This is pretty awesome. You explained the process really well. I'm new to crocheting and even I could understand the entire process. Thank you so much for this.
perfect clear describtion, thank yo so much, what I'd like to ask to make it taller, should I do more sc after row 15? you do 5 rows sc, so I should do for example 10rows sc? help pleaseee.. thank you..
Hi Melike! (sorry for this late reply!) Yes, you just make more rows with the same number of stitches (without making increases). Exactly, instead of 5 rows you can make more :)
I love the round sort of pattern...any chance you could suggest a round looking pattern over a rectangular shape? For example, I want the round/octogon pattern over my rectangular shaped ottomans. Not exactly sure if that makes sense...?
Well, I love...love...love the design on the pouf in this tutorial with the t-shirt yarn. What I'd like to do is use this same design on my two rectangular ottomans which are 26" X 19" X 10" high. They both have wooden legs - one with post style and the other with Queen Anne style legs. So instead of filling with fiber-fill pilow forms, I'd like to use this design to recover my ottomans. I will try to take a picture and see if I can figure out how to post it
Kelly Smith hi again! (sorry for our late reply) Ok, so you could follow the same progressive directions described from minute 00:40 to minute 08:00 to make the seat part of your stools (make rounds with progressive increases until the seat is covered by your "crocheted circle"). Once the seat is made, then crochet rounds without making increases as we show from minute 08:00 to 08:51 (do it for as many rounds as you want for the height). Finally, proceed with the rounds with decreases. These are as the ones with increases but replacing "incr" by "decr".. Hope this helps...
Such an amazing tutorial. Please tell me the height if your pouf. Cause maybe my yarn is little thinner and I'm. Using a thinner needle too! I want to make exactly the same shape. How do I proceed? I'm on 13th row and it still looks really small
How much the height of this pouf? If I want to do higher, can I do more row without increase and decrease or it will changed the form? Thanks for your answer!
I am trying to order the t shirt yarn and I found lovely material I'd like to you but her skeins of 60 yards only weighs 3.75 oz. Can you help me figure out how much I would need? We were thinking 6 skeins will come to 330 yards but the weight is all off. Can that work anyway? Please respond as I must order this soon. THank you so much
thank you !! i have an othe rquestion ... I think "tuteame" is from México.. maybe you can help me.. how can I buy the yarn what´s the name in spanish of that kind of yarn ??
ohh muchas gracais Faby Santos ... lo he buscado pero en Guatemala con ese nombre pero no lo conoce nadie asi ¬¬ me ven con cara de que estoy hablando !!!
Paola A you can follow the same procedure described in the video. However, instead of crocheting the "bottom circle" of the pouf until the row 14, keep crocheting rows until you get the size of diametre you like. Then, once you have the base of the pouf, continue watching the video from minute 8:00. There is were we start working the height (and if you want it higher, then you just need to crochet more of these rows).
+Evelyne LALENEC bonjour! Sorry, we don't have instructions in French, but here you can find some written directions in Spanish: www.tuteate.com/2013/09/25/teje-un-puff-de-trapillo-a-ganchillo/
Great tutorial. Straight to the point, great speed, and easy pattern!
Thank you Jess for such a positive feedback!! ^_^ So glad to know you like it!
Thanks for sharing this tutorial. It was easy to follow along and I definitely want to make another one
That was one of those most helpful videos I have watched on this kind of stuff.
Thank you!! :) So glad you liked it!
This is pretty awesome. You explained the process really well. I'm new to crocheting and even I could understand the entire process. Thank you so much for this.
Absolutely brilliant. Lovely tutorial, I was seriously relaxed listening to the music too. Thank you. I'll be trying this. Xx
Laura Filby thank you! Let us know if you finally make it ok? :)
Hi Mary! We used 3 bundles of aprox. 100 metres each (about 330 yards in total)
Hi annastazia! If you are using a thinner yarn you could use a smaller hook (the thickness of the yarn determines the size of the hook).
Excellent tutorial and a great use for old pillows! 😊
Thank you Julie Marie! :) It can be crocheted in just one afternoon, for example.
Awesome! I think I will try this! I never thought it can to be so easy! ^w^ Thanks!
This perfect! Exactly what I wanted to see. I only knit, but this will be a good crochet project for me to start with :)
Thank you Paola! Sure it is a good crochet project to start, you will see it is easy (and its result is motivating!). Hope it is useful!
Thank you so much. it is easy to understand
Nice calming music
Love it good explanation👌🏻👌🏻
I love this tutorial! Thank you so much for posting. How long does it take you to make the pouf?

