I love this film. No matter what anyone says. I remember getting this on VHS from my dad while I was home sick with an ear infection as a kid. He watched it together with me twice the same day just to cheer me up. Man, what an awesome day that was :)

Older films like this depress me every time they show the price of gas. :(
why? adjusted for inflation over the past decade other than the few times gas has spiked to $3/gal gas has been as cheap or cheaper than the 90's/2000's and cheaper than many times in history that you will see in older films. Just cause a price looks cheaper doesn't mean it is. Not to mention vehicles nowadays get way better gas mileage than cars of that time period.
Well oil was worth less than nothing last I checked.

@Jaqen-HGhar the poster was not commenting on the actual price of gas vs inflation after doing various calculations. Rather it was a visceral reaction to the increasing price of gas.
Oliver, all those guys on UA-cam who just sit in front of a camera and talk about movies just can't compare with you. You clearly know what you're doing, and you make it great "edutainment" too.

My 11th birthday was a rented theater with just me and my friends watching this together. This is the best Jurrassic Park movie of all, and it is certainly tainted by those nostalgic rose colored glasses. Yes it was in 97'

I find this movie entertaining and Spielberg really tried his best at making a sequel but the script had so many problems but I did enjoy the set pieces. I just think Spielberg was trying to get back on his feet with doing a Summer Blockbuster after the emotionally draining experience of Schindler's List. Not to mention the fact, setting up DreamWorks Pictures, Establishing the Shoah Foundation and other things as well.
That would make sense, considering the 4 year gap between Schindler and this. Interestingly, I heard that he himself admitted to losing interest in this movie half-way through production, which... kind of explains a lot.
Loved the arcade game though, and I will never not consider them not putting a Deinosuchus and Carnotaurus in the movie to be anything other than missed potential.
I've never understood the hate for this film, it was nothing compared to the original but it was an enjoyable sequel, very underrated
What is there not to understand? Its got bad writing.
I did see all three movies theatrically. The first is a beloved film for me. I saw it at age 13, which I think was the perfect age to grasp the wonder of it while still being well scared at those tense moments. I saw it again during last year's re-release, and it still holds up beautifully, even on a 75 foot wide, three story tall screen. A purely magical film of wonder and awe, possibly one of the last films of its kind before CGI dominated effects and made everything that was impossible before entirely possible.
The Lost World I do like to an okay extent, but I cannot dispute any of your criticisms. All of those flaws are there, the adoptive daughter being the biggest stinging point of it all. There was no need for her inclusion. The darker shaded music and cinematography are engaging, reflecting the more wild and untamed nature of the story. However, Cundey's work on the first film is exemplary capturing much of the Spielberg magic. Richard Attenborough, as well, brings the warm, child-like wonder and magic to the film which I feel is necessary for this franchise.
The third film is one I've never had much to say about. It is designed to just be a fun, stripped down adventure film, and it does essentially succeed in that. However, it just doesn't have the weight of character or philosophical drama that the series started out with (and even The Lost World still employed at times).
I really loved The Lost World. It is seriously one of my favourite films of all time, and I think contains the majority of my most favourite scenes from the entire trilogy. Please feel free to flame and troll my opinion or discuss rationally and calmly without just resorting to "my opinion is better than your opinion therefore i am right and you are wrong" but here are the reasons why I enjoyed the second film more than the first or third:
The score for The Lost World is the best from the entire series in my opinion. The first film was great of course, and became an instant classic, however the second created a feeling of a grand adventure. Something outside of mans control was happening around them. During the action scenes it set the tones perfectly, although I really do admire the lack of music from the first scene that we are introduced to the T-Rex in the first film (and also this one).
The story and plot were a very good progression for the series. It added canon for spin-offs, further development and other interesting characters to add in. Namely Hammond's nephew and the hunter group. It would have been nice to see some sort of call-back to the shaving cream can from the first film since there was a lingering shot on the can which I believe was only there to establish some sort of sequel bait.
Im not so blind as to not see the flaws from the film. The lack of a strong lead character meant that there was disconnect from the characters. The daughter character was seriously painful to watch. She could not act to save her life (though child actors are generally pretty bad) and the gymnastics scene was just awfully bad. I also didn't like how PP's character just disappeared from the film after San Diego, and I still don't understand what happened to the crew on the ship.
But the film is still entertaining as hell. The whole trailer sequence from the t-rexes showing up until the trailers finally go over the edge was some of the best ever on film and my personal favourite from the entire trilogy. The herd scene and the chase scene are also up there.
Overall, yes this film did lack the graceful subtlety that made the first on a great and a staple of film and cinema history, however the sequel did exactly what any great sequel should do: It up-ed the action, the scope of the film, the action scenes were bigger and better, and it was more exciting too. It not only took the story in a different direction, but also had its own impact and additions to the canon of JP. It was a great example of a sequel done right.
I too think it's a fairly good sequel, even though I feel the first film is much better in terms of story, and characters. I also think the first film is the most thrilling, but The Lost World had it's moments, like the T-Rex tent/waterfall scene, and the raptor sequences. What I enjoy most about The Lost World, is the way it visually distinguished itself from the first. The dinosaurs look even better than before, and the atmosphere is more dark, and gloomy than the first film. Like most sequels I felt that this film tried to be a bit too big, and tried to do too much, which made it feel a bit clunky. Characters like Roland Tembo aren't overly developed, and parts like the San Diego sequence (while cool) are a bit over the top. I still don't understand how the boat crew was killed, as it's shown in the film. It's an entertaining film, with good performances, music, and effects, but it just didn't come together as well as Jurassic Park did in my humble opinion.
deraj nitram im pretty sure that there was meant to be a deleted scene somewhere where the crew are attack by velociraptors before they leave the island but then that scene was scrapped
Darren Leslie I heard that too, but like I said the way the scene plays in the film isn't sensible. One could argue that when the T-Rex woke up it killed most of the crew, but then how was it trapped in the cargo hold? If there were survivors on the ship why didn't they regain control of the ship after the T-Rex was contained? In short it doesn't make much sense. I like the film, and I enjoy the T-Rex boat/San Diego sequence, but a little more effort by the writers as to how it happened would've been nice.

