Its almost been half a year and I still cry myself to sleep some nights because of this. I will never be able to deal with the fact that people are being bullied, killed, selfharm and commit suicide just because they want to be who they truly are and love who they truly love. I've been bullied myself, I've had one suicide attempt, been in psychiatry three times and have more scars than I could count. But Orlando showed me that I'm still lucky. Because at least I am still alive.
This is beautiful! I had a simular experience. I had major social anxiety in the beguining of the school year, and constantly kept hurting myself because I thought I was doing something wrong. A few month later my 6 year old cousin died. After that, I tried to value my life then trying to take it away. I never realized it befor, but I think it was because I wasn't out of the closet, but after I realized that there was an LGBT community, and I came out as bi and gender fluid, I felt so much happier.
A little over a year ago, 49 members of my community died. At the time, I didn't accept my self for being pansexual but I've learned to love myself. Pray for the families and friends of the victims of the heartless attack🏳️🌈💖👭👬
emily pav it honestly hurts to know that people from our community died for loving someone and I was for the longest time ashamed for being bisexual but I’ve come to accept that I have people in my community and the whole lgbt 🏳️🌈 family who will love and accept me because I know my parents won’t I haven’t told them yet but they will know one day. You are beautiful and loved and I’m glad we can come together as a community and support and be there for one another and pay our respects to The Who died as a community and they will always be in our hearts 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈♥️
I didn’t realise that I was pansexual until recently but I will always accept people for who they are. We don’t choose our sexuality and it is so WRONG for people to be murdered for simply being themselves. I love being pansexual. 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
I don't really subscribe to a single lable. Pan makes most sense w/more femm/women preference. I believe sexuality is fluid. Love is love. Be YOU. So proud of our community.
Your song is a tremendous tribute to the fallen in Orlando - Love you guy!! My husband and I were the couple that sued the state of Florida and brought marriage equality to Florida on January 6th 2015, along with our friends Steve and Ozzie. We were so grateful to hear that many of the families of the wounded were able to get information because of their legal status (unfortunately some were not) and that many of the fallen's families were also able to get information because of their legal status. Now is not the time for tears, we have shed far too many, now is the time to hit back and hit back hard on the bureaucrats that have made this atrocity possible. We MUST change, and in a way that protects us from these kinds of hateful, mentally deranged individuals.
i love this song I listen to it all the time in tribute to my aunt that had died in the shooting her name is Brenda Lee Marques MaCool 😭❤I miss u Titi Brenda😭😭😭💔💛💚💙💜
This song is our hearts and souls because we are so close... I did lose two friends, and it hurts me every day. But I think you should know that you have helped us become even stronger. Thank you so much for this. In honor of our community I have literally listened to this song for every heart lost. I truly look up to you and we are always FAMILY.
My sister and her friends were at pulse the night the shooting happened. They made it out but I'm so touched by this event, I almost lost someone I love more than my own life. She just happened to be in the right part of the bar to get out. I still come back to these tribute videos bc they mean so much to me. im not part of the community in the sense that I am LGBT, but as an ally. I always was, but I'm forever changed by this as we're so many families. Thank you for your beautiful tribute. I cried.
I usually never comment on videos, however, I must comment on this one. I am a Florida native and have been to Orlando to visit and lived there. I can tell you that the LGBTQ community is one of the strongest in Orlando than anywhere that I have been. I have to commend Brandon Parsons on this song and video. I actually cried from the very start to the very end. My heart is broken to think that someone could take our brothers and sisters from us in such a senseless act, but we know that they are now in a better place and they will forever watch over us. May God accept them into this arms and shelter them forever. As John 3:16 says "You shall not perish but have everlasting life". We will remember these 49 angels and will never forget them.
Brandon you are truly an angel of God. I have now listened to this song over and over, I have even shared it with my friends on FaceBook and each of them have commented they could not keep a dry eye. Again, you are an angel of God. Thank you! May God bless you and God Bless our brothers and sisters in his arms now and those fighting to make it through this tragedy.
Brandon do you mind if we place this video on our website to bring attention to it and the lost loved ones? We have a page up already for the Orlando victims, but we want to make sure people understand that this was so horrific, but we will remain strong and we will stand tall with everyone, no matter their ideologies, religions, skin colors, etc. I await your permission.
Brandon thank you. It has been placed on our website. It is the landing page on our website, so we hope that people will click the video and take a moment of their day to listen to the powerful words of this song. Again, you are an angel of God with your talent and voice. Much love to you Brandon!