Oum Soulaymi oh! We'd love to see your result! Feel free to send us pictures to info@tuteate.com if you want :)
I love the pouf! Do you know how many yards you ended up needing to make it?
How well would this work if I were to do double crochet instead of single crochets? Love this pattern!!
Niki Mercado hi! Sorry, we haven't tried out with double crochet... Please keep us updated if you do so...
This is awesome
and then what size hook would i need to use? Thank you again.

Hi Kelly! Thanks for your message :) do you have any link or photo example of what you refer? Sorry, we do not fully understand your suggestion

Hi
Can I use ordinary material strips instead of Tshirt yarn. Great tutorial. Thanks.
hansfordsal hi! I guess so... Please keep us updated if you make it :)
How much the height of this pouf? If I want to do higher, can I do more row without increase and decrease or it will changed the form? Thanks for your answer!

Hi there! How is it going? We replied you by e-mail, hope you can work a nice pouf :)
Hi there,
I have the same question...my skeins are 0.5kg, but the length is 100m (same as what they've used here. Will it be ok? Thanks!!
Wow cool :)
:-) Thx!!
I want to do something like this.
Hi! With 3 bundles of 1kg, what is the measurements for this final product? Thanks!
Verdandi hi! Each bundle of 1kg of "trapillo" (T-shirt yarn) has a strip of approx. 100 - 120 meters. So we used 300 - 360 meters here :)
Hello!!! I have a question .
How you join the yarn that is running out with a new?
Andrea Arriola hi! Maybe this could help you: yarnobsession.com/how-to-crochet-changing-yarn-or-adding-a-new-color/
thank you !!
i have an othe rquestion ... I think "tuteame" is from México.. maybe you can help me.. how can I buy the yarn what´s the name in spanish of that kind of yarn ??
thanks a lot.
Wich size is that hook???
What size hook did you use?
Stephanie Brock hi! Here we used a 10mm crochet hook
Belíssimo trabalho👏👏👏🧶🧶
How many yards did you use?
Sherye Sovik hi there! We used about 300meters of T-shirt yarn (3 bundles of 1kg)
What fabric is your t shirt yarn? Would a cotton make equally good looking items?
Where can I buy the t-shirt yarn?
Hi there! In our country t-shirt yarn is called "trapillo" and this is from here: shop.tuteate.com/23-trapillo
Por favor los tutoriales en Español . Gracias

is there no way you can do this on a loom.. i have a big loom i think with 100 pegs?
how big is this pouf?
Hi Paola! 45cm of diameter and 20cm of height (aprox.)
so I guess if I wanted twice as big I can just double all your stitches?
Paola A you can follow the same procedure described in the video. However, instead of crocheting the "bottom circle" of the pouf until the row 14, keep crocheting rows until you get the size of diametre you like. Then, once you have the base of the pouf, continue watching the video from minute 8:00. Tuteate
That's awesome. You have been so helpful, can't wait to start once I get a chance. It's supposed to be a Xmas present :)
Bonjour,avez-vous les explications ou diagramme en français ?
+Evelyne LALENEC bonjour! Sorry, we don't have instructions in French, but here you can find some written directions in Spanish: www.tuteate.com/2013/09/25/teje-un-puff-de-trapillo-a-ganchillo/
Potrei sapere gentilmente le dimensioni diametro ed altezza? Grazie

Ancor meglio è possibile in italiano? Grazie
Is er toevallig iemand die deze werkbeschrijving in het Nederlands heeft???
mirjam Dek hi! No, we don't have this in Dutch, sorry
Tuteate kan dit wel in het Nederlands gemaakt worden? Ik wil echt super graag zo'n poef maken, maar zo gaat me dat niet lukken helaas ...
Didn't work, it looks more like a pillow
