Amazing work😍😍.. But am I the only person here who thinks this video could have been much shorter?? 😫😫😫
Ofcouse, you are not alone I was angry he had to show us all the repeated steps instead of skipping after the second.
Me too ,👆
I'm with you. Did not finish watching it
@@Queenys_touch Yesssss😭😭😭.. Sorry for the late Reply tho🤦♀️
@@misisGONGYOO Neither did I... Did a lot of skipping there😂😂😂
I nust finished mixing all your recipe ingredients, hand kneaded the dough for 12 minutes. Smooth, beautiful dough. Rolled & cut my doughnuts, and they are rising/proofing, right now. Can't wait to get these beauties finished.🤗💖
How did it turn out? Would you say tried and true recipe?
The butter not melting is giving me anxiety
I thought I was the only one
OMG yesss
Maybe you used a bread spread butter. Try using a cooking butter. Definitely a margarine
Me too😵😵😵
That how I know I have a short attention span because I had to skip forward. But I have to acknowledge that her donuts came out beautifully and soft. Mine didn’t raise that high but I will try again.
Your mixer does not only make good dough but also a good beat hahaha lmao
Your donuts look so good! I want to try it but i haven't bought the ingredients yet because of quarantine. And i dont mind your video being so long, it just shows what you really are doing. More love!!
Wow... my donuts were so light, fluffy and fantastic....I used the same recipe for Cinnamon scrolls, fantastic results...Thank you so much for sharing your recipe...
did they have the light/white line on the donuts like the video?
@@meerajamali3591 I did not notice, maybe because I was using nu-bleached white flour...I also put in a 1/2 teaspoon powdered nutmeg for that real donut flavor.
It looks very similar to the Dawn mix. I used to work at a donut shop and these look similar to ours. Well done.
Really, nice feedback bro. Thanks
@@wownice9 No prob. I've been actually trying to figure out their recipe and this looks very similar so I'll give it a try.
Good evening po. Question lang po ulit after po iknead yung dough kailangan muna po ba sya irest bago icut tapos ipaparest ulit? Thank you po.
After mixing the dough no need to rest...
Okay po. Thank you.
the mixer beat makes me wanna dance some tribal dance 😂
Are you nigerian 😯❤
I knew it only you would understand that beat 😊Wow!! I love Nigerians the most talented people in Africa❤❤❤

Your mixer is an amazing tool... the kind that would probably last for generations. Doughnuts looks really moist 👌
I think it’s a pro mixer commenly used in bakeries
All Things Fab you are right, it is a pro mixer used in bakeries and the like. I used once for years in the 80’s and they do last forever.
Yup it's a commercail mixer

Great recipe! I thought my dough was too wet, maybe the milk was too hot or added the eggs too late. Stuck it in the fridge for 2 hours to rest, let it proof on the counter for one and still turned out great! Definitely going to make this more often. Thank you for sharing!
Wow, i thank you so so much, because resipe ya Donuts iko sawa sana, nimeishi nikipea family yangu chukula ya kulala, but for now nawapikia donuts na snack's ziingine kupitia You Tube mapishi.
I guess the butter melting at that slow rate is to make sure that the heating of the milk mixture dont cross 110 degree so as not to affect the rising of the yeast in the doughnut batter mixture. Am no expert am just saying.
Thank you so much for taking your time and teach us this amazing recipe.
But I do have a question : it's only fermented once?
Yes after shaping
I have done this recipe for 4x now. We love it. Thank you.

Hi Eric. Thank you for sharing your recipe. I just would like to know how long should you rest the dough after mixing it with a spiral mixer before you shape the doughnuts? Or do you shape it right away? Thanks
No need to rest after mixing.
Mixing-cutting- resting- frying
The mixer sounds like i'm on a festival 😅
Yes is dragon 🐉 Festvl
You are correct
😂😂😂
😂🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hi, your donuts looks amazing!, i’m not an expert chef but shouldn’t the dough rise before shaping for better texture?
If not, can you explain why did you proof the dough only after cutting. I’m just trying to learn and gain experience :)
Just tried this, great recipe!
I love the way the mixer was sounding while mixing up the mixture.... But I love the doughnuts more...
Looks like an amazing recipe I wish the steps were explained better ,and the measurement too.

