Thank you so much for so openly discussing acne prone skin at age 30! I’ve felt so embarrassed and ashamed of still struggling with acne at nearly 30 because everyone assumes it only happens when you’re a teen. It’s so frustrating when you still struggle with it well into adulthood 😔 I appreciate you sharing some of the products you use! I may have to try some of these out to see if they’ll help and make a difference in my complexion.
Your skin goes through 2 cycles and it’s typically 10- 15 years apart so acne in your late 20s/30s is common!! You aren’t alone. I have found it is best to be simple and only use cleanser, moisturizer and retinol
I also struggle with adult acne into my early 30s. I decided to try cutting back on dairy and was surprised how much it helped. Just something to consider trying.
I barely got acne in my teens, usually just one or two pimples a year around my nose. I'm currently 25 and am breaking out so much and in areas I never have before, especially around my chin. Seems like as soon as I get rid of one, another one shows up. Super frustrating!
I appreciate the tips and reminder that I’m not alone! I feel for everyone who struggles with it because it’s so frustrating and can be painful too. I think mine may be somewhat hormonal as it tends to fluctuate with my cycle :/ I have tried to simplify my skincare routine to cleanser, exfoliant a few times a week, moisturizer and some retinol serum and it seems to help somewhat. I’ve found with skincare less is more, at least for me. I just hope one day it settles down and I can have that beautiful natural skin. But I guess if I don’t, that’s still beautiful too.
I have fine hair oily too. Try shampooing 2x in the shower. That changed my life. I had to wash my hair every day and now I can go 3 days between hair washes!
The other thing besides washing my hair twice every time I shower... as I have always had oily hair. Is using a natural based dry shampoo powder with a makeup brush and then brushing it in helps me go a couple more days between washes. The one I get smells like chocolate from my local store which I love doing supporting local. I've tried the can sprays which I seem to have to use quite a bit in order to do the same as the powder. I also have tried to just sprinkle it on but using the makeup brush helps make it last longer and put it where I really want it rather than it just falling wherever it may land.
That mini hair clip is a great idea! I used to use claw clips to put my hair up in a high ponytail when my hair was long, but haven't been able to wear my hair like that in a long time.
I have like the same sort of length hairstyle you should be able to put your hair up in a ponytail and have it either down low or up a little bit you may have to use some bobby pins if you have layers to help the layers Stay in
I have a similar hair situation (fine + dense) and have had that haircut several times in my life. My number one exercise tip is to let go of shame of feeling silly and go for pigtails.
On the irritation of the eye stuff, I don't use any products on or near my eyes anymore. No creams and not even any eye make-up. I used to wear eye shadow, but ever since developing EBMD and dystonia, I stopped using eye shadow.
I loved this video. I really enjoy listening to people talk about things they are passionate about. Funny, the outfit you're wearing you said was teal but on my screen it reads as a beautiful bright blue. I wouldn't say teal at all! I wonder if it looks different in person. Either way, it's a beautiful color.
I’m not sure if they ship to Canada but when you’re in the states Stratia has been sensitive skin and barrier friendly. I’m obsessed with their entire line and doesn’t break the bank.
I don't watch hauls a lot. But when I do it's one of your video's, because you are like the fun energetic friend . I find these video's relaxing and fun. Also does your dog do meet and greets ? haha If you would ever come to Belgium I would love to meet you tho. You really are my favorite youtuber.
Much more relevant to living north of the border than down in warm California, but one of my recent Amazon favourite finds is electric hand warmers. Think the little charcoal pouches that you shake up and then just hold or stick onto your gloves or sock, but these are USB rechargeable. The brand name on my is Ocoopa.
You should try the Yerba Mate eye cream from Good Molecules! It is super affordable and a great eye cream for the morning. I also have very sensitive skin so I am loving this content! I am also Vanicream's biggest fan! I exclusively use their moisturizer and face wash!
I have nearly everything ELF: Holy Hydration face cream, Power grip primer (the one with niacinamide), Camo 16hr hydrating concealer (my favourite), Halo Glow filter, camo liquid blushes (very pigmented so gotta be careful with those as a blind girl), halo glow blush beauty wond (they have contour and highlight wonds in the range too), magic mist and set spray (bottle douses you but it’s great), glow revival lip oils, a creamy gliding lip liner and an anti-blemish cleanser. 🤣😂
