His connection to Khonshu is so strong that Khonshu resurrects him every time he dies. This is a sort of immortality.
Reminds me Remo Williams. He doesn't die often in the series, but when he does, Shiva The Destroyer rises up and grinds tanks into dust etc.
A rated R series w/ Remo and Chiun would be fantastic!

I wonder if Moon Knight will be made more powerful in the show. It looks like he can manifest his weapons almost to an unlimited potential, leap from building to building and is completely bulletproof.

He has done more impressive things than that in the comics lmao. His toughest suit in the comics is literally made from Adamnitium. Ain't nothing getting through that. He also has energy absorption, immortality etc in the comics. The only thing they really changed in the show is his suit which gets summoned but that doesn't really make him more powerful because like I said, moon knight has one of the toughest hero costumes in the comics. Don't forget that moon knight is also super rich in the comics and has multiple high tech gadgets on top his magical abilities.

Moon Knight's power is at the Cosmic scale, as long as the Avatar does what Khonshu wants. If the avatar disobey khonshu's orders his powers will be at the human scale. Marc Spector is a billionaire, so when he refuses Khonshu's orders he literally becomes the Batman of marvel universe, using technological gadgets to fight.
That's why moon knights powers are so inconsistent, Sometimes he is a Cosmic Being and sometimes he is just a more violent Batman.

That's exactly right. To given some examples when he is doing Khonsu's will in the Age of Khonshu, and with his aid, he's able to take down almost every major Marvel Universe hero such as Dr. Strange or Thor for example. But when he later turns on him and let's him be imprisoned he takes de persona of Mr. Knight, who is little more than a brawler.

That's kind of the point. The Sun symbolizes order, always there shining in the sky (even if behind the clouds), while the Moon is chaotic, always changing, and causing strange things to happen when full. Spector's personality and powers both reflect this connection, it's one of the coolest parts about the character.

Don't forget that moon knight is immortal as well. Due to his pact with khonshu he can't die. Well to be more specific he can die but everytime he does he just gets resurrected. Also don't forget moon knights most impressive run recently where khonshu ramped up his absorption ability to the point where he absorbed several heroes powers like doctor strange, iron fist, ghost rider etc. Moon knight can be a cosmic level being depending on how much power khonshu decides to grant him.

The thing that did it for me was indeed when he fought Taskmaster. I always thought he was cool...but that art and that issue cemented how badass he really is. (I freaking LOVE me some Taskmaster, and that issue with the two of them fighting has stuck in my head for YEARS, amazing artwork, amazing)

I used to read his comics back in the 70s, i cant believe he is on screen now. One of my favorites and underappreciated heroes.

Damn I'm so jealous. Wish I knew about comics when I was a kid, I started getting into them in recent years. I started MK comics last week and I love it so far. Wish I knew about Marvel and DC comics back then.
After watching Moonknight in Disney+, he has become a favorite marvel character of mine. MoonKnight is very awesome and incredible character. I really hope that after the show is over they make a second season or have him appear with the Avengers.
I think one of my favorite moon knight moment might be when he used Thor’s hammer even though he wasn’t worthy, he could use it cause apparently he could control moonstone and that’s what the hammer was made of.

It was just stated that the hammer was forged in the heart of a dying star which is why them making the uru metal a metal that came from an ancient moon wasn't really a retcon, it was just a reveal.
Are we going to forget about the time he fought Thor?? Thor threw his hammer at MK and he stopped his hammer on a dime mid-air using his powers. He could be one of the most powerful if Khonshu gave him all his power.

Considering that every time he dies Khonshu simply ressurects him i would say that is a pretty good power. Might be why he wears all white. He does not care if the enemy sees him coming. He cant die. As long as he serves Khonshu he is effectively immortal and powerful and 'nigh unstoppable.

Love when he fought thor also, Moon Knight explains that he knows Mjolnir is made from the Uru Metal and since Uru is technically moon rock, he's able to control it. Moon Knight repeatedly hits Thor with his own hammer before using Mjolnir to send Thor into space and calling upon moons to come together to crush him.
Everytime I see Venom and MK in the same page it always reminds me of the moon knight meme "Why do I hear Eminem all of a sudden?"
I have a couple of moments that cement Moon Knight as a complete badass. And they are all from the Age of Khonshu arc.
1: Thor threw Mjolnir at Moon Knight, but he just stops it in midair, and beats Thor with it because Mjolnir is made of moon rock.
2: He stole the power of Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider AND Iron Fist. Like, come on, they are 3 of the most powerful characters in Marvel.
3: He became the host for the Phoenix Force, and even rejected it. If I'm right, you have to have a willpower of titanium to resist the Phoenix Force's influence.