Hi! Can I form them, freeze and then when I need, taking them out of the freeze, ferment and fry? Thank you!
Just made this fluffy donut ! Thank you so much ! I’ve tried few recipes before, but this one is the easiest and fool proof 💪🏻
Thank you for the good feedback.
Hii do we just heat the milk until it's warm? Is it okay if the butter isn't completely melted?
Yes
@@wownice9 thank you! At what speed should I beat the dough? At what temperature should the oil be to fry? To what thickness should I roll the dough to? Thank you in advance! 😅😆
High speed, frying temp 365F to 375F if you used small frying pan with electric plate set number 4, shrunk thickness 1.30(cm)
Does anyone know how many these make?

What is bread flour ?
Yeast i got granules. Hw to make with that? I want to make for iftiyari... Pls help
I just made these. I'm not sure why but mine came out kind of like biscuits and a little crispy on the outside. I made sure they stayed light and not dark. They are still pretty good. I'll try again though.
hello Mr Eric, I want to ask you how long do you mix the dough in the mixer? thank you!
Mix until dough leaves the side of the bowl 12 to 15 minutes.
@@wownice9 thank you!☺
And how hot was the oil? 😊
Hi. May I ask the temperature of the oil when frying? Thanks much.❤❤

amazing doughnut later i will make my own one. thanks for sharing this very helpful.
Me encantan las Donas. Intenté varias recetas pero ninguna me funciona. Voy a probar la tuya ya que es la "sincera"(muestra el batido).

When you add the milk mixture to the flour...is hot or cold?
beginners would find it confusing because you went straight to the second rise and not showing the first rise.
What do you mean? Im a beginner at this
I just wanted to ask something after adding the eggs do u let it raise for a hour before rolling or immediately roll it out
Immediately roll it after mixing
Did you proof the dough before cutting the donuts?
I mean, No
In another comment you have said u don't need to proof the dough before cutting the donuts
Yes no need to proof before cutting . I read wrong the 1st comment.
Can i use this same recipe if i will bake the donuts and not fry them? Will i still get the same softness if i bake them? What is your recommendation of recipe for donuts if not fried? if fried, why do you use corn oil? is there any difference between using other kinds of oil such as vegetable oil, palm oil or coconut oil for frying donuts? thank you sir eric!
wating for the vid of how you make different fillings and glazed. thank you

Wow! A very nice recipe can i reduce the amount of eggs to 2 or 1? Plz help
Yes, you can. Substitute with milk
I be dancing to the mixer beat😂
I love the sound of the mixer
The mixer's sound like EDM beat
Hi I made this one using this recipe.
I dont have a mixer. my donut is not smooth.
Should I rest the donut only after cutting it right??
may i ask the size of the cutter please.
Yes after cutting .. cutter size 2.8 inches.
Butter gets melted with milk?
Wait until cold or still warm, when it pour to flour?
This method are new one for me
It's much better and fast if you melt the butter first (microwave it) and then mix it with warm milk.
Pour into the yeast and flour while still a bit hot (not super hot, or it will "kill" the yeast. Also not cold, or it wont activate it). Hot enought for you to put your finger and don't get burned, ok?
🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🥛🥛🥛🥛
How much protein is in the flour used for bread? + Are eggs and butter at room temperature?
12%, yes room temperature egg and butter
Do I have to let the dough rest before shaping?didn’t see this step on the video
No. After shaping you need to rest or proof.
I don't have such a machine..can I do it by hand with this recipe and.methode?
Lovely recipe and video...but please help us next time by video editing. We don't want to sit through all that. My apologies if I sound rude🙈
Its ok. No worries, thank you

Hello how many hours did you let it rest before.. kneading it again and cutting it into circles?.
1 hrs and 30 minutes.
Did you proof it twice
No verbally instruction will create confusing..specially when no standing mixer, using the hand mixer..better to have the verbally instructions

