I like this idea because, as you said, it parallels the Grand Line section before. Totally not mark discusses the parallels in his video as well, even saying that the East blue saga will be mirrored in the final saga. This is why I believe Oda is telling the truth when he says One piece will finally be ending soon. We will have the End of Wano, Elbaf, and a time skip, this mirrors Marineford, post Marineford and the original time skip. Then, just how Oda made the Prologue of One Piece take 100 Chapters, Calling it "The Legend Begins" and ending in Logue Town, we will see 100 Chapters after the time skip for the final arc, The Epilogue if you will. But, just as Totally not mark says, this final saga will mirror East Blue, but in reverse. This means, the parallel to chapter 2 then chapter 1 will happen. That being, defeating as Female tyrant, but Imu instead of Alvida, then having a party, but with the world instead of just the Red Hair Pirates.
To further this theory, Morj even suggested that by the end of OP Luffy might died. Which takes this parallels into consideration, it makes sense since OP started by King of Pirates dies and ended with King of Pirates dies as well
Both thriller bark and whole cake/wano had a chonk charecter who take a piece out of people to animate things, and could use said thing to power themselves up

07:35 Holy cow Big Mom and Katakuri mirror Spandam and Rob Lucci. One powerful idiot who does more harm than good and one actual competent number 2 who keeps things working behind the scenes but has their own special motives. Rob Lucci's being a thirst for blood, while Katakuri is genuine care for his family. They are even mirrors in the sense that Rob Lucci poses as nice in Galley-la but is actually evil, while Katakuri poses as evil but is actually a bro. Like, I've been wondering where Big Mom's arc fit in the whole "the arcs are paraelling themselves" thing, and now it finally clicked for me.
I love how much each one of your videos has that bit of soul in it, you can really tell your passion in every video. I’m so happy to call myself a fan of yours, or shall I say “Nakama❤️”
Love the content. I do however find it hard to believe that Oda reintroduced Sabo and gave him Aces devil fruit just to kill him off so soon. I think that they possibly framed Sabo for the murder of someone else who died at the reverie. Awesome channel, my friend.
11:27 "unless we have some crazy twist happen"....6 months later. There was recently a crazy twist in wano. If shanks is in elbaf they'll probably ask him if he knows anything about this twist or at least tell him about it.
really good video you do a great job explaining your points. to me you helped point out that roger starts his adventure wanting to "turn the world upside down" but ends up as the pirate king. conversly, Luffy sets out to become pirate king and ends up turning the world upside down.
I really like your videos, this theories are well made and reasoned. I prefer those kind of theories to the ones based on numerical nonsense and word plays. The parallelism between pre and post-timeskip is amazing and you can find more of them if you look close: like Vivi and Rebecca, forced to work for their warlord oppressor to save their countries, or the appearance of a crazy powerful weapon created by Vegapunk that turns the tides for the marine just before a war breaks out. Could this parallels keep going if there is a second timeskip?. Like Sabo is believed dead but he is actually alive, maybe with a false report on the newspaper. CP0 already used that on Dressrosa to fool the Straw Hats. I am very curious, because apart from the marines with admirals and maybe Vegapunk new weapon against the revolutionaries, there was one more person in Mary Geoise. Can Jewelry Bonnie be the key for Sabo's survival?. Keep the good work and thank you Foxy.
Wow, thanks for the excellent feedback Chon! I really think that Oda loves those parallels, so my guess for Sabo’s future leans more on the grim side - but I 100% can see Bonney playing a big role in the current events at Mariejois. Interesting take on the matter, and now that you mention it - the Pacifistas and the SSG might have more in common than I originally thought. Maybe he succeeded in making android copies of other warlords besides Kuma? Now you got me thinking haha Anyway, thanks for watching dude ✌️
I know this is old but I'm watching dubs and this is about where it's at. The thing with the parallels is that they aren't entirely the same. They're going through similar trials, but the second act is showing how they've changed, how they handle the trials differently and avoid some of the issues they had in the first act. I think it's more likely that Luffy somehow saves sabo from death, and somehow meets his father through that mess, probably with the help of Marco.
