@@TANQ31 well mountains are actually sometimes 10 times deeper than they appear.
Most of the mountain (its root) is under the ground. They are like pegs that overall stabilise the crust of continents.
They are like the footings for a building, the foundation! But of course we cannot see this only through seismology can we detect this.

I love anything about the ocean. The animals, the plants, why is it blue? Or green? It’s very interesting that we have lakes in our oceans n rivers n waterfalls? Wow!! So cool not to mention the volcanos firing up the bottom in places, a wonderful world we live in and once more ppl understand how beautiful it really is maybe...there would b more ppl who will want to take care of her, keep it clean for us n all that live in water full time. Can’t wait to see what will happen cuz it’s unexplored to date. Better days ahead friends if we want it.

There is intelligent life in those oceans.
They think, speak a language, have family units, feelings, emotions..and some can outlive humans by a long shot. One fish was estimated at between 350-500 yrs old at the time of its capture. The same fish is believed not to have evolved in any sense since the beginning of its time in the ocean. It doesn't have to. It's perfect.

I know it may seem like we've discovered more from the universe than our own ocean, but truth is, we really haven't. The universe is humongous compared to our ocean and comparing the two would be inaccurate. Yes, maybe we've discovered only 5% of our ocean, but we've probably only discovered 1% of our universe, or even less, because of how infinite it is. I'd say the reason more people are attached to discovering outer space is because its a much scarier and bigger mystery to them than that of our ocean. Not saying that the ocean shouldn't be looked upon, because its sad that we've only explored 5% of something so mysterious and beautiful that lies within our very own planet and not outside of it. The ocean and the universe are the biggest mysteries humanity has ever come to know and I wish I could know more about them!

But yet, the deepest parts of our own world have mostly been untouched, unexplored or never seen by human eyes.... and that is just under our feet....... Undeniably, it is litteraly another world.

It's literally a 'flow' or current of a separate distinct 'water' -which is usually much colder temp wise and often less saline or ocean water so much as fresh or fresher water.
I dont know if there are any models on videos here or not? but if you look up the phrase Thermalclines [sp] you'd get a much better picture. It not only 'feels differnet it 'looks' different-often being suddenly clearer or less clear in a defined flowing shape -sandwiched between layers of 'sea/salty/warmer water.

I believe he's referring to ocean rivers which are indeed fresh[er] water and colder -therefore 'denser' as a deep diver one can actually see this in salt waters in depths of less than 200 fsw. Usually these thermal-clines [?] cant spell it- are colder and sometimes more brackish flows or currents at certain levels. But I have also seen actual freshwater "rivers' in the Caribbean where fresh water springs seep up from the seabed and you can feel it temperature wise and you can 'see' it clearly.

This is so cool. I actually made a highDEA about this a while ago. Talking about the world beneath our feet. While we're so obsessed with outer space and other universes with extra terrestrial life (which is totally understandable, I'm obsessed too) But what if right now as we speak there's this other worldly "universe" going on beneath our feet. Filled with all kinds of creatures we couldn't even imagine, and maybe all the stuff we think is made up, could be real, like Mermaids, Megaladons...