I'm a straight man, and I have to say this song is a real fitting tribute to the Pulse 49 taken from us all. We need to learn from this and love each other, no matter the ethnic or religious group, or gender orientation. I still stand with the citizens of Orlando as they try to heal from this attack on humanity at large.
We've never met. Probably never will. I've never heard you perform. Until today, well actually two days ago, but, not sure my message got to you on facebook. And felt the need to find you, somewhere, somehow, and tell you how your performance of Forty-Nine Times moved me. The beauty in the lyrics. The soul. The love. The emotion. Felt in every word. Every phrase. Was astounding. I can't understand why I hadn't seen the video or heard the song before today. Melissa Ethridge, Eli Lieb, and Broadway for Orlando, were all over. The words in this song. Man. Brandon. You're a gift. True gift. Just amazing. Beautiful stuff. Thought you should know. Love and healing my friend.
+Brandon Parsons you are so amazing. What has this world become? What is this world becoming? We just have to support the family's of those who lost their life.
@jay Quan before you put your stupid shit on this beautiful beautiful song and tribute. How bout you get that grammar correct if your gonna call something out make sure you know how to spell because like your comment you sound like an idiot....
Jay Quan People like you are the reason lgbtq+ people have problems in life. We lost 49 brothers and sisters. And you have enough nerve to come bringing hate to a place of peace and grief. You should reavaluate your life if you think making jokes about something so serious is funny. So back the hell off and let people live they're own lives!
Jay Quan excuse me can you please come up with an actual conclusion on your shit conspiracy I don't give 2 shits on what you have to say parents are grieving and all you can say is that this is fake can you clarify your excuse give me details about the so called actors skiers Murray the youngest had a full life ahead of her she was 18 now give me there phone numbers give me there address if you know the "actors"
8 years later, we’re still fighting back against hate! This incident changed me FOREVER! I view Pride differently, and I also have rethought my position on what equality actually means! These beautiful 49 souls that lost their lives that night, WILL NEVER be forgotten, nor will the survivors that live with the trauma of that night, to this day. 🥰🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
Ok yeah going from Pulse by Eli Lieb and Brandon Skies to this put me into an emotional wreck. God when I found out I seriously questioned why humanity was so freaking cruel to one another...
worldhasbeencorrupted what would you do if you there when that happened i bet you would be scared as hell this world is basically fucked up and it need to end
Making Orlando proud! My heart breaks for Pulse! I had many friends there that night and luckily my friends survived, but they knew many that were lost. I am a member of the gay community and I am still trying to find healing and force myself to keep going. :(
You might not have shot the gun But you protested against gay rights You taught your children it's a sin You might not have been the gunman But you fueled the culture that made him You were there bullets in his gun
Here we are June 2021 and I’m watching this heading to the mountains with family crying my eyes out… this breaks my heart but I know the lgbtq will stand strong and more powerful than anything! Love u all ❤️🌈
Out of all the songs, this one hits home personally and emotionally, i wish you could be here Monday, the 12th, here in Orlando as we remember our fallen. Thank you for this beautiful song.
Thank you for your incredible heartfelt song Brandon Parsons. We stand united with our brothers and sisters. May we find the peace that will end this violence. Bless you. Peace & Love for All Humanity
Now is not the time for tears, now is the time to show our strength because that is all the NRA understands, this insanity has GOT to stop and we MUST make Washington and the rest of the country understand that we have had ENOUGH!!! My partner and I are the ones that sued the state and brought Marriage Equality to Florida, we are glad to know that the partners of the wounded were able to get information and were kept up to date because of their legal relationships. Now we need to stop this wringing of hands and get to work changing the status quo
I have been looking at different tributes to Orlando and the innocent lives that were lost that night. I am still so shaken by what happened that night and this tribute is incredible. The emotion in your voice makes the song and this song is beautiful. I'm in tears typing this. I live in the UK and I don't know anybody who was brutally murdered and if anyone reading this knew anyone, lost anyone to that terrorist that night, my heart goes out to you because that is the most terrible thing. To the parents, friends and other family of the victims, this cannot keep happening and I am so so sorry that your loved one was taken from you in such a brutal way. It is months on and the world is no longer showing the tributes, but they are here, in our hearts, reaching out to our brothers and sisters who are mourning because it may be months on for us, but for you, without your loved one, it is years. Years without them. That's all I can say right now
I cried so much listening to this and thinking of those soul's lost in such a horrible manner. The fear they must had , the pain of a bullet tearing into them, the fear of dying alone ... it tears me apart. Hate is such an evil weapon. Why, Why do we do this? Why do we hate? I pray for them and the survivor's much more than I have for anyone or anything in my life.