Sir after mixing the ingridients and knead pina alsa nyo po ba or direct cutting na then rest ulit?... i mean the right procedure po sana, i want to try po sana..hope u reply sir...t x in advance
After mixing or kneading no need to rest.
mixing-cutting-proofing-frying.
Omg !! This video is so slow!
Fantastik doughnuts.
The way u placed your fone while videoing wasn't ok
He is filming the whole process alone. why it wasn't ok?
May I ask about the mixer you used is industrial or big dough mixer right? (Correct me if I'm wrong) is the recipe that you give us requires that mixer or it's a half recipe. That a home Baker like me could make?
For this recipe not required to used mixer. You can used by hand kneading.
After mixing do you let the dough rise? Seems like you are telling us to take dough out of mixed and to begin cutting.
No need ko rise the dough after mixing. Mixing, cutting, proofing and frying.
Hi! It's my 1st time trying out your recipe. During the mixture of the dry & the wet ingredients, I forget to add in the eggs. I noticed it when the dough has formed. I still try adding in the egg.
I still proceed to try making the dough but it doesn't double in size.
Is it due to the step I missed therefore the dough does not have any changes after an hour?
Also, after we create the doughnut & need to wait for it to double in size, do we have to cover it up to block out any wind?
Kaylangan pa po bang mag add ng flour while mixing para maging elastic?
Opo add po kayo pa unti unti.
How long did you heat the milk, sugar, salt and butter? How much degree do you have to heat the milk?
Thnaks for sharing to us. What is the size of you dough cutter for yoir doughnut?
How long to rest/rise after ingredients have come together?
Really it is a wow doughnut recipe. Looks soft and inviting.
Already tried it...turn out nicely ..tq for recipe
Welcome👍👍👍
This is really nice. Please sir, how many days can those donuts take before they go bad and besides that.. do you have any other page apart from utube?
1 day only.
I’ve never seen a recipe without fermentation before shaping. Am I getting this wrong? How hot was the milk? I’d love to try!
I think they used instant dry yeast instead of active which requires you to bloom for 10 minutes
Can I use all-purpose flour instead of bread flour,if so do I need to reduce the amount of milk in the recipe
Ff
@@lizelbabyg9827 what
Yes.. you can use all purpose flour no need to reduce the amount of milk, same grams of milk.

After 10 min.
next time if possible ,let us see how do you transfer the doughnuts to the oil.it's a crucial step.
Instead of milk and butter, can water, margarine or oil be used? thank you
Can i do oven it?
Which do u prefer most po, ibake or ifried ang donut? I tried once kasi pumapasok yong oil after sya maluto. Ilang minutes po ba sya dapat nakasalang?
I read all of the comments don’t people understand that your milk cannot be too hot 105 because of the yeast, and as long as your butter is soft it will mix in with the flour.
Can this dough be kept in the fridge and work with it the next day
Hi did you pour the hot milk and butter straight in or it has to cool
how long/how many minutes do you need to knead/mix it using electric/stand mixer? thank you!
13 to 15 minutes
Hello po, what kind of milk po? Pwede po bang Evaporated Milk?
Pwede po 50% water 50% evap.
how many times can we re-roll the scraps without affecting the fluffiness of the donuts?
Hi can I use all purpose flour instead?
Yes
Hey! Can you please guide on which bread flour to use for donuts? T55 or T65?🙂🧡
You can use T55
Wow Nice with Eric Thank you! 🧡
Would like to know why its left to rise only once? Thanks
Hi, thank you for this video! I read in one of the comments that 360-375 is the recommended oil temperature with this recipe. I’ve fried donuts at temperatures around this number and it burned my donuts pretty much immediately. Do you know why that is? The only difference in my recipe was that I used all-purpose flour. Is that the difference?
Same here. And I found it was because I live in high altitude. You have to deduct 30 degrees Fahrenheit for every 1000 ft you are below sea level. Mine is perfect at 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
How long did you leave them in the oil and what temperature should they go in
45 minutes each side, medium heat 300°F for small pan or fryer.
@@wownice9 45 minuten each side??