I love the variety of your channel, not only do we have your excellent and always thorough retrospectives. But also the superbly entertaining Lets Play Retro and movie pod cast commentaries. It's a delight to listen to the thoughts of someone who is clearly very passionate about many of the things I too have a deep enthusiasm for. Like yourself I'm a huge Chris Reeve/Superman fan. I actually enjoy The Lost World: Jurassic Park, even though not as much as the first Jurassic Park. I hope you do your retrospective/review for the first Jurassic Park in the future.
The T-Rex running lose in San Diego was the best part. Best gag was the Japanese running from the T-Rex.

This movie gets a bad reputation. Jurassic Park is a once in a lifetime experience, the first will always be the best simply because it was first for many, like myself. But as a follow up to Jurassic Park, it's a solid sequel. It is essentially the same story as the first film: Party A is simply observing the dinosaurs and Party B wants to exploit them for money. But it builds on the first film and feels like a natural progression in the universe they take place. Many site over the top moments as it's downfall but forget the first film had it's fair share of silly events. I enjoyed it as a kid and think it stands up now.

Watched it in the cinema back in 1997 only for the effects, and I wasn't disappointed since they were better and there was much more dino footage than in the first one. Back in the 90's when CGI was developing rapidly the effects were a major selling point for movies. "It has great CGI? Definitely gotta see it!" Kinda hard to imagine nowadays. But back then it was truly magic and novel. "Wow, computers can do that now? What an age we live in!"
Saw this at the movies as a kid. It was awesome. One of those movies you had to experience first hand and not on dvd.. so much fun back then.