Hahahaha yea that seems to be the general response. Can’t blame anyone for still not expecting another timeskip, but it’s fun to think about nonetheless. Thanks for watching!
Now we know that Sabo actually didn't die there... yet I feel that Sabo is going to have a major impact on the story just like Ace. I don't think Oda is going to kill him, but you know, only time will tell.
The three events at the reverie: King cobra was murdered, attempted murder on kuma, and whapool leaked Vivi’s connection to the strawhats making her a wanted criminal
What Oda made a mini series if Shanks ate the Gomu Gomu No MI and in 5 chapters it’s shows how him, Ben Beckmen, Ysopp, oh and Lucky Roo, became pirate king with all of his mates. Lmao
Honestly since the timeskip I've believed there would be another. But i hate you so much for pointing out sabo may have actually died[Really love the character😭]. Dragon sweating to me hints it's a horrible situation.. As you mentioned I believe besides getting stronger the timeskip will basically be geared towards planning & gathering forces for the final war. Of course BB vs Shanks happens b4 the timeskip to me
I would really like it if Oda actually did kill Sabo cause even though I do like him I can't deny his existence always had a bit of a cheap aftertaste to it, like Oda couldn't fully commit to the idea of killing off Luffy's brother so he simultaneously did it while creating a replacement, if his actual purpose was to actually DOUBLE DOWN on the loss I'd give mad props to Oda, but I just can't find it likely given his usual style, I don't see him spitting in Luffy's face like that after giving him and Sabo such a heartwarming reunion. The reactions to the Reverie news make Sabo's death look so obvious that my immediate assumption when that chapter came out was that it must be misleading, I (and many others tbf but I did think of it myself first) think they instead framed Sabo for Cobra's murder and captured him (the shocked reactions would thus be a combination of disbelief over Sabo doing such a thing and fear of his imminent execution, Ivankov's line "This is SABO we're talking about" supports this imo).
Imo, i still can't see Luffy as someone who will do revenge in such fashion. Luffy for me strikes more to Rock Lee than Sasuke in that area. If we wanna used just parallels only, the most logical ending to Sabo would an even greater and grandier (i think that's the word, sorry 😅) version of Marineford War. This is all just my poorly researched speculations since i haven't reread the whole manga again, so sorry about that: Just like Ace, Luffy will heard the execution of Sabo. This time the executions is in Mariejois, think of it's an upgrade from Marine to WG. Then the rescue mission begins in a place full of prisoners mirroring Impel Down, but instead of pirates it will be slaves (and some Sun God Nika shennanigan happens i guess). Luffy will befriend unexpected allies who can shapeshift like Boneclay, Jewelry Boney. And just like Buggy bluffs his way to recruit as many people as possible to add to manpower, so does Usopp with the slaves. Thus, fulfilling him having 8000 men under him lies that he used to tell.
I really think Ussop will die to be named "The Greatest Warrior of the Sea". Sabo might not die but Ussop. I really like to see how Ussop and Yassop's meeting will be. Maybe Sabo was captured by Shanks' crew as they protect the Reverie. This will spark the Straw Hats to look for Shanks and be at Elbaf.
Great theory but Sabo probably was framed of killing King Cobra instead. Sabo is probably bringing Vivi to the Straw Hats in Wano with the grand fleet. Sabo probably did actually kill Kuma though out of mercy and was only framed by Imu for Cobra death since they failed at the Vivi assassination. And she's on the run and joins the crew after Sabo brings her there.
I think killing Sabo would alleviate a lot of the issues people would have with him. Instead of a cheap replacement Ace, his whole purpose was to be an absolutely brutal second twist of the knife for Luffy's greatest trauma. That's a stunning gut punch for One Piece.
