That beautiful Brampton is LONG GONE. Had a great time there in the 80s
The late 80s are when it started getting bad..We moved away in the 90s because my mom no longer thought it was a good place for a young family..
@@TheMarky26 why because you think you’re better than the brownie and the Blackman well you’re not all three of are low quality people
Back when brampton was a good place to live..The place i grew up.I miss my old home and im sad about what its become.
My family moved to Brampton in 1970 with a population of about 70,000. All I have now are fond memories of that small-town feel. Now?….wouldn’t go near it for many many reasons.
Hopefully the many reasons are not black, brown and yellow
@@HarryFromTheNorthSidenot everyone is racist why do you insist upon that 🤔
born there luved it glad I left in the 90s everyone wants to celebrate diversity except for the people that originally lived there now it is terrible
@@HarryFromTheNorthSidethose are exactly the reasons
@@paulovalente738 most likely your children and grand children will be mixed with one of those 3
Flower town was once a nice place.. now it’s just traffic and crime. Can’t stop progress as they say , too bad tho.
but is that really progress? sounds like the opposite
now is better, multimillion houses
We could have if we had just stopped the immigration
It's now India
Not India, its Punjab
I'm going to cry. What happened to my beautiful flowertown?
It was taken from you by immigrants
@@tonybaloney8401there’s Sikh immigrants in the video lol and that’s the 80s
just say the word man Indians
The 2 Trudeaus happened..The first one opened the immigrant flood gates the second one drove the nail in the coffin..
@@tonybaloney8401I find this _deeply_ ironic.
Growing up in Brampton from 1961 to 1989 , I have lots of memories .
Even a century before my time there , it's seen huge changes but I'd have to say the 1960's to mid 1975 was the nicest time and a safe town to City to be in .
It’s to bad what it has become
I always knew Brampton to be a city of concrete and cars, cars, cars.. Its nice to see what it once was. I want to brave the boundaries of highway and try to find what is left from the video.
I once came from a small countryside of Stoney Creek, till Hamilton started to pave over it with its tight subdivisions and tall homes. I've taken my family to a small town of Acton, but most likely a boom will come to that town too.
😭 Now it’s a cesspit
A cesspool filled with s**t.
I’m indeed proud of my city, my province, and my country
Your city, province and country no longer exist.
@@brandondodd4713 you’re lying
they most certainly do exist
It's something refreshing to see Brampton as the way it was before the hole South Asian Takeover.
During the 1960's us young married folk from the GTA had hopes of buying a home and living our lives in Brampton. Today, wouldn't go near the area!!!!!!
Who the hell let what happened to Brampton actually happen? It's an absolute cesspool now!! And unfortunately yes, I still fucking live here.
cool, i'm from brampton (1998-2010) but now live in Miami, Florida, USA
left in the dying days of good ol' GTA, wish I was you. The new GTA is garbage. How did you get your US citizenship?
Also Tory Lanes made the same moves
Amazing ❤
“Etobicoke Creek…” shows Norton Park (previously Chassel’s Pit…not connected to Etobicoke creek)
It's now a ghetto
We moved to Brampton in 1972
Brampton’s population is nearly 660,000 now.
And mostly southeast asian... ahhh yess Bramladesh
@@Bloodywasher southeast asian is Thai, Cambodia, Vietnman, Malaysia. South Asian is India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Afghanistan, and of course, Bangladesh, of which the term Bramladesh was "fondly?" coined..
...
East Asian is of course China, Japan, Korea et etc, West Asian is what we call the middle east, e.g., Dubai, Kuwait etc., and North Asia, well, that's about 80% of Russia.
660 000 Indians and everyone else
This documentary was filmed back in 1988. A long long time ago, when Brampton was clean, safe & beautiful, long before the rats took over and destroyed it.
Rats 😭😭😭
indeed my parents told me how goo dit was when they moved in 1995 from india but they did not bring there culture here like rats we didnt even own traditional clothes my dad speaks english without the accent and so does my mom sad to see un educated people coming from south asia who dont even speak the language here
Oh really ! I thought students running canada !”
I wonder if the "Stonehouse" family is recognized in this doc, or if anyone knows of them?
Ahhhh Brampton or as we Canadians call it, Bramladesh.
Brown town is gross
@@LandscapeMaster33pls SAR DO NOT REDEEM
Back then when I grew up there it was a great place to live..Nothing like it is now..
This guy said there is a KAUR to this community 👳♂️
Did he say Cosmopolitan city???? lol
Brownton
haha
Ya brown people who dont kick their kids out once they turn 18 and in turn their parents are taken care of by the family when they’re elderly instead of sending them off to “retirement homes”. Browntown…
What year was this made?
so i too was wondering.. by the looks of it, early 90s
93 to 94 it said at the end.