To straight people, this affects them short term and are just sad for a day. Us people who are part of the lgbt community will get sad and even emotional. Rest in peice, you will never be forgotten and we are still strong to this day. To the attacker: You only made us stronger as a community, and we all bounce back up together.
Hunter McStuffer I am completely straight and this kind of thing pains me every day, this is not right. The LGBT+ community deserves the same rights as everyone else no matter right. And I fight for the community in anyway I can and protect them in any way I can so you are wrong not all straight people turn a blind eye to this kind of thing. Not trying to start an argument just trying to show that you do have people on your side.
Remember the "T" and the people in the "+" they can be straight but still in the LGBTQ+ community, we need to stand together even if that means standing in the shared sadness.
I can tell he means it because he’s crying as he sings because he just like the rest of us with a heart feels the pain of the family and friends in that shooting
Tell that to CNN that has instigated HATE 24/7/365 for 4 long years..... Hopefully, a gunman will go pay them a visit to get rid of more Dem, Lib & Socialist scum.
Brandon, I know there's been quite a few songs out dedicated to my city but I must tell you that YOUR song is by far the most beautiful one. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for your support! #OrlandoStrong
A woman I knew lost her fatherr in this attack. She was told by pir pastor not to grieve because he was a sinner that deserved death. That was the first time I took a look at my church and realized we were wrong. A person should never be told not to grieve for a relative.
Someone please explain to me how this song has not gone viral a million times over. It is beyond exceptional. I can't get it out if my head. Brandons voice is beautiful with amazing range, and the words hit you right in the heart. Amazing job!
Beautiful song... so emotional! God why so much hate... we are all brothers and sisters... we should be for each other and not against! We need more love... God please save us...! 😔❤️
WOW, Brandon! I just found the movie "49 Times" tonight and of course saw you singing the most heartbreaking song I've ever heard relative to the gay community. Your voice and performance of it were beautiful. Thank you for sharing your song with us.
Thoughts and prayers for the 49 innocents who lost their lives and all of their loved ones as well as the other who passed 3 months later after saving many.
I spent half my life in Orlando and moved away a year before this Great loss. I lost friends lost future ones but never doubted the resilience of the Orlando community!! God Bless!!
Born and raised in Orlando . This song and images are powerful couldn't stop balling . Orlando my community. 💞 Thank you Brandon #orlandostrong . "if someone treats you with love and you feel loved, who that comes from is irrelevant " 🌈 I teach my two girls this same.. influence is key . "49 you are forever remembered."
#Love #Light #Hope #Peace and #Solidarity I remember hearing this news and thinking of my friends and the memories had there. Orlando forever in our hearts, forever in my memory. If there are family or friends of those who didn't make it still remembering you all.
This is the second time I listened to your song. I haven't been able to listen again til just now. The emotion still rips me apart and my eyes drip with tears of pain. I cant say anymore. So much for me being a tough guy.
This is beauitful music. I live in toronto and we had a huge community tribute to orlando here. I shed tears everytime i listen 2 this. Very powerful music. TORONTO STRONG FOREVER !!!!
I am sickened by the hatred and violence that is committed against the LGBTQ+ community every day. It is really disgusting how some people defend the dehumanization of innocent people simply for existing and being themselves. We need songs like this one to help us heal with horrific tragedies like the shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, but more importantly we need support, equality, and justice. The 49 victims of the Pulse shooting will never be forgotten. 🌈
The days where I just need to cry and let my emotions flow I come to this song. This song is one that can let me release my emotions and also let go of the anger I feel towards that night. Even though I wasn’t in a Orlando that horrible night, it broke me my sense of safety I built up between high school and college was ripped way.
It's still so hard to believe that this will be 4 years since that awful day that we had lost 49 beautiful souls in the name of hatred. The memory is still fresh and we remember the names and faces in our hearts and minds. We will never break or hide, we are still here, living for those that fell and those that must hide for their safety. I love all of you.. and remember. Love is Love. Have Pride in who you are.
They were just Dems, Libs & Socialists, so it was no loss at all, but rather a good deed done..... and you speak of HATRED? Go tell that to the Dem/Lib owned CNN Fake News that uttered constant lies, gossip, rumors, personal opinions & hypocrisy to create as much hatred as they possibly could 24/7/365 for 4 long years..... I say this was an awesome execution of Dem/Lib/Socialist scum and I look forward to thousands more.
I had no idea how much love was lost that day......Thank you for opening my eyes truly to this tragedy...So amazingly beautiful..My heart is broken AND full..
It's been years since this horrible attack.....I came across this song on UA-cam and was extremely moved by it. So much so I downloaded it onto my iPhone and now use it as part of the music I run with. Thank you sooo much.........!
It's sickening how hate can divide love
It's inspiring how love can conquer hate
From your mouth to God's ears.