Your argument for one year timeskip on Elbaf is very convincing. And now, even when I believe you it will happen, I think it's not the real timeskip and there will be one bigger timeskip of four years. Why? Because Oda's been saying for years now that One Piece will end in 5 years. But maybe I just remember it wrong. Anyway, what I always wondered about is why there isn't time passing during the show? I mean, Luffy was 17 and now he's 19, but with all the islands and off screen sailing it should have been more than a year just to circumvent the globe (even excluding all the adventures on various islands), so he should be 20 already.
It’s gonna be a timeskip, that isn’t a time skip. It’s just gonna be a arch that takes place over a period of time. They’ll end up spending 2 years on Elbaf, but it’s not going to seem that way whatsoever. It’s Manley cause if the giant culture and them being small. BUT Gear 3 may speed areas up but we’ll have too wait and see… Eheheehe 😮💨👌🏼
I believe luffy will succed where he failed with ace, and this time he'll save his brother. Still you got some really good arguments so Idk. but I don't think oda's killing sabo offscreen, I remember someone pointing there's one lie in the news that they published so it's probably this one, if sabo will die though, it'll not happen offscreen imo that's not how oda does things. Still awesome video
i know im very late to this video fairly new to your channal i think this time skip will happen even more so now because of this new power he needs to master
Sabo is not dead because you don't just kill such an important character off-screen. Roger needed 1 year because he wanted to travel across the whole Grand Line AGAIN with Oden to translate the Poneglyphs and find the last island. The Strawhats have Nico Robin with them since the first Poneglyph on Alabasta. Now think about how long the Strawhats have been travelling across the whole Grand Line, excluding 2 year timeskip. It should be close to a year. That is because Luffy is mirroring Roger's route. The Strawhats will gain the third road Poneglyph after defeating Kaido. Luffy is able to use advanced conqueror's haki and fight 1v1 with one of the strongest characters in One Piece. There are barely any islands left to discover and basically only room for one final saga. How does a one year timeskip make sense now? It doesn't. We're super close to the big Finale and the Strawhats are mega strong and they have to find only 1 more road Poneglyph. There's no room for a Timeskip
I don’t believe that sabo was killed I think we was framed for the murder of King Cobra seeing how when people where reading the news paper they seemed more shocked of Sabo’s actions and what he did. The world government would also might what to make a big show out of his education seeing how Sabo is a pretty big member in the revolutionary army and then we’ll come full circle this time Luffy is prepared with his friends and allies to take on the world government and Money D. Garp will have one more chance to choose between duty or family and this time choose family and rebels against the government. (Disclaimer this is not my theory I forgot where I heard this theory but I do think that it’s pretty valid also I do agree with Hidden island theory for the most part I just don’t think Sabo is dead)
I always used to think that there will be a timeskip when they go to laughtale cause it maybe just takes a long time to go there or they have to wait for some specific moon constellation or something for the sole purpose of making them a little older, which would be pretty cool to me as i grew up watching and luffy is still nearly the same age he is in the beginning lol
I think sabo is still alive, would be a wild semi off screen death. I think sabo does die, but not now and I think luffy will see his death in person. As far as a time skip, yeah I think it will Be required for the crew to heal from wano wounds
Only problem with this is that you're assuming Sabo has to die. I don't think Sabo is going to die at all. Yes there are parallels but the difference between the First Half and the Second Half is that they do mirror eachother but in the second half things are twist just slightly. So While Ace died at the end of the first half of the series Sabo will be saved by Luffy once he's officially become a King and can protect anyone he cares about. Theres no point in Oda bringing Sabo back otherwise. He already had to create multiple narrative excuses just to fit him into the story I don't thing he did all that just to kill him off....again. He already fake-died once. The point of Marineford was becoming strong enough to protect anyone he cares about. Him losing Sabo now would fly in the face of that. Because Sabo's death in his childhood already taught Luffy the thing you're talking about in the video. Plus, Luffy is NEVER gonna fight the government with the goal of saving the world. He's not a Hero. He's not gonna fight them with the purpose of freeing the world. Thats never been how he operates. If Luffy fights them it will be over something strictly personal. Sabo's death isn't necessary for that. We already have Akainu up there that he wants to trade hands with and the theory that creating the One Piece involves destroying the Red Line. Luffy coming into conflict with the World Gov will be far more organic and will NEVER be Luffy taking them on because they are objectively evil. He doesn't care about that. Other than that I agree that there will be another timeskip. I just strongly disagree with the stuff about Sabo.
