, and you have an inflight drone 03 that you also want to use the RC3 and googles 3 with? Do you have to unpair/repair everytime please or is it seamless?

Hello there, I'm also an Evoque owner and I'm using DJI Goggles 3 with a DJI FPV RC3 controller. I was wondering which Betaflight firmware version you're using on your Evoque. Would you be willing to share your PID settings? Thank you in advance.
I'm using the stock pids, you can get a CLI Dump from iflight's website, that would be more beneficial for you actually
Is it also possible to use the fpv controller 2 with the avata 2 and goggles 3 now as well? Or do I still need the new controller 3?
Instead of buying Goggles 3, I think I'll just buy Avata 2. Barely more expensive than the Goggles 3 standalone, and you get an Avata.
What about the DJI remote 2 will it still work with the new googles and O3?

What about connecting time? Does it still stay painfully slow as with normal O3 to Goggles 2/Integra, or is it very fast as Mini 4 Pro/Avata 2?
My mini 2 se controller have the option to bind with the Avata 2. Does it work? And does it fly without the goggles?

I had the goggles and got rid of them. They were lagging at high speed which disturbed me.

the goggles 2/integra are the most compatible goggles out there, I think they should even work with o4 unless DJI intentionally stops that from happening

You’d think so as the M3’s are O3. Probably worth checking with DJI direct tho.

My question to DJI is this. Why do these much needed, extremely obvious updates take so darn long. It just makes zero sense to me. If I ran DJI, that would have been a top priority for me. I guess it just leads me to the conclusion that our hobby is very insignificant to DJI. Our hobby is very neglected by these companies.
Not purchasing DJI anything ,or any drones made in china.
