    I guess the butter melting at that slow rate is to make sure that the heating of the milk mixture dont cross 110 degree so as not to affect the rising of the yeast in the doughnut batter mixture. Am no expert am just saying.

    • @LAINYTAVARES
      @LAINYTAVARES 4 роки тому +1

      It's much better and fast if you melt the butter first (microwave it) and then mix it with warm milk.
      Pour into the yeast and flour while still a bit hot (not super hot, or it will "kill" the yeast. Also not cold, or it wont activate it). Hot enought for you to put your finger and don't get burned, ok?

    May I ask about the mixer you used is industrial or big dough mixer right? (Correct me if I'm wrong) is the recipe that you give us requires that mixer or it's a half recipe. That a home Baker like me could make?

    Hi! It's my 1st time trying out your recipe. During the mixture of the dry & the wet ingredients, I forget to add in the eggs. I noticed it when the dough has formed. I still try adding in the egg.
    I still proceed to try making the dough but it doesn't double in size.

    • @ngshiyun5447
      @ngshiyun5447 4 роки тому

      Is it due to the step I missed therefore the dough does not have any changes after an hour?
      Also, after we create the doughnut & need to wait for it to double in size, do we have to cover it up to block out any wind?

    Hi, thank you for this video! I read in one of the comments that 360-375 is the recommended oil temperature with this recipe. I’ve fried donuts at temperatures around this number and it burned my donuts pretty much immediately. Do you know why that is? The only difference in my recipe was that I used all-purpose flour. Is that the difference?