You're going to love the Pacifica Rosemary meant and tea tree oil treatment. When I do use it I love my hair even more cuz I have hair like yours but mine gets crazy you may be even faster than yours. I still only use it once a week but I feel like I need to use it almost every wash. You should check out Ren beauty for some barrier protection creams they are a little more pricey but not 120 some dollars maybe 40 to 50. And when they have sales that is the best time to pick up stuff. Their vitamin c doesn't irritate my skin and my skin can be a little bit finicky sometimes could try that too
Yes for your skin care routine video. I get hormonal acne, not fun. Also, do you use sunscreen because you are outside a lot or just because it's a good practice. I really hate to add extra steps to my routine but I know how damaging the sun can be. Thanks 🙂
Me and my mom have super sensitive skin for different reasons I have eczema and she has super sensitive dry skin and the vanicream vitamin c has not caused us any irritation I’ve even put it on top of my eczema irritated spots and it didn’t aggravate it
There's actually a federal law about selling vitamins and FDA products in half empty jars. It is considered deceptive marketing. And even though I've filed written complsints, no one answers or acts.
really appreciate your review videos and your perspective but will not be watching this one as I can not support Amazon due to their working conditions and waste production. looking forward to your next.
Hey Molly, from a fellow blind girl. Walmart has some good headbands that don’t give me any headaches. It’s the home edit line at Walmart. And they are adorable too and not childish like most headbands tend to be. Hope u like them.
as a poor teen Elf was absolutely my top choice for makeup over any other bargain brands for sure. LOVE their stuff!! even the brushes are pretty good for the price point (obv, for Molly this doesnt apply since she's got brushes etc but for people new to getting into makeup theyre not bad!!)
I am loving the new hair, Molly! As an actor, I keep my hair long and untreated so I can change it for any role…and so it stays the same as my headshots. So I live vicariously through your beautiful hair transformations. I think this cut and colour suits you so well!
@Molly Don't know if it's something you find helpful but I wanted to tell you this. I know you have said in the past that you found it hard to film by yourself. I've been watching a lot of vloggers getting the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera. And what I've noticed is that it has an amazing face tracking and focus. I know getting the setting set isn't accessible for you but once done it's just a turn on turn off kind of thing.
Yes I would love your skincare routine! Also that blue jumper type thing (not really sure what it’s called) but it looks absolutely amazing on you and makes your eyes POP
I have a question for future videos, would you be able to link everything in your description box? It can be difficult to get the products you are recommending when there are so many different products on Amazon that are marketed as dupes. Thanks in advance! Love you and the videos Molly! 💜
My hair is very similar in length to yours and my fav hairstyle is half-up-half-down with a scrunchie! Most of my scrunchies are velvet (from the store Icing), but I also have 1 fleece one and 2 sweater-material ones. I also like putting colorful snap clips in my hair! I use the clips to keep the front hair out of my face and to secure any hair that doesn't quite reach the back of my head when I do a ponytail.
I love love your dark hair growing out. It really suits you so much better than the blonde. The dark hair a against your porcelain doll skin is such a good contrast it looks lovely. I noticed you pronounced "Zed" the American way so your American audience to understand. You are Canadian! Say it the way you normally would pronounce it ( And how the rest of the english speaking world says it) Be a proud Canadian.❤
I used to never use drugstore makeup/skincare because once up on a time they weren’t that great (I’m sure that still true of some.) As of late I have found many are just as good and sometimes better than the more expensive brands, which is a good thing! 💛 PS love the yellow mug.
2:35 i know you dont use liquid liners, but ever since starting using makeup, my go-to has been Elf's liquid waterproof liner! It's still my absolute favorite, 13 years later!🥰 I will always preach the Elf products til I die🤣
I found a tip a while back for skincare that is a bit stronger or prescription strength, instead of using it every other day or a few days a week, what you do is put it on let it work into your skin for a few minutes then instead of leaving it on like you would, then wash it off so it only works for those few minutes till you can build it up to using it overnight without having to wash it off! Because sometimes even though you use it only a few times a week that leaving it on for 10+ minutes/overnight might just be the reason its irritating and you wont need a lower strength after all!
Although it’s expensive I think you might like the Dyson air wrap for curling styling if your thing doesn’t work out. it seems pretty blind friendly and it doesn’t get too hot it’s just hot air like as hot as a hair blow drier.

