Personally having driven Audi’s, mercs and Ferrari real 4 seaters, I see why Porsche have so many fanboys. They’re phenomenal cars, to me they’re the best sports luxury manufacturer out there. Especially the sports tourismo.
There is a massive difference, whether you arrive in a Porsche, or in an MB, Audi or BMW. Porsche's prestige over those mundane brands is huge. If you haven't experienced the Porsche DNA, it's about the time. Those who know, know.
I’m honestly not offended by the plain jane looks on the outside with this spec, but I’ve always thought the 4S model is the perfect compromise between price and performance imo. And that stretch of road at the start of the driving portion between Newport and Laguna is probably my favorite in that area. Good job, man!
This costs more than a 911 for a reason. This has a sporty 911 bloodline, but the luxury and comfort surpassing executive vehicles. Don't skimp out on options! I moved from a faster (4.2 0-60), but much larger, V8 Audi A8L to Porsche Panamera4. There's no comparison for driving dynamics, sound, feel. I added about $30K in options, to put it on par with my luxury vehicle. You feel like you're in a $130K vehicle, versus the $110K on Audi which was fantastic, but from the outside it was still an "A4". In contrast, these go to ~$250K+.
Great video, I'm surprised I just found it since I've been looking for Panamera base videos for a while now and this is the best video. I like how you open and look at everything on the car and then run it through its paces in different modes. I test drove a turbo and a base and while the HP is fun, the light steering and sportier feel on the base did it for me. I couldn't find a used one I liked so I ordered a new base model optioned about the same as the one in the video but with 21" wheels and the sportier 18 way seats. Thanks!
Wow. Just an effortless video. So smooth and easy to watch. You make it enjoyable. I generally hate Porsche, but a huge panamera and Taycan fan. The interior is second to none. I dont know why no one references the fact that the seat bottoms are an homage to 80s Ferraris. I forget which one. Might be the 308, but just magic. I'm in love with the seats and the interior. Mt favorite car is the 750Li, but this one takes the gold. Great video Mr. Miles!
Great review! 👍 I’m glad you’re upon the reviewers that gets a hold of plenty of Porsche products. With your quality of reviewing, you’re definitely upon my favorite reviewers and UA-cam channels on the platform! As for the vehicle, the base is what I’d choose. They’re pure, lighter, and just enough power to toss around in. I’d probably choose the “911 Turbo” rims, and chrome silver window lines. The interior is beautiful though and contrasts lovely. Again, great review Miles! Never disappoints 💪👌
One of my favorite cars, but I would be depressed to pay more than $100k for a car that looks like a rental with those boring wheels and without the sport exhaust
Nice review . First time I found a review of the base panamera. I've ordered the wagon in Australia and we get standard most of the features you mention.. except the base price is way way higher. Tossing up between grey and the gentian blue as my order yet to be given a production date. Moving from a cls500 wagon which I would just replace if they still made them.
Thinking about getting one but I’m having trouble justifying the $90K price tag for a 330HP base model with so many options on the market at this price range.
There are no other options except the Audi A7 which isn't close to Porsche status, or build quality. BMWs are all boring and Mercedes has nothing that competes in looks at all - they're still slapping in ipads that look atrocious. Top speed of the base Panamera is 168mph. The race doesn't stop at 60mph. Get the 4S and best of both worlds.
Did it have sport exhaust? I am about to finalize the order of base Panamera and I am wondering it this is an option I should go for since it is rather extensive here on Europe.
Great question. I prefer the Taycan's exterior styling, but the Panamera's interior. That 4S is a thrill to drive, so it might push the scales and win my vote.
@@MilesPerHr Totally agree! The interior of the Taycan is surprisingly cramped and is very low to the ground. It was tough getting in and out of the Taycan. Again beautiful car.. but cramped.

4S is a nice mid-range, true. Glad you enjoyed the video!
We sat in this car last week at a dealer, in this color. Another woman customer said to my girlfriend- “you look beautiful in that car.” And she did.

I'm very glad you found the video (and that you enjoyed it)! Enjoy your Panamera 👍
Fun fact, the emblems on the wheels on a Porsche always point to the valve. Quite useful when you need to check the tire pressure.
Porsche is very quirky lol. Love little stuff like this
The best (and one of the very few) reviews of base model on UA-cam. Hats off
Glad you enjoyed it!
My dream car, can’t wait to make this a reality.

Better wheels and the sports exhaust are essential 👍
Great content and format. I would only say, the Audi A7 and Mercedes CLS don't compete with the Panamera and 8 Series.
i got someone i know considering on getting one. i’m gonna use this video to tell them about it
Awesome, thanks for sharing!
Gimme one when I get back to the States

Excelente.
Amazing car I drove this and I love it
It's still a PDK not a torque converter. But nevertheless great video.
Right you are - that's my mistake!
Portland, JAMAICA in the Building !!!
Never gonna give you up
No trollin bro,Has anyone ever told you you sound like Jim Carey 😂😂😂😂
😂 that's a first!
This was a great review.
Nice video. This has an 8 speed PDK dual clutch transmission not a torque converter
Excellent video!!
Cool! 😎
105k? That's dirt cheap.. 2nd hand under 3 years old 2019 model cost over 350k USD in Singapore

It's a lot of money for the power, but the handling and build quality justified the price tag IMO.

Excellent looking car a really great fastback but I can’t choose between this or the 8 series
Just look at the interior and ask yourself where would you like to spend few hrs journey
Same thing lol . I have 5 series , test drove 8 series . I guess panamera is intelligent option .
Great video milesperhr
this has Porsche's PDK, not a torque converter auto like you said...
How’s the ride quality? Does it match with the s class? Thx
S Class is smoother; Panamera feels more connected to the road.
How much better does it drive compared to a cayenne?
Is this more reliable than the S Class?
I like the Car but I think the price is a little bit to high for the performance of the Car.
You can also buy a Porsche with more horsepower. Porsche is a premium manufacturer. Something like that is always expensive if you want quality.

Can you tune a base 2021 or 2022?
You can tune any car. Whether you'd want to void a new warranty is a different issue.
23:01 button screaming low quality unfortunately

These wheels are nice but a little bit too small which makes the car a little uglier

Yes, that is how Porsche pronounces the company name.
Those wheels are pretty boring.