Honestly there’s nothing I dislike more than this shanks-luffy Davy back fight. I hate the idea so much. They’re real men with their pride on the line and they should fight for real
I respect that take, I think most people just can't see Luffy and Shanks fighting each other with their hearts in it because we only see them go all out when they're angry. I can see it being a manly pride-on-the-line thing like you said, but even then I can't help but expect them to pull punches.
Fair point! But maybe we are too biased by having seen the Foxy v Straw Hats Davy back fight. That one was pure comedy and maybe just meant as a teaser. I can imagine that a Davy Back Fight between the Straw Hats and the Red Haired Pirates would be on another level, include more serious fighting/serious sparring. Some theorize that Rocks potentially gathered his crew by Davy Back fights, for example. Those would have been more serious and violent for sure, for example. Especially because it seems a bit weird how Rocks (no matter what kind of strong beast/monster he was) was able to bind so many strong willed, and physically strong (yes, not all in their prime yet, but still feared and strong) people to his cause... Maybe Rocks was actually that charismatic or skillful leader and could simply beat them all into following him. Could also be of course. On the other hand, if we look at how Blackbeard got the other half of his crew, with this game to the death in Impel Down . This could be seen as a sort of Davy back fight as well maybe, what do you think?
What if in some way the mera mera no mi ends up on elbaf and theres a huge war over if involving luffy and blackbeard either pre or post second timeskip and luffy ends up eating it gaining a second devil fruit. It could mirror Blackbeard gaining a second power at the end of marineford, then the second timeskip could be luffy learning to use Ace's power :O
Love the video, great stuff Just wish everyone would stop calling things like marineford and onigashima "war" when they're actually just battles. A battle is a military conflict between two or more armed forces that are well defined in duration, area, and force commitment. War is an intense armed conflict between Militaries, Governments characterized by extreme violence, aggression, destruction, and mortality that stretches for many months or years.
If you spend all your time worrying about being wrong then you'll never get the chance to be right. Sometimes you're better off just shooting your shot bro.
Hmmm, don't think sabo is getting off-ed after everything, and off screen 😂 would make sabo trully pointless to have brought him imo🤔 like lazy writting just for the crew have a reason to react, idk, also, would look really bad that Luffy would fail to save his other brother he thought was dead 🤣(you know what, now that I think about it, I am more open to the idea of sabo getting off-ed, it would make the connection of luffys' crew more meaningful. But I'm still not sure about how it would go down, seems very forced :/ , that is my thought)

Which takes this parallels into consideration, it makes sense since OP started by King of Pirates dies and ended with King of Pirates dies as well
I just found this channel and I gotta say the quality of these videos are really good
One of the best one piece theories I’ve seen. Rooting for this
A wonderful compliment, thank you!
i find it peculiar how your channel is very under appreciated yet overwhelmingly enlightening.
Yes this is indeed “THE Sabo theory ever made”
Both thriller bark and whole cake/wano had a chonk charecter who take a piece out of people to animate things, and could use said thing to power themselves up
okey i just finished watching every vid on your chanel and i got to say your name really fits
your channel really is like a hiden gem, every single video of yours has such an amazing vibe also the structure of these videos is so well planed witch makes your videos really easy and chill to follow
Subbed brother !
I think ur gonna sky rocket into the one piece community and im here for it. I dont agree with all he theory’s but damn a fresh perspective in this community feels right.