@@MaineCoonMama18cutting out 99% of dairy has been the only thing to help with my cystic acne

i would be keen for a skincare/makeup routine video. i have never really taken care of my skin and would love to see what you do
I have fine hair oily too. Try shampooing 2x in the shower. That changed my life. I had to wash my hair every day and now I can go 3 days between hair washes!
SAME! That & I switched to a professional shampoo. I buy it cheap from Mercari so it's more affordable.

This hairstyle is SOOOO CUTE on you!!!!🥰
That Cocokind barrier serum is amazing - it also has a little bit of lactic acid which I find really helps things absorb better.
That mini hair clip is a great idea! I used to use claw clips to put my hair up in a high ponytail when my hair was long, but haven't been able to wear my hair like that in a long time.
I can listen to Molly all day. I so love 💗 Molly’s vibe and personality! She is a cutie 💁🏻♀️🥰
I LOVE ELF!!! I use almost exclusively elf products they’re so affordable, work well, and easily accessible
elf is the best!! i recommend their hydrating concealer, putty blushes, bite-sized eyeshadows, and any of their eye and face brushes. so good!
I have like the same sort of length hairstyle you should be able to put your hair up in a ponytail and have it either down low or up a little bit you may have to use some bobby pins if you have layers to help the layers Stay in
I just LOVE your short hair, Molly!!!
I love watching your videos especially since you are descriptive which means I can listen and get work done

I got that same hot shot onsie, I have a black, grey, lavender, and purple. They're super comfy.
I have a similar hair situation (fine + dense) and have had that haircut several times in my life. My number one exercise tip is to let go of shame of feeling silly and go for pigtails.

I love your short hair it’s so pretty! Thanks for making this video it’s super helpful as I’m looking for more affordable products! ❤
I loved this video. I really enjoy listening to people talk about things they are passionate about. The Free People dupe you showed influenced me to follow your Amazon shop so thank you!
The unbrush actually tears my curly but not coily hair. I want that straightening comb so bad!
Yay skincare video!💕
I recommend soft head bands The hard ones tend to give you headaches I think I got a bunch of them from Amazon
The hair color suits you so well!! Also your efforts at the gym are showing!! 💪
Would love to see you morning and nighttime skin care routine
She already did videos.
I’m not sure if they ship to Canada but when you’re in the states Stratia has been sensitive skin and barrier friendly. I’m obsessed with their entire line and doesn’t break the bank.

I have similar hair and am on a hair care journey! Thank you for the info on the tonic and oil I'll be looking into that!
Your arms look amazing 💪
Came to the comments to say the same thing!

@mollyburkeofficial I absolutely love your haircut and the hair color. I feel like it makes your eyes pop and it’s very fitting for your facial.

Elton John sleeping in the background ❤
I LOVE ELF!!
I’m glad you mentioned that Unbrush because I do have tangly hair. 😢 Those can toppers are a great idea! Good video!!
I love my unbrush.
Before you mentioned it, I was going to comment that you would love the smell of the Pacifica products because you love essential oils
When Molly says, "you need this." You immediately go buy it.
I need the can drink top frfr! I had a bee fly into my drink before! And definitely since I have kids 😅
Hi Molly! Your top here is electric blue, not teal
Skincare video PLEASSEEEE omg I have the same skin typeee

skincare morning and night routine
I know it’s not out of your face, but I love a beach wave on short hair
I'm from uk, and I can't access your amazon shop to see them 😢 😢 is there any way to access via the uk Xx
Can you do a video for clothing for people who are 411 I am the same height as you and it is very difficult to find clothing or pants the right length
where can we find the hotshot onesie dupe??
There's actually a federal law about selling vitamins and FDA products in half empty jars. It is considered deceptive marketing. And even though I've filed written complsints, no one answers or acts.
Interested in a skin care routine video please.
She has a few of them.
Molly, your arms look BUFF!!
What was the Amazon straightening brush brand or link?!?
It is called the un-brush.
I don’t see the dress linked. Am I missing it??
@DanSgambelluri I think it is in the Amazon link.
All of my makeup brushes are elf. As someone who doesn't do my makeup very often, expensive makeup products wouldn't make any sense for me
Look Molly, Elton John is NOT in front of camera, except when you styled the blue pants ahead of filming!
Elton John must have been mighty tired, he didn't invade the filming space as he is wont to do 😅
Pigtails
really appreciate your review videos and your perspective but will not be watching this one as I can not support Amazon due to their working conditions and waste production. looking forward to your next.

Wow your hair is gorgeous on you! The length and color suit your face so well!

@DanSgambelluri I know but this has a gimbal that follows when you move so it's something she could use and move around but still be in focus 💡☺️
Yes I would love your skincare routine! Also that blue jumper type thing (not really sure what it’s called) but it looks absolutely amazing on you and makes your eyes POP
Check out the elf halo glow liquid filter highlighter✨
Molly hope you're using heat protectant before you straighten that gorgeous hair.
Literally wearing my crz leggings rn from your last video recommendation lol
Hi Molly so glad to catch this as soon as it went up guide dog user here and love your content

You look so cute and happy and healthy! We love to see it ❤ I hope you feel happy and healthy inside too
I really like Elf's liquid primer, concealer, liquid bronzer and powder bronzer.
Where are the links?
Stupid tutorial request...can u do a vid tutorial on ALL things tank top? Like which to get for what purposes etc😊
Differin gel is a must have for me

Thanks, did not notice the link for the least. it was not linked.
I love elf's lip plumbing lip gloss. It's sooo good and so pretty!! I definitely suggest to try it!