There is, in fact, one thing new you CAN do with Dinosaurs; harness them with weapons (lasers) and bring back Dino-Riders. I am honestly in complete bafflement that Hollywood has yet to resurrect such a ripe-for-the-harvesting franchise that hasn't seen an iteration since the late 1980's. It's easy to market, falls in line with the big tent-pole CG hits that the cinema churns out each year, and EXTREMELY easy to merchandise. Hell, the 1980's toys go on e-bay for HUNDREDS of dollars a pop, showcasing the IP's immense sell-ability. Anyhow, I don't know if you recall Dino Riders, or if they were even around on "your side of the pond", but I think you can agree that warring factions that utilize dinosaurs like tanks by equipping them with various sci-fi weaponry would make for an incredible cinematic adventure. :)
Peter Postlethwaite's character is definitely a highlight of the film. I think they got a little too on the nose with the environmental message of the movie. It was more subtle in the original. I also find TLW to be kind of mean-spirited compared to the original's more theme park adventure feel, especially with the massive death toll compared to the only five confirmed deaths in the original, half of which we didn't even see.
I don't know but i felt JG's character was even better in the sequel .
Sardonic, sarcastic and droll , he was given more to work with in the sequel and i felt he was compelling . He fashioned a 3d dimensional character where only a 2 dimensional one should have existed in the hands of a lesser actor .
I also enjoyed most of the other major players also, save for a few minor ones who were simply there for dino fodder .
I wouldn't say JP2 is a better film overall than the original but it's way more fun, suspenseful and it has an undeniable sense of adventure flowing through it's Dna . Of course it helps that it didn't have to establish the world like the first one did . Ah freak it, JP 2 is the better film, it expanded the world that was created and improved every aspect of it .
It's flawed no doubt but i consider it to be a masterpiece of sight and sound .
Still get chills when they are perched up in the high hide and you hear the roar of the T Rex with the subsequent shot of the trees being disturbed .( it's a fanboy King Kong remake moment of sorts )

I remember as a kid I mowed lawns in 1997. With my first 60 dollars I bought this and men in black on vhs. Money well spent.
The Lost World is my favourite of the original trilogy. It's darker in tone, the actions scenes, set pieces and cgi/practical effects are fantastic, the deaths are more brutal and Ian Malcolm has undergone a massive change in personality after witnessing first hand what these creatures can do. No one really took him seriously in the first film because something like this had never happened. In The Lost World we learn he has been silenced by greedy company executives after he tried to speak out because he finally had proof of all of his chaos theories. He's written off by almost everyone as a hysterical, preaching liar and after 4 years is a broken man. He's goes to island against his better nature to rescue his girlfriend and in the end he doesn't do a grand I told you so moment, he just sit's back and acknowledges that the world knows the truth and can move on.
This was Jeff Goldblum and Julianne Moore's film as it was for Sam Neil, Laura Dern in the first film. I know most people will strongly disagree with me and yes the scenes with his daughter should have been written better or maybe not at all, but in the end it's all about what you enjoy and for me this film is my No. 1 of the franchise , followed very closely by Jurassic Park.
I actually like JP The Lost World a lot. In my opinion it is way better than 3 or JW. Yeah it does have its flaws, but so does the first one and especially 3. I do understand why Jeff Goldblums character was now different then he was in first movie, because he after that experience from before he doesn't want to be anywhere near the dinosaurs is always cautious about the dangers. The others are not cautious that much because they haven't seen the dangers of being around the animals like he has. I did like the city scene because it gave the audience a "what if" moment of a Dinosaur being put in our world.
No one could ever convince me that this wasn't a great sequel.

when I watched this in the cinema as a kid I remember being bored out of my mind... until the San-Diego Dino rampage, but yea I didn't care for the rest of the film unlike the first one (during which I was so young I hid under the chair everytime the T-Rex appeared lol) which I really enjoyed it just didn't do anything for me and I did find the third film (with the exception of its ending just far more enjoyable).

Thanks for another great video Oliver. You really summarized how I feel about it. Though even when I saw it in the theaters, I was bothered by the fact that the guys on the boat that's carrying the T-Rex were killed, one's arm was left holding on to the ships wheel. It couldn't have been the T-Rex, and it was never explained. At the time, I thought some Raptors got on board and went to town, but I guess there will never be a real explanation, bad screenwriting for sure.

Its good but it has too many annoying mostly minor flaws that hold it back. (it does have amazing action and set pieces however). Its why many prefer JP3 as most of the annoyances are gone.

