Great clear vid! My knob went numb. Your video identified the second spring, which I then found on the filter. Using a pencil and removing the pin prior placing it, I fixed it. Saved me a spare part! Thanks for this useful vid! Thumbs up!

My Bosch lid didn't close and I removed it and saw the spring was only attached to the lid. Couldn't figure out how it went back properly. Googled your video and, WOW, 1 minute fix! My dishwasher soap dispenser lid is not opening during the wash cycle however i can open it manually. Is it because of broken lid or broken spring? Do you think replacing the lid/spring will fix this issue?

My spring that opens the detergent lid is broken. Where can I find this spare part? Thank you!
For doing this procedure I think I'll follow everything apart from turning off the water and disconnecting the mains as I don't find this essential for this particular job,so if it's an issue finding the water stop value, or the plug socket, don't worry as you don't turn all this off to put the tablets in, do you 😁 It won't be any different when fixing the lid, also the pretty gloves can stay in the bag....!!

I start the cycle and not even 5m pass and the lid opens releasing the detergent pod and at the end of the cycle the pod does not dissolve! Do you think I need a new lid or can this be something else? Lid will open and close properly it just won’t stay closed during the cycle within a few minutes of the cycle it opens up
so, why do you need to take the power and water off if all you do is touch that part ?

I found it a lot easier to reverse the order of spring attachment, with the spring attached to the detergent dispenser base it's difficult to see the spring attachment pin on the lid. I attached the spring to the lid first (remembering the correct orientation), then slid the first two guide pins of the lid with spring attached into the base, attached the spring to the base pin and lastly slid the lid into place.

I purchased a new detergent lid and spring to replace faulty items. Your video is very useful but unlike you, I found it really difficult to remove and replace the spring onto the plastic pegs. I tried using needle nosed pliers but ended up damaging the lid peg. Also, I was worried that the blue plastic peg was going to crack apart because the dishwasher is about 12 years old and the plastic looks fatigued. The spring is made from really stiff wire and it's nearly impossible to prise it apart with pliers. I wonder now if you slightly enlarged the eye of the spring. Thanks

I replaced the detergent holder a few weeks ago. The jet dry fluid is not emptying and therefore top rack is constantly wet after cycle. I have turned dial inside to max and still the jet dry is completely full and not working. Any idea what I can do?

That spring was nowhere near that easy for me. I put the blue side on and it would pop off before I got the Grey side on. Finally got lucky and got both sides to stay and now she slides like new.
As others have commented, the tricky part is removing and reattaching the spring. A gloved hand concealed that. Suggest observing someone trying to follow your video. Easy for you, but important to see amateurs’ challenge.

How can I take the lid off. The gasket fell out
This video is about taking the lid on and off, I am not sure what you are asking.
There's a gasket inside the slider that holds the dishwasher tablet... the gasket popped out of my dishwasher lid somehow... it looked like a crumpled up rubber band sticking out of the side of the cup. We'd like to know how to repair it without replacing the entire dispenser.
I have the same issue. The gasket/seal is loose and causing the lid to not latch. It would be a pain in the ass to replace the entire mechanism just because of a bad seal.
The rubber seal is getting "pinched", causing the lid to not latch shut.
