I made my own bench press and parallel bars so far Think that you've got the most stable squat rack setup out there - seems much more stable than concrete bucket base
Great work! Just what I was looking for (I’m not spending $600+ for a squat rack to only use during the lockdown) Simple, effective and cheap to build for the lockdown. I’m almost finished your squat bench rack👍 fantastic work 👏
Jon William thank you! I agree. I don’t plan on having a home gym permanently so this will go away after the lockdown otherwise I would have bought actual gym equipment
You can place old pillows under the plates to Help the dead’s with no damage the floor and it won’t roll away if your garage isn’t centered .. nice video
I took ur DIY and a 250 DIY video and kinda meshed the ideas together. Instead of a bent brace and wood block I used a 1in drill hole in three positions (flat, incline, squat) and for my “j hooks” I used 3/4in pipe, philange and nut... just a suggestion if u want to add a flat bench spot. I also used a philange and pipe for my pull up bar
But to be clear mine wasn’t 50 bucks cuz I did different stuff but around 100... like u said tho. It’s for the time being. Don’t worry about the haters man. If u were building a permanent rack it wouldn’t be outa wood. People gota understand it’s for the time being
Hey, did you use a pipe, as in a hollow one? what material is it? I'm currently creating a pull up bar and uncertain about the type of bar I'm going for as only pipes are available in my country.. What is the diameter of the pipe you're using?
Proper Valsalva manoeuvre technique is to take in air and keep it in during the entire lift to stabilise the trunk and minimise power leakage (excess movement in your trunk, instead of a rigid transference of force). If it's light, or you doing fast touch-n-go reps, don't need to be too strict with it, but as the weight get closer to your max you don't want to expel air until your press has been locked out.
Is it me or did a million people asked for a list of supplies and measurements from the last video? In this video, he still did not type up a list. lol Free ball it folks.
That’s a great DIY squat rack and bench rack bro. I got a good idea thank you. Also I started a UA-cam channel myself. I will appreciate if you check it out, and give some feed back thank you.

Roman Salem amazon has them gym square floor mats for lifting
Protip, don't use clips if you don't have a spotter, especially for bench. You need to be able to dump the weights.
I built this mines a little shittier looking but it does the job for now. Thank god I can squat again.
Great job on the rack, ignore the people giving hate👍
Excellent job, well done !
Damm bro I felt that squat warmup I hate when I feel that disconnected to your lower body takes me a while before I can get going ..
Great build and great body,is the rack still holding?
I like the slap dance!! Lol

Está Genial tu Rack
Hey, try to breath out while doing the push. Just try it, it may help u a lot. thats what i experienced. :)))
That's the first things realized, don't hold your breathe G you'll build more strength
Prefer to hold breath and keep internal pressure
