Interesting fact about Misery: King wrote it as a pseudo-response to readers who didn't like Eyes of the Dragon; he actually received a few death threats over it. It was his first completely non-horror story, which he wrote so his daughter, Naomi, who was very young at the time, would be able to read something he wrote. That’s the beautiful thing about us having an author with such a wide variety of books to read! Sorry Duma Key didn’t work well for you, what’re some of your favorite King books?
@@ColinsCornerYT I realized I spell Duma wrong. lol. I'm a fan of most of his books. Salem's Lot, Bag of Bones, Hearts in Atlantis are just three of my favorites
It’s okay I realized what you meant! I need to read all of Hearts in Atlantis, I’ve only read parts of it. And I just had a friend telling me about Bag of Bones today! That’s another one I need to get to!
