I was born in Picton in 74, moved to a farm in 86, we left the County in 94, 2 years after I graduated from PECI. I moved back briefly for work in 2011-2013 and was appalled at the changes. The traffic, the garish gentrification, and the skyrocketing real estate. It was not my home as I recalled it. I guess you can't go back. Like the train whistle on a summer's day coming across the fields...it is all gone now. But I still recall the old times. Going into Masterfeeds to get feed and supplies, across the road to the hardware store for nails, John's barber shop for a haircut, Teasels for a milkshake at the lunch counter... Good memories. My people are in Glenwood now. I need to pay them a visit in the spring.

I lived in Yellowknife from 1975-79, and for part of that time, I lived in a small shack on Ragged Ass Rd....no electricity, no plumbing, no water...😁...it was a great adventure & I loved every minute of it. Thanks for posting the video.

Born in 85 at the old olser hospital which was torn down. Brampton is an absolute cesspool now. The good old days are long gone. I got out but am looking to go further up north cuz the traffic in the GTA is hell on earth. 😭

I agree with krystal below. Nowadays, after filming this short, more buildings are built and "Vieux Hull" doesn't exist anymore. I moved to Hull in the Spring of 1977. Many tell me they miss Vieux Hull.

I lived here in th late 80's-early 90's for school, left in '92, and came back on '06, unbelievable how much the city has changed since '88, and unfortunately not all for the better. This used to be a nice clean city, lots to do and see, you felt safe walking at night (well, I did anyway). Now I would not walk some areas even in the daytime!
