Not having Merrick shot for disobedience is making a point to him that Castor respects him. Not shooting Castor and pointing out that he's actually COMPETENT is making a point that Merrick respects him. Castor very much heard what Merrick said. "Carry on, Sergeant-Major. Carry on." is him condoning Merrick's capacity for doing good and doing it well in spite of his brash attitude. Merrick is officially WORTH IT.

Big Dick Cheney I can never stress enough how much I appreciate your videos. I have subscribed to you since your first videos of Dawn of War. I can always count on good quality videos from you. I can always go back i see my favorite cutscenes because of you. I am one of those few that like cutscenes. A suggestion I would make is do walkthroughs of all these playthroughs because they would be great quality to i know. You would be the only person i would go to.
I get the appeal of space marines and how iconic they are but I wish we had some solid Warhammer/Dawn of War games centered on the Imperial Guard or Planetary Defense Forces.

Guardsmen *BLAM*-happy Commissars might happen all the time, but talking back to an Inquisitor...That tends to end badly for you, unless you're the Space Wolves, in which case it ends badly for the Inquisition.

Just that they were those sent away before the attack on prospero, so they were still loyal by the end of the heresy where the ground troops on Prospero was sent into the warp with Magnus the Red to join Tzeentch. Possibly also the reason why the Inquisition keeps a close eye on the Blood Ravens and exterminated Cyrene.
A better ending would be like: -Sergeant major:Wich is why I didn't shoot you for incompetence -Castor: What was that ? -Commissar: HERESY *BLAM* credits
Let's hand it to Big Dick for playing through the same campaign 6 times in a row! Trust me, I did it myself so I could have all the cinematics to watch and it gets painful after a while.
