I used this song today for my English lesson, we went through the lyrics, discussed them and after that I revealed the meaning behind it and played the video. As the video is very emotional, so was watching my students watching it with unexpected concentraion. It was my last lesson with them after four years and I can´t imagine better way to say our goodbyes, although in this sad way.
This song is perfect. I had friends who had left Pulse before the attack. I had friends who died that night. There are others that are still fighting for their lives, there are those who died even with obtaining medical attention. There are many who still cannot sleep through the night without nightmares. There are many who are afraid to step out their doors because they are afraid of going to places that had once been considered safe havens. We all have a pulse, we all have our scars, we all suffer, we all bleed. It matters not if you are straight or have any of the labels in part of the LGBTQ+ community. We are humans. What reason is there to hate one another when we are ALL the same. Beneath our skin - it is the same - bone, muscle. Only the pigments of our skin make us different, our life choices are our own and we should be able to make them without fear of being bullied, beaten, murdered, or otherwise hunted and ostracized for them.
I am a married man. My wife and kids have felt the pain. It does not matter who you are, but it's a beating heart that stopped on that horrific night. We as a family feel that no matter you religion, race, color, age or sexual orientation we'll are human. WE ALL HAVE PULSE!!!
I just saw the tribute on MSNBC...We all should feel this in our bones, come together and take a stand. For peace, for unity, and for all. We are Pulse.
This tragedy shook me to the core. We lost 49 brothers and sisters and siblings that day. I didn't know them personally, but I miss them. Their lives meant something special. I love this song. I'm gay. I'm human. My life matters.
Agreed. I came out after all this because I don't want to be afraid anymore. These beautiful souls will remain with me forever. I felt so broken and I don't even know them. But as you said. I agree with it all.
I can't tell you just how beautiful this song is because its beyond words. My mom showed me this last night and it really touched me. Especially since I have a vary close friend who's like a younger brother to me who I have known for years and is not just bisexual but is also transgender and I met others through him who are also part of the LGBT community. It was through them over Facebook that I found out about this horrible tragedy since I don't watch the news all that often. And to know that 49 innocent lives were lost just because they were homosexual sickens me. My prayers go out to the victims and there families this never should have happened. #WeAreOrlando
This is a stunningly beautiful piece of music and I tear up a little every time I listen. I lifted the version shown on MSNBC last night (6/15/2016) with the montage of all the victims' faces and names. All I did was to add the lyrics to it and a short title graphic at the beginning and end, and posted it to my UA-cam channel. Hope you don't mind. I programmed top 40 radio stations in major markets for about 30 years, and I know a hit record when I hear one. If radio had any courage at all, they'd play the shit out of this. It's a #1 hit if ever I've heard one. I know that's not why you wrote it, but it's true nonetheless. Thank you for sharing your art with the world, especially following this horrific and unspeakable tragedy. #WeAreOrlando #FeelMyPulse
My pray goes out to the victims and their families in Orland from Japan. I'm sure those victims are now listening to this beautiful song and healing themselves in heaven.
Im a very comfortable straight man..yet i cant turn on the news without crying again..damn this world. Damn those that do this that claim they are human.and damn the feelings that are in the hearts that do these acts..its a feeling or something they own that is beyond hate..beyond anything my mind can comprehend. Yet thanks to them my heart bleeds tears...maybe the world should burn..i dunno..but i dont want to wake up to another day of more tears. Just one day.
Andre, I know exactly what you're saying. Breaking down 4 days straight. I want to feel normal again. I just can't get over what happened to our beautiful brothers and sisters.
