What a great riding area you have there. Where you can get there without transporting is so convenient. Trying to get over the stack of trees in the path, LOL. All you need now is a picnic table and a beverage cooler on top of that hill to go with the great view!
Bought a 200EX for me and a 100U for my oldest daughter and they're great. Can't wait to take them off road.
So I’m a teenager and my dad got me a mini bike for Christmas and I had a broke arm, and yea I was dumb riding with a cast but, December 26th I had an accident with my mini bike two days before I got my cast off and I broke the other arm and had to have surgery to get it fixed so now my dads selling my mini bike, but when I’m all healed up I am definitely getting a ct200u, prolly not important just a little story to share 👍

Me and my friends used to ride a blue mini bike. They sold it and we were all mad. That was when I was 10 years old. We used to go off roading as well. That was back in 1990. Memories sweet memories.
I live deep in the mountains of SouthEast Ky. I have 1 of these CT200-EX bikes I bought for kids, but they don't ride it at all. So I started riding it through these mountains and if anybody has been through these mountain trails knows how tough these trails can be even with my wheeler at places is tough and I've taken this little bike up every hill and every trail around here. Some tough little bikes just stock. I will be doing upgrades soon. I did weld me a rear rack and about to add springs to back. Only thing that I don't care for is no rear suspension

Red Beard's Garage I've got a question. The second one came with a Uni header. I gotta say the new isn't broke in yet. But it feels slower than my first one. Zero mods on it.

I live it. I love it. I wish I had somewhere close to ride my minibike. It's so much fun.
You guys need to make some mud flaps for those. I made some for mine after the first time I took it out. Not only will you stay cleaner, it will also prevent mud from getting caked up around the engine. I had to take my pull rope apart and clean it the first time I thrashed mine because it wouldn't retract after the mud dried up, and it still did that after I hosed it off. I haven't had a single problem since, not to mention its 100X easier to clean up afterward. I wish I could post pics on here to show how I did mine. I may throw some up on you FB page.

i have the Red ct200u. Love it. gps says stock, my top speed is 25.88 mph so far.
The Road Speed is fine until you get on long straight stretches. Then it seems slow imho.
If i buy the ct200u-Ex i might mod that one for more Road Speed for sure. torque converter, remove governor, etc.
Pearlie McCann hey if u want a easy way to stop the governor, there is a easy governor bypass and u don’t have to take anything apart, just look up governor bypass on predator and it’s some little kid showing you what to zip tie, I did it and I’m up in the high 30s

Just an FYI, the tap off of the coil on the CT200U-EX that runs the headlight outputs about 6v AC @ idle to about 14v AC @ full throttle. The reason I mention this is I spliced in a brake light on mine(My buddy an I kept running into each other on the trail, lol). You could also use it to run other electrical accessories, or trickle charge a battery that runs other accessories. Love Minibike Mondays

Hey there. I didn't think you and Lonnie would be some place you shouldn't be.... I just noticed the a lot of the larger trees that you had to go around were cut, and not nature deadfalls. Where I grew up there was a nasty old coot who thought the crown land beside him was his private sanctuary , and he used to do stuff like that until the local off-roaders got the RCMP involved.

Im up here in Montana but from Mississippi and looking forward to buying the 600 dollar one and then the red one later on so I can have both of them to. I haven’t had anything like that except a 3 wheeler I dearly miss and once owned and had it when I was like 12 years old back in the 90’s in Mississippi. Use to race around on my cousins GoKart and one of my brothers 4 wheelers at 17 to and now at 36 years old Im going to buy those bikes to have fun in the woods up here in Montana. It’s been a long time since I have rode and had fun on anything ATV wise. I’m long over due to having outdoor fun. Can’t believe these rides are $600 and $500 and I’m 6 foot and weight around 215. So they should ride me around just fine being just stock out the box. Never driven a bike before but I hear its just like a bicycle so it should come natural.
I really like the headlight and the front shocks but for some reason im more attracted to the ct200u. With the red paint and the black racks it reminds me of a Honda Big Red. I wish the ex came in red and black.

on a previous video you mentioned a torque converter. problem was the 5/8" shaft. I swapped the crankshaft in mine. $25.00 and 1 hour labor. used predator crank from eBay. also back your throttle stop screw out to get true WOT. modes needed to torque converter and frame to fit.
With the go power sports cvt it will all be in the kit. No need to swap a crank shaft.
They'll probably use a standard TAV kit and add a 16mm to 3/4 crank adaptor.