Heres to watching ur channel’s rise in subs
brooooooo the whole parallels section is AMAZIIINGGGG!!!
thank you so much for sharing, this is mind blowing. Even tho I knew about some parallels.. damn this really blew my mind I ended up screaming Ik it might sounds stupid but fak it's scary how much parallels oda's pushing into his story. No surprised he is known as a genius
This is really polished, props for taking the time to find those similarities in storyline
Duuuuuude, I’ve been wracking my brain trying to figure out how a second Davy Back fight would be woven in, and Straw Hats v Red Hair Pirates sounds like the best way. Solves how he inevitably fights Shanks too! Amazing insight, 👏 🎉 🙌 🎉 👏
Gotta appreciate how much work went into this. Well done. ☕
This guy making quality content fr
Well done, well done! You really did your research. Bravo my dude~
The phrase "third time's the charm" really rings true here. I can see the quality in each successive video of yours increasing ten-fold. There's not a doubt in my mind your channel will blow up eventually ESPECIALLY if this theory ends up being true.
Thank you, Foxy.
Screw Foxy, thank YOU!!!
Thanks for the content amazing job keep it going love the music also
You’re gonna be a huge OP UA-camr. Amazing content. Instant follow
Happy to have you as a fan, nakama :)
Love the content. I do however find it hard to believe that Oda reintroduced Sabo and gave him Aces devil fruit just to kill him off so soon. I think that they possibly framed Sabo for the murder of someone else who died at the reverie.
Awesome channel, my friend.
I think that's a very valid take, as well. Good feedback - Thanks for watching, brother!
Ayooo, almost there with ur theory
@@andreabressan696 wasn’t too far off! Story is getting really good
Watching this video really enhanced my understanding , the metaphor about mera mera no mi being a torched was sick as well
Dang this is better thought out than most popular Op theories rn.
ANOTHER BANGER!!!! THESE ARE SPOT ON!!!!
11:27 "unless we have some crazy twist happen"....6 months later. There was recently a crazy twist in wano. If shanks is in elbaf they'll probably ask him if he knows anything about this twist or at least tell him about it.
You received a new subscriber today with these theories. Also luffy ain’t in a rush to get to the one piece he wants the adventure along the way
YAHOO a vid i aint seen yet! hmmmm only 2 other channels take me to a dif world. thanks and keep it up!
really good video you do a great job explaining your points. to me you helped point out that roger starts his adventure wanting to "turn the world upside down" but ends up as the pirate king. conversly, Luffy sets out to become pirate king and ends up turning the world upside down.
Pure gold. 👏🏻 Maestro
Now you got me thinking haha
Anyway, thanks for watching dude ✌️
I know this is old but I'm watching dubs and this is about where it's at. The thing with the parallels is that they aren't entirely the same. They're going through similar trials, but the second act is showing how they've changed, how they handle the trials differently and avoid some of the issues they had in the first act. I think it's more likely that Luffy somehow saves sabo from death, and somehow meets his father through that mess, probably with the help of Marco.
Nice, thanks for the video.. ❤
5:58
Me: oh shit, haha i didn"t see it coming, it acttually similar
8:07
Me: realised *OH SHIT*
By god this sure is the theory ever made
I can’t wait for usopp to reunite with his dad
now that it is clear that ruffy can use fire, i´m pretty sure at some point hes gonna have an attack called something like giganto fire fist
I was like nah this dude tripping then you started talking about the parallels
Hahahaha yea that seems to be the general response. Can’t blame anyone for still not expecting another timeskip, but it’s fun to think about nonetheless. Thanks for watching!
Now we know that Sabo actually didn't die there... yet I feel that Sabo is going to have a major impact on the story just like Ace. I don't think Oda is going to kill him, but you know, only time will tell.
I haven't come across a second time skip theory since the Alpha2late17 era.