I am the same and feel the same as you do Andre.... I struggle daily trying to digest how people who feel threatened by LOVE can be so Cruel, Rude, and Violent !! PRAY FOR PEACE
I have always looked at people not as race, sexual performance or anything else. I look at them as equal to me it is NOT ACCEPTABLE in any way to look down at them for the way God made them..People need to stop using other people for there insceareds. I look at there heart that is what matter's to me..#Pray for Peace
Thank you, for this song with this song I can still fell my nephew Pulse Christopher Joesph Sanifelez RIP 6/12/16 You are still Shinning Bright like a Diamond in the Sky. Thank you for wonderful memories ♡♡♡♡ love u always & Miss you dearly
Sadly, I have become largely desensitized to the violence, hate, and death in this world, as my generation has live through nothing but war and death, but this video has brought tears to my eyes, which is the only time in a long time that I have had that happen. Up until now I haven't rally been effected by the news of the Orlando shooting. As a gay man growing up in Alabama, I have witnessed my fair share of homophobia, but even with what I have seen and experienced, I still cannot comprehend the hate that people like Omar Mateen have towards us. This song really has a way of bringing out the emotion that, throughout my life, I have been largely taught to ignore. June 12, 2016 will forever be remembered as one of the many times the the American people have been faced with tragedy and got through it. My heart goes out to those who lost someone in this shooting. For anyone who is feeling scared and insecure in the wake of this tragedy please remember, there is a light at the end of this tunnel, you just have to push forward to make it there. #PrayforOrlando
One of the best songs I have heard. I just saw it on the last word. So beautiful and true. Such beautiful voices. This song is a gift.Thank -You . Jen from Port Huron Michigan.
It's been a year and this song makes me cry every time I listen to it. What happened at Pulse was a terrible hate crime and should never be forgotten. We need to remember the victims, but also do something. Treat others with kindness. Tell people you love then. Show compassion. Stand Strong. Our pulse will stay strong forever.
OMG this is amazing! So beautiful. This is real music. Music that has a meaningful message. Music that can change the world. Thank you for creating such an amazing song...
This song is beautiful and I broke down hearing it. I can't even fathom how someone could just pick up a gun and take someone's life, nonetheless 49 lives. It shouldn't matter who someone loves and I don't understand how.. Just how 😔 From Tennessee my heart and love goes out to all those affected in Orlando. #Weareorlando
Your words were moving enough, watching all the names and faces rolling across the screen was beyond moving. Awesome work guys. And Eli, your singing hit it perfectly.
Absolutely. Not just the best thing that anyone could possibly say in response to the Pulse tragedy, but brilliantly written and beautifully performed. Thank you, Eli and Brandon.
Absolutely has put the PULSE on this entire saddest of moments in American history. Eli and Brandon, thank you. I have been grieving the unexpected loss of my husband. I keep thinking of all those families who are grieving the unexpected loss of their loved one in the nightclub. We are all human.
Thank you So So much for this hauntingly beautiful song. As Travis just wrote, it wrecked me. Sobbing for our fallen family and for the people who resort to this kind of violence. I don't understand why...
Beautiful... I can say nothing more... This song made me cry because it took me back to every beautiful moment in my life, every struggle, every friend lost or gained. This song makes me feel like God is smiling at me despite everything I'm not proud of, and everything I am. It makes me think of the people we've lost and the way we felt when they were still here. Thank you... just for existing, and brightening my day. My prayers are with the families of those who were lost before their time.
I cannot stop listening to this beautiful song. Thank you for putting what we feel into such amazing lyrics. Love always wins because of people like you that use their gifts and talents to speak out with Love.
This was a gift that I will use to remind myself of just how much beauty we are capable of sharing even in the face of ugliness beyond measure. I could not be prouder to be a part of this community. PRIDE suddenly feels extraordinarily real to me.
i heard this on facebook. my tears cant stop. this is the most beautiful song i have ever heard. thank you for making the best anthem for the gay community. STAND STRONG AND NEVER CHANGE WHO YOU ARE. love from calgary alberta canada
today I watched you guys in MSNBC with Lawrence O" Donnell . Amazing song I really feel the pulse.. we are all Orlando. here in SF hurt so much.. I have never seen the LGBT so sad.. thanks guys we are the same!!!
Utterly breathtaking and overwhelmingly bittersweet! This song is a true work of art - inspired, tragically, by gut-wrenching personal, lived experience.
A beautiful, powerful song. A moving tribute to those lost. We all do breathe the same air and one day, I hope we can all truly understand that love is love.