Wet but helluva lot more level than the insane 130 year-old abandoned wagon tracks around here (some at 8% sloping ruts with more eroded out rocks than most streambeds) with absurd 1-2,000+ feet altitude gains/drops literally up, over the Continental Divide and repeat. So far my CT200U has gotten me into--and safely OUT of--remote sites with steep canyons tough enough for horseback.
Is the ex as dangerous as the baja ? It was recalled fot tons of problems. Mine seems to have a brake lock up issue. Its scary.

What tire pressure are you running? I experimented quite a bit on my CT200U and ended up at around 6psi rear, 7psi front and it really helps with the bumps. I might even try a little lower. I weigh about 205 lbs.

Can anyone help me plz? my 212cc engine keeps stopping randomly, I can have it going perfectly for 3-4 min then the engine stops. idk why, and I really want to know how to fix it.
Make sure the bowl is clean. Sometimes dirt gets in there and finally floats up and gets stuck in the jet. Then when you shut it off it will float back out.

Hi I just bought a ct200u with a predator 212 engine the issue I'm having is when I start the engine it runs fine,but was soon as I sit on the seat and put weight on it,it moves very slow.need help!

Hey guys, I just bought a CT200U and it seems pretty weak. I weigh about 175 and it has trouble pulling me up a steep hill from a stop. I know it's only 6.5hp but dang... Is that right or should I take it back to Rural King? Only thing I noticed that might be wrong is RK had assembled it and put way too much oil in it...
It's fine. It's not built for speed. It's built for mild trail riding like these guys are doing. It's a push mower engine too so...

I have the red one and if you get any red clay on the tires or the foot rest it becomes super slick like your riding on ice so I carry a small metal brush in my bag it helps a lot. Hope this helps someone out.

Constructive criticism....the GoPro audio is horrible, put some music over top of it during the riding segments so we don't have to listen to it. Yes I could turn down my volume but I don't like listening to silence while I'm watchin' you two guys romp through the woods on minibikes. Cheers!
Well I actually did put music to it but I edit with headphones on so the best sound quality to hear my videos would be with headphones in. I will up the music next time.

How comfortable is the seat on these Coleman bikes for trail rides... compared to a pit bike?
Some technical questions. What grade are the bolts that come with the bike, 2, 5 or 8 ? Possible to upgrade to a higher grade bolt if grade 2 is what comes with the kit ? Possibility of a rubber flap/mud flap extension to the front and rear to keep some of the dirt off of the engine and a persons clothing ? Installation of an hour meter for knowing when to change the oil ? Roughly, about how far on a tank of fuel ? Really nice videos. Enjoyed them greatly !! Thank you for posting them.

Red Beard's Garage I just ordered a ct200u on Amazon and am looking forward to seeing how much better the torque converter is on it. I'll probably order the performance kit with the 18lb valve springs for it as well. You guys should build one of these engines before you put the Predator on it. I will be building mine and would love to have a video guide to help me along the way. Keep up the good videos!

ive watched a lot of mini bike videos but i have to say yours have more of a professional build to them. i subscribed. keep up the fun stuff. i do have questions tho. the coleman ct200u (red) are notorious for having clutches go bad soon after you get them. do the ct200u ex, have the exact save clutch or did coleman use a different more reliable one. i believe thats one of the reasons why walmart clearanced them out of the store.
The first run had the bad clutches. They upgraded them later in the production with better clutch set ups. The new ones actually hold up pretty well. Thanks for subscribing. A lot of good stuff coming up.
The upgraded clutches are 10x better. They used a caged needle bearing in the clutch drum. I would bet the 200U and the EX in this video have identical clutches. Especially if they both have 16mm output shafts.

That's a tough one. First, what size output shaft do you have, 3/4 or 16mm? The only place that I seen that has a 16mm clutch is hotrodminibikes dot com. Otherwise your best bet is to call Coleman and see if they could get you the correct clutch for your bike. If you have a 3/4 output then you should be able to get a clutch anywhere because it is so common. For either it would be 10T 40/41 for the attached sprocket. Some people get tired of messing with the clutch, then give up and install a TAV. I haven't had a problem with the clutch on my Coleman.