Been a fan of Moon Knight for years. One of my favorite all time characters in comics. Never thought he'd be popular enough to get a TV show but so glad he's getting the spotlight he deserves! Dudes a crazy badass and I love it and I think Oscar Isaac is gonna fucking kill it!!
There is a time that proves Moon Knights strength is on planetary level when he took a hit from Hercules due to some accident and got up with ease saying "do you want to feel something similar"
I always believed that his powers were just imaginary because of his mental state, his lunacy makes him think crazy things which makes him stronger and fearless. Similar to Bendis run where he believed he was fighting with imaginary Avengers, but he made a makeshift webshooter, a fake captain america shield to represent them in his mind. In his mind he was beating his enemies, but witnesses saw that he was getting beaten to a pulp. Like the Joker he is an unreliable narrator, since eyewitnesses always had a different story. A crazy nutcase will believe he is Superman, and the power of the mind can in fact make you do crazy feats beyond reason.
It's been proven several times that his powers are actually real.
@@calebstephan2083 no eyewitnesses in the comics though. Like in Lemire's run where New York was under werewolf attack and then he wakes up in a mental institution. He is a very unreliable narrator, most of his feats are purely accidental.

He is more like AzBats Jean Paul Valley, their craziness fuels their strength and durability.

Hopefully his power scaling is a bit more consistent in the show. Still by far my most anticipated Marvel project since No Way Home.

I knew a little bit about him before this but MAN I honestly didn't know he was this badass. Now I'm even more hyped for the show.
I was reading comics when Moon Knight first appeared in Werewolf By Knight, and one of the things I appreciated about the character is the question that would follow him, "does he have powers, or is he just delusional?" "Was he resurrected by Khonshu?" "Is he 'that' strong, getting stronger in the full moon, or is he just crazy-strong?" I liked it when they crafted the stories so we just weren't sure.

According to the classic "Marvel Super Hero RPG", Moon Knight's strength, under the full moon, allowed him to lift tens tons with maximum effort. He also got about three times faster, and healed up a *lot* faster in the moonlight.
I hope he'll have the mystical powers of the moon which in the comics he lost; I hope he'll get them back. 1. Lunar Empowerment (getting stronger by the phases of the moon. You've already talked about that) 2. Necromancy (controlling the dead as he did with an army of mummies) 3. Lunarkinesis (powers of the moon that provides gravity control like Graviton). And 4. Self Sustenance (survive indefinitely without need of a breathable atmosphere). Personally, I think he should get umbrakinesis (darkness and shadows) and photokinsis (light but as silvery blue or grayishly white color like the moon).

you left out how he fought his former partner midnight who was brought back from the dead and made into a cyborg. the round robin story arc in amazing spider-man was so my favorite and to this day, it still is.

Knull confirmed in comics that khonshu is one of the few elder gods in the multiverse. The other elder gods include knull himself, cthon, Ra the sun god aka the demigorge etc.

Both are skilled fighters with tons of gadgets and experience who inspire fear into their enemies. I think the only big differences are that batman is more grounded and scientific while Moon Knight is more supernatural and brutal.

Pretty recently it was revealed that Uru was actually moon rock, and that Moon Knight (I think in an empowered form) could control Mijolnir because of it. Thor throws Mijolnir at Moon Knight and he stops it mid-air.

I never heard of Moon Knight until the tv series was announced! Now I want to see the show.
Can Khonshu resurrect Marc an unlimited number of times or if the god needs to wait a while between resurrections? How many avatars have come before Marc Spectre? While a god as strong as Khonshu shouldn’t have issues with multiple revivals, the rules the god operates by is unknown as it is also unknown as to know how many times can Marc Spectre die and be resurected before it takes its toll of Marc's mind and body. The fact he has a split personality disorder is a indicator of its toll on Marc.
Always enjoy watching the channel and can't wait for the Moon Knight series and how this character will be in a larger scale

Moon Knight fan here, think it should be acknowledged some of these aren't strength feats, but more a testament of unpredictability, which is often how he gets the upper hand. For example, he didn't beat taskmaster in a straight fight, cause he couldn't. So instead, Moon Knight crashed his helicopter into him, and then took all his arrows while taskmaster was pinned down. He then ends the fight not by beating him, but putting the fear of god into him
Could he possibly also benefit from positive probability, along the lines of Domino? Like, do the laws of probability seem suspended around him and tend to tilt in his favour?

When he was with the West Coast Avengers, Konshu brought Moon Knight to an alternate dimension with hundreds of full moons, and he ripped a robot apart with his bare hands.

The two against Spawn, Spawn would win due to his stronger abilities. Batman against Moon Knight, I think Bats would win due to past victories against other supernatural and powerful beings and his high IQ during combat would give him the edge against Moon Knight.

first episode seems to be doing the character justice, so we're off to a good start.
First of all, you NEVER once mentioned his powers and abilities in the History of Moon Knight video you made. You only talked about his fighting skills and weapons. You made it sound like he had no powers what-so-ever. No mention of his moon-enhanced physicality, his knowledge of magic or the supernatural, his ability to draw on the powers of previous Moon Knights, his prophetic visions, creating lunar astral projections, or his ability to drain someones energy through physical contact. This is the very first time you even mentioned he had superpowers AT ALL!! You never mentioned he had any powers until now

I think mark Spector, jake lockley and Steven grant will lose their mind and eventually become a villain which explains why all the marvel superheroes are trying to fight and stop moon knight. That would be dope. Also I feel like konshu will eventually take over their body and become a real villain. 2 theories and we will see what unfolds. But definitely excited for moon knight season 2
