    this has been amazing for me. I felt like old age was bearing down on me. pains in my feet, legs, wrist, and a couple of my fingers would tighten up and hurt! when I woke I would carefully stretch and slowly push out of bed feeling terrible, like: how can I do all the things I must do and want to do today feeling this old and un-oiled like the Tin Man.
    started drinking the green smoothies, upping my water intake, and having vegan meals of soup or salad.
    today (day 30) I woke up and leapt out of bed. my feet feel light, legs feel limber, no pains anywhere. haven't had the knuckle tightening or pain once.
    I cried watching one of your vids, Dr G, where you mentioned an 80 something year old woman could open her fingers for the first time in a lonnnng time. so happy for her! and so happy for me too because I think bad pain-filled days were my future. not anymore!! thank you thank you !!

    I’m 2 weeks in and I’ve been sick! I thought about quitting but I thought maybe I’ve been detoxing! So I searched and found this video. I have been so good in not even craving food just feel sick. Flu and cold runny nose and achy. I went from carnivore/keto to vegan so I’m not surprised!

    I"m going on three weeks drinking your smoothies. I only had a few days out of this time only drinking smoothies. I have been craving spaghetti or I eat one piece of certified whole grain bread but, only making whole grain spaghetti with tomato sauce I make fresh and only using a dot of olive oil. I have to say I know something is happening bc., after I drink a smoothie I want to sleep and actually pass out like I'm in a coma lol. I have RA for almost two years and have been swollen, stiff and in severe pain. I was seeing a Rheumatologist and he had me on prednisone and hydroxychloroquine for a year. I wasn't getting better so I stopped taking them a short time bf., watching you and the pain came back like a tsunami the swelling never went away. Since, I started the smoothies I have noticed the swelling has gone down and I am not as stiff as before, I can actually raise my arms almost like normal, I can get up out of a chair without pain, I can almost close my hands and use them a lot better. I just want to know if sleeping after drinking the smoothies is normal? I think it's a sign that my body is trying to heal. I just want to say bf., I started watching you I had it set in my mind that I was going to die...Now, in just a few weeks I have hope it won't be anytime soon!

      Make sure you are consuming enough protein, iron, zinc. You can be low in those and B12. Many humans eat too much sugar in the form of fruit. I find banana, pineapple, and grapes are too sweet. If need be, see a qualified dietician or nutritionist and get some blood tests done. The tests can reveal what you need to be consuming versus what you are consuming.

    I don't feel it's safe to ignore your body if it's craving - because that means it's deficient in something. If it's an addiction - that's fine, but we should separate the two - otherwise you can end up with bodily damage by ignoring the signs!

    I was diagnosed with lupus on the 6th. I was only showing joint pain out of the 11 criteria and a positive ANA. The rheumy put me on generic plaquenil and within 9 days I had side effects. She took me off and IMMEDIATELY I began experiencing my first time lupus flare . I am just getting better after two weeks of having it real bad.... but now i notice I have pounding heart. Which that has never happened, and I haven’t had heart problems before. However my father passed away with heart complications at 62. They have ran an EKG, labs and CT and everything came out normal. Having to have dealt with anxiety before all this really takes anxiety to a whole new lever. I have been eating EXTREMELY healthy... green veggie smoothie in the AM, lunch I’ll have like Kale chips ,fruit and 1/2 avocado.. and dinner I’ll have some salmon with raw broccoli and a lil bit of fruit or a couple more slices of avocado. Am I eating good?

      @panes840 3 роки тому +3

      Not surprised a bad bout of diverticulitis. However, you may need to go slower and adjust
      Some people have a gut microbiome that needs a bit of love and care ❤ first and adjust the microbes and get rid of inbalances. I strongly urge you to contact Dr Brooke directly even if it's a phone call.
      It's the lack of fibre of many years that led to the diverticulitis. Please don't five up.
      Also get yourself the book "Fibre Fueled " by Dr B. He explains soooooo much too. But contact Brooke for guidance and suggestions.

      that is so true when you do not have enough butryic, actate, proline in your colon wall and eat lots of fiber rich foods the body is not ready to handle until you slowing build up the microbiome to digest the food. You also would want to build up your hydrochloric acid which lemons vinegar would incrase the abitlty to digest high fiber foods.