Bro odas editor laughed when he heard that oda said that so I wouldn't be too sure Elbaf will be short
I think Blackbeard has the 4th ponyglyph and the Davy back fight will be done on the island it came from, pirate island.
The three events at the reverie: King cobra was murdered, attempted murder on kuma, and whapool leaked Vivi’s connection to the strawhats making her a wanted criminal
Red leg Zeff asks Luffy to stay at Baratie for 1 whole year
😳
Of course BB vs Shanks happens b4 the timeskip to me
And what if the timeskip involve the davy back fight!?
Beautiful theory
Sword Canon or Sword beam similar to metaknight/link.
I like the parallels. Here's hoping that Shanks parallels Rayleigh and helps train Luffy instead of paralleling Whitebeard and die.
Aged like spoiled milk.
Ummm 14:32 ... He trains Luffy for 18 months, and leaves him on his own for 6....
This theory's very convincing. You might have a point with this
What if luffy is also able to eat 2 Devil fruits before going for Blackbeard and eats the mera mera no mi??
Imo, i still can't see Luffy as someone who will do revenge in such fashion. Luffy for me strikes more to Rock Lee than Sasuke in that area.
If we wanna used just parallels only, the most logical ending to Sabo would an even greater and grandier (i think that's the word, sorry 😅) version of Marineford War.
This is all just my poorly researched speculations since i haven't reread the whole manga again, so sorry about that:
Just like Ace, Luffy will heard the execution of Sabo.
And YES fans SHOULD apologize to Foxy. Davy Back arc hilarious.
Elbaf is the Usopp powerup arc????
THI, quick question. Do you believe Sanji will have conquerors haki too. Plus can we hear your thoughts on Sun God Nika
Hi! No, I don’t think Sanji will have conqueror’s haki. As for Nika, I talk a lot about him in my Devil Fruit video. Hope you enjoy!
sabos pretty important so i dont think hes gonna die off screen, he probably just got captured and framed for murder
It truly is.
I think killing Sabo would alleviate a lot of the issues people would have with him. Instead of a cheap replacement Ace, his whole purpose was to be an absolutely brutal second twist of the knife for Luffy's greatest trauma. That's a stunning gut punch for One Piece.
Instead of a Davey Back fight over the last poneglyph it should be over the straw hat
Whos here after 1054
It’s gonna be a timeskip, that isn’t a time skip.
It’s just gonna be a arch that takes place over a period of time.
They’ll end up spending 2 years on Elbaf, but it’s not going to seem that way whatsoever.
It’s Manley cause if the giant culture and them being small.
BUT Gear 3 may speed areas up but we’ll have too wait and see…
Eheheehe
😮💨👌🏼
Great video! I think and am hoping for a time skip!
Thanks a lot! Glad to hear I’m not the only one haha
If anything I think a timeskip is more likely post Laughtale
And then egghead happened😭
Im from the future, you were correct.
Now garp is captured instead of sabo maybe your theory is right
I don’t believe that sabo was killed I think we was framed for the murder of King Cobra seeing how when people where reading the news paper they seemed more shocked of Sabo’s actions and what he did.
Hmm what if sabo gets the kuma treatment and luffy has to kill him. Ahh I doubt oda would go that far.
good vide but i'm ngl if sabo dies it will be memed😭
This could be seen as a sort of Davy back fight as well maybe, what do you think?
this theory is 99% spoiler. By this point, you might as well tell us what the one-piece is :D
Talking about sabo is so funny because even the thumbnail of him grown up is a spoiler 😂 bro’s entire existence is spoiler territory
Love the video, great stuff
Just wish everyone would stop calling things like marineford and onigashima "war" when they're actually just battles.
A battle is a military conflict between two or more armed forces that are well defined in duration, area, and force commitment. War is an intense armed conflict between Militaries, Governments characterized by extreme violence, aggression, destruction, and mortality that stretches for many months or years.
You were so wrong. Sabo dying offscreen is crazy. When will these UA-camrs realize no one dies in One Piece.