Not part of the community but a mom and a friend and a wife and a nurse. Had no way to connect my feelings until this song. You brought out my heartbeat and heartache. Gun violence has touched me more times than I care to actively think about but this as another massacre of innocents ripped off the scab, yet again and exposed it even deeper and more raw Thanks for putting the pain to prose and music. That in itself is a healing act. Once again, I thank you and salute you gentlemen. You respect the pain of your community and your nation. Blessings to you.
This. This. Has gotten me thru the worst days of my life. I lost two amazing people, but we as a community lost 49. This song is what my heart has been trying to convey, but can't. So thank you.
Thank you for this song. It was crazy, I just didn't know how to deal with all that happened over the weekend. Then I found this song and had a good cathartic cry. And now I am starting to feel better and letting the healing begin. I hope every person walking in these United States listens to this song and hears it's important message.
So sorry for what happened to you all in Orlando. Love prayers and best wishes from Scotland and Ireland. True human spirit will live on and prevail. Thanks Eli and Brandon for such a touching song. Eli your music is fantastic .
A lifetime of rejection, exclusion, dehumanization, and hope for acknowledgment, acceptance and love distilled into a single, beautiful song.Thank you, Eli and Brandon, for recording a song that serves not only as a heartbreaking tribute to the patrons of Pulse, but as a new anthem for us all. You got it so very right.
The words are powerful. The images are uplifting and sad, and true. Just take a minute and reflect, and listen to the words, the harmony, and the love pouring out of this four minute tribute.God Bless you Eli and Brandon. I hope to meet the two of you one day soon, and to grab both of you with an embrace. Today, these two young men changed my world. Touched my soul, they made this week more real and powerful and raw. Without words.... With LOVE and APPRECIATION! ---Randy Economy
So thankful that when the rest of us struggle to find the words to express our love to those in Orlando, there are amazing Humans like y'all to find those words for us..Thank you
This song is so powering and I think that more people need to realize that we are all humans and that we all love who we love and there is no changing that.
Beautiful song. It brought me out of my sorrow and reminded me how much better, than the haters, we are. The meek shall inherit the Earth. We're well on our way.
You are really wonderful person Elie. We are so sad because of this event. And we will pray for Orlando. I wish everyone in the world could be equal to each other regardless of their skin colour, origin, native language, and individual preferences of them. Thank you for your new song
WE ARE ALL ORLANDO.
we love you so much
💜👌🎶
An absolutely amazing song. Surely it will deliver your message.

This song wrecked me. Beautiful.
I know how you feel, Travis. I have this song on ListenOnRepeat, and I'm at 9 or 10 repeats so far. #WeAreOrlando
Me too , tears ......
Hi Travis! I agree; heart wrenching and powerful.
Wow, that is beautiful and I feel very honored. Makes me feel so emotional knowing something I was a part of creating has touched people so much.
Beautiful song, thank you. This video will be shown at my church this Sunday, and I feel honored for being the tech support for this service.
You have gone far beyond simply 'touching' me with this song. You have connected with my internal pain - both personal and for all of humanity.
+Eli Lieb I hope it is okay I put this song on a app called Sing karaoke by Smule. So we all can sing this beautiful song in unity.
You're amazing... ♥
We breathe the same air. We bleed the same blood. We have the same dreams. We love the same love.
Every person should and could understand if they open their minds and hearts, I have so much , love for all/ God Bless!!!Rpatm1951@gmail.com.

I have never cried so hard. This is the most beautiful song I have ever heard. We love you Orlando. We miss you friends. Fly high. Your pulse is ours.
I just saw the tribute on MSNBC...We all should feel this in our bones, come together and take a stand. For peace, for unity, and for all.
We are Pulse.
I shouldn't have to change who I am to count as a human...such a powerful song!!!!
I still think about this song ❤️
If you don't feel something after listening to this, you're not human.
step 1: lay down
step 2: try not to cry
step 3: cry a lot
That is what i done
:c
@me... I am listening two years after the shooting, and I'm still crying. my brother's boyfriend was there.
You summed that up perfectly!
Perfect lyrics for the perfect souls we lost

Thank you for a song that reflects what we all feel.