My high school was directly across the street from the back side of Universal Studios Orlando where they built the Jurassic Park ride.
It was so awesome hearing dinosaur screeches and roars between classes.
What’s wild is that just recently it was put forward that T. rex probably had the STRONGEST nose ever. Period. Orders of magnitude stronger than a blood hound. T. Rex probably didn’t even need blood to track you. It could smell you just from you existing.
I just read online a few weeks ago they think a T Rex could smell up to 3 miles away ! That’s insane there is no hiding from that

Not one of Spielberg's best movies but man that trailer sequence has to be one of his most thrilling! It's the highlight of the film for me and shows what Spielberg does best.
Jurassic Park is clearly the superior film, but I always enjoyed watching Lost World more
I loved this film as a pre-teen. However, as an adult, while I still find it an enjoyable romp, the main issue I notice having read the book is that everything from that novel that eventually made its way into the film only did so because the film's financial backers saw the opportunity to make a toy out of it. The trailer, the Mercedes SUVs (Don't know how you get those from a Ford Explorer but I digress), the guns, the dino-trapper trucks, the High Hide, everything just screams "BUY OUR TOYS!!!" It really makes the movie difficult to watch as an adult unless I am by myself. It's just obvious enough to be embarrassing. :D
Why did Michael Crichton HAVE to write another book? Why would that step in the way of a sequel getting made?
I assume so the filmmakers could have something to work with and not have to create their own story.

Stunning review, Ollie, excellent editing and musical placement as usual (especially at the end), great insights on the making-of process and fair criticism where it was deserved, light-years ahead of Doug Walker's review from 2011, that one was brutal! This one was much more satisfying despite the conclusion.
I'm afraid I am going to be that guy who really dislikes Jurassic Park III when compared to The Lost World, as it screwed with the JP continuity and characters, gave the T-Rex a rubbish death and just felt less engaging, it has its good moments but not enough to hold it up. Maybe if I didn't have the bias of childhood I'd agree with you to a greater extent. I think if they had brought back Sam Neill and hired a co-writer to work of Koepp's ideas and script, the film may have been more solid.
But thank you for giving The Lost World a fair chance, and for the special mention near the end. As for Jurassic World, well lets hope that "Life will find a way".

Oliver, I personally think "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" is EQUALLY as good as its 1993 predecessor, I'm serious. Every element that I love in the first "Jurassic Park" is in this sequel (for me, at least).
I love this film so much. It’s not as good as the first but it’s close in my opinion. It does it’s own thing and expands.
The Lost World has a decent two act structure going for it. Unfortunately it starts to fall apart by the last act. The San Diego finale is okay (for what it is). It is a creative concept bringing the Dinosaurs to the main island, but it also feels so tonally different from the rest of the film... It kinda falls a little on its face.
I think it's a more than fair sequel, though. There still is a sense of wonder to the Dinosaurs and Isla Sorna, which is great. But our protagonists aren't as fleshed out as we would like, and they create more problems than solve them.
I like the different Ian Malcolm here. His PTSD is interesting. It could have been explored more-- adding more emotional investment into this rescue mission.
There's a lot of potential here, and sometimes it hits and sometimes it didn't. Still a decent watch, regardless.

Lost World at least progressed the story from the first movie, JP 3 did no such thing, it's just a movie about a dumb kid who parasails next to the island and he has to get rescued.

