Great info. These things can really get big!😅. I grew some from seed and dug the last two years. I’ve never divided them and I don’t wash any bulbs I store as I think the dirt provides protection-just my thought anyway. I’m a bit leery about planting them near roses since I heard they get gall and can spread to roses. I may just try leaving them in the ground next year with mulch and purchase a couple in colors/bloom that I like. They are a bit of work, but they are very nice fall color and have no need to spend money on mums. Thanks for the clear demonstration as I may need to do this. But wow, how many do I need as digging what I have is enough. I will be the lady with too many zucchini😂😂.
Thank you for the feedback! The pruner handle rotates to fit your hand while you squeeze. It reduces stress on your hand and increases comfort when you are doing repeated cutting. I love mine, hope you do as well!

Glad it was helpful! Thanks for letting me know 🥰
This is the best video I have seen on dividing dahlias. I ordered the pruners but not sure about them, why does the handle rotate like that?

In texas can I do what your doing and put them directly back into pots since we have mild winters??
I believe you could as long as they don't freeze!
Very educational. I don’t see the link for the dividing tool you used though. Can you add it?
Added to the description! Thanks for the reminder