Almost 6 years ago since this tragedy…my heart still hurts when I think about it…
Him performing this song in so bloody gut wretching.
I live ten minutes from the Pulse Club and knew someone who did not make it. Well done!

That was beautiful, thank you. So emotional. My husbands best friends brother, Antonio (Tony) Brown was one of the 49 lost that day. :(
I am so sorry he was lost :( my heart hurts so much for every person lost in this horrible event. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.
My deepest condolences my heart is broken for all who lost their lives....
I am sorry Serina :( Our community is there for him in this time of sadness. Please tell him that!! #Pulse #OrlandoStrong #OrlandoUnited
I thought it was 50 who were killed, didn't know it was 49.
+Mike Proctor the 50th person was the shooter himself.
8 years later, we’re still fighting back against hate! This incident changed me FOREVER! I view Pride differently, and I also have rethought my position on what equality actually means! Luna Crow Those two songs were the songs I listened to on repeat while crying my eyes out when this happened. They are so powerful and speak volumes.
Religion mostly, it divides more than it unites
This song is the most beautiful song ever! Preyers for all the families who lost someone on the horrid night!
4 years have passed and I still can't watch this without crying.
Same here

The scene with the texts and the very end push me way over the edge.
it's been 4 years sir and why you are not a household name still astonishes me but you will forever be loved in my house, as will the victims
ItS been 4 years. But never forget those 49.
Bailie Rohr we need more people like you, thank you for standing with us❤
Bailie Rohr thank you for standing with us. We need all the help we can get.
*Hugs you tightly.
Remember the "T" and the people in the "+" they can be straight but still in the LGBTQ+ community, we need to stand together even if that means standing in the shared sadness.
Patur O Yep

Tell that to CNN that has instigated HATE 24/7/365 for 4 long years..... Hopefully, a gunman will go pay them a visit to get rid of more Dem, Lib & Socialist scum.

Beautiful Song ♥️🙏🏾 very touching
Poignant, beautifully presented, a true tribute. Thank you ❤
Brandon, I know there's been quite a few songs out dedicated to my city but I must tell you that YOUR song is by far the most beautiful one. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for your support! #OrlandoStrong
Thank you so much. This meant so much to me❤️❤️
I love this song , always makes me tear up 😢❤
3 years ❤️ rest in power
beautiful just beautiful i cried
A woman I knew lost her fatherr in this attack. She was told by pir pastor not to grieve because he was a sinner that deserved death. That was the first time I took a look at my church and realized we were wrong. A person should never be told not to grieve for a relative.
That is tragic. I'm so sorry.
Someone please explain to me how this song has not gone viral a million times over. It is beyond exceptional. I can't get it out if my head. Brandons voice is beautiful with amazing range, and the words hit you right in the heart. Amazing job!
Thank you so much!!!
I was wondering the same thing
Beautiful song... so emotional! God why so much hate... we are all brothers and sisters... we should be for each other and not against! We need more love... God please save us...! 😔❤️
WOW, Brandon! I just found the movie "49 Times" tonight and of course saw you singing the most heartbreaking song I've ever heard relative to the gay community. Your voice and performance of it were beautiful. Thank you for sharing your song with us.
@@Lyndee-c8b thank you so much!
Brandon, this song is amazing! Glad I stumbled upon you here.
Thoughts and prayers for the 49 innocents who lost their lives and all of their loved ones as well as the other who passed 3 months later after saving many.
Beautiful lyrics. Listen to this over and over again.
Thank you!!
@@BrandonParsons I got it on iTunes too. It just touches you. We appreciate you sharing your music with us, while remembering the 49 + survivors. ️🌈
I spent half my life in Orlando and moved away a year before this Great loss. I lost friends lost future ones but never doubted the resilience of the Orlando community!! God Bless!!
Thank you for this! Much love from Chicago...
For Orlando, for Nice, for everywhere Hate has risen its head. LOVE WILL WIN!

I can't stop crying. This song speaks so much truth. I pray the victims are at peace, and my heart goes out to their families.

Thanks bro u are awesome guy u song make me cry thanks bro thanks for your song
Always coming back to this Song. So powerful. We will always keep fighting 🌈
A precious wonderful gift to this world as well as multi talented. Never give up on your dreams!!
I had no idea how much love was lost that day......Thank you for opening my eyes truly to this tragedy...So amazingly beautiful..My heart is broken AND full..
Beauty Lost. My Gen. CHILDREN
OUR children
I'm going to sing this at my Winter Talent show. Wish me luck
It's been years since this horrible attack.....I came across this song on UA-cam and was extremely moved by it. So much so I downloaded it onto my iPhone and now use it as part of the music I run with. Thank you sooo much.........!
tbh, this is my new favorite thing. I can't stop repeating this.
How could anyone thumbs down. This song is so beautiful!! 🌈🎤💙
