    He is so nice. He understands that the movie’s purpose is to build on themes and capture emotion and isn’t intended to be an accurate recreation of real-life conversations.
    “The movie is about personality, not reality.” Very well said.

    "If Steve Jobs was making movies... this is the quality he would've had."
    That right there - a single line that pierces through all the criticism and equally respects the talents of Sorkin, Boyle, Jobs... beautiful.

      +where are the turtles I did not like the kutcher movie as well. And no. He was consulted before the kutcher script was written. He declined because he was already involved in the Aaron movie and was "busy"(read reserved by a competitor ). Not literal? The Aaron movie had the exclusive rights to the official biography of Steve Jobs. Aaron used that as an opportunity to demonstrate his skill as a writer, while not doing any justice to Steve or why he mattered to the world or why people cared to watch a movie about him. No wonder the movie is a flop, immaterial of how much woz says it's great. If entertainment is what matters, then people will watch the Martian(which is what is happening). If it's not literal then this movie should be called called Pac man, happening in an alternative universe where the was a computer called Pac, similar to mac in the real world.

    Steve Wozniak needs to understand that it's not about what he said to Steve Jobs it's about how he actually felt inside. What the director did wad genius in itself, he gave Wozniak's inner feelings and thoughts a physical presence for the audience. the interviewer here is has not asked the correct questions to Wozniak at all. One question is all that's required "Steve Is this how you felt inside" and the answer I imagine would be a simple Yes. The director conveyed all Wozniak's feelings and beliefs in a few scenes and that's genius

    Shots of actors walking down a hall?
    Yup! That's an Arron Sorkin joint.

    Movies based on real people and events always change things to make it more interesting, if they made it completely accurate it would be boring.

    If you listen to the interview carefully, it is clear Wozniak is stating the Sorkin put a lot of myths in the movie. Wozniak is just excited to be character in a major movie, but he knows it was distortion. Too bad most people will be influenced by this movie and have a distorted perception of Jobs.

    Wozinak is awesome.. such a great seeming guy, and I do believe one aspect of the movie that was accurate is that he was smart enough to want a more open customizable system, like most PC's are today contrary to any Apple computing product.. He should have been part of the Microsoft uprising instead, he would've been able to make more of a difference with his hard viewpoints possibly..

  • @justgivemethetruth
    @justgivemethetruth 8 років тому +2

    It's nice that Woz is so honest and positive, but it really also means that his comments cannot be trusted and are not candid, because as he says he just cannot do that. Like he says he would never say "F- you" to Jobs, and one wonders if he ever stood up for anything or anyone. The movie says he stood up for the Apple II team, but he says he did not. Seems like he has no backbone, and he eats up his real feelings and has blown up into a balloon.

      He specifically said he did not speak to Jobs the way it is portrayed in this movie ... but since I disagree with you I must be an idiot, or maybe you are, or maybe you're just an AH. Don't talk to people like that jerkoff, what's your problem.

    The Wizard of WOZ!! Legendary inventor, builder, designer and one of the greatest minds of this century!! As a lifelong dreamer and inventor and builder WOZ is an icon of a lifetime. I didn't appreciate the way that Steve Jobs (Ashton Kutcher) treated WOZ (Seth Rogen) in the movie BUT I saw through the movie theme BS and it actually introduced the whole world to the real WIZARD OF WOZ!
    Maybe because of my age and watching the movie "The wizard of OZ" as a kid...
    BUT I believe it was my BUILDING, CREATING, INVENTING, lifelong aspirations of innovation that connected my sense of building with the WOZ. Like a "diamond " overlooked in a dirt pile... WOZ is the legendary man "behind the curtains ".... The actual Wizard!