Please don't waste a lot of time flaming my opinions here, I already know I am in a vast minority RE my movie tastes, LOL...
JP3 achieved EXACTLY what it set out to do....be a massive exciting, summer, minster, blockbuster! Now, I certainly don't look down on JP2 as much as others, but a great humane, cautionary tale, message it was not :(
I still like it, but it tried TOO hard to shove that message in your face (unlike the much more subtle Jurassic Park) and that gave it a cold, robotic, embarrassingly cheesy sense about it.
Remember, I still think it's a very good (not great) film. Pete Postlethwaite made probably half the film, the parts that weren't focused on the showy effects, more than worth the ticket price. He is GREAT in the film :)
JP3 was dino sized turd that insulted the intelligence of every movie goer that watched it. Funny and memorable huh? Yeah a random dinosaur who never gets satisfied with killing anything but humans is real memorable. The only humorous parts were unintentionally done. The characters were all stupid as hell and you hated everything about them, so I fail to see how any action scene with them would be exciting. It's a trashy B grade monster film that also shits on the canon of the franchise. Grant would've never been able to confuse the raptors with that bone because
1. He simply used the bone by itself, not taking into consideration countless other sounds the raptors would've projected from their own heads, i.e. noises set at different sound frequencies.
2. The bone grant used belonged to a raptor that was VASTLY genetically different to ones in that scene. The JP dinosaurs are genetically altered mutations who are far beyond their mesozoic counterparts, so in order for that to work, Grant would've had to not only know exactly how it sounds when used by a raptor itself, but ALSO would need to use a bone that WASN'T 65 million years old, and the way that the scene played out meet NEITHER of those parameters. There are countless other plot holes and stupid shit like that, but that's the one that comes to mind, you are all entitled to your opinions, but I think JP3 sucks big time, and I've presented my argument as to why I think so.
fwwaller You must have not read my comment properly nor understood it :) I never even insinuated JP3 was ANYTHING more than a big budget, summer blockbuster, monster movie. It was very silly, not very scientifically accurate, some of the characters did stupid things and so on, but it knew it was doing this. JP2 was a poor shadow of Jurassic Park (which had FANTASTIC messages about human's playing God) that had the MOST obvious typical Spielberg cheesy moments & character traits & personalities. Some of the lines made audience members cringe, when I was in the cinema. The black girl (doing a gymnastic kick on the raptor WTF?), Goldblum's girlfriend, Vince Vaughn's character, the bald tech guy, the guy who gets killed buy Compi's (death by Compi WTF?), the idiot scared of snakes who leaves the safety of the cave to get eaten by the T-Rex (again WTF?). The ONLY believable or intelligent character was Pete Postlethwaite, the only other watchable character was John Hammond's nephew. JP3 IS silly, even by my admission, but at least it set out what it achieved to do. I can't say the same for JP2 :(
I enjoyed all the JP films so far, but only the first film for me personally has really been able to stand the test of time. I too think The Lost World is a decent, and sensible follow up to the first, but the execution of it all is a bit of a mess. The visual look, and effects are gorgeous, but the narrative is weaker, and the characters (while fun) are bit bland.

If the movie ended after Pete Postlethewaite captures the T-Rex and the main characters get flown off the island, I would say this film is quite good. However I actually think the whole San Diego third act is an absolute departure from the world and tone the other films created.

Jurassic Park 3 is good just a really rushed 1st and 2nd acts as it had a really poor 3rd act should’ve had another 30-40 minutes added would have made a better movie

On a side-note: The two SUVs used were preproduction Mercedes ML.
Years later Mercedes wanted to use the dress-up bits (none of the cars survived) to turn a production-model ML into a replica for their museum, and found out that none of the parts fit due to tiny changes before production started.

One of the most important aspects of the book was also the theme of "extinction", which was like zero in the movie but gave the book an extreme depth - so much actually, it felt not REALLY like a sequel, but more like its own thing. (which it was, but you get me)
Not only the dinosurs had a sickness in the book, but they also showed how the upcoming generation of dinosaurs had like a strange behavior (the raptors) - which would led to their utlimate downfall. absolutely deep stuff, where a movie could had made so much more profit
I never understand how they can spend all that money on a movie and still have a bad script. I fully agree with this video's analysis 100%. What is so odd is that with all the talent involved, especially Spielberg and Crichton, how they could end up with such bad writing and characters is beyond my comprehension. Crichton is such a master storyteller and Spielberg is the greatest director in history. And not to forget the greatest movie composer of all time, John Williams too!
I think there may be more to the story here. How could such a dream team fail? It wasn't a terrible flick, but it was definitely a missed opportunity. Can it really just be that they were rushed in some way? If so, what a shame they didn't have a little more time to work on the script...and not cast Malcom's daughter, such a terrible inclusion! With a better script and dialogue maybe even she would have worked, but it's a pity.
Well, the book ended with them firebombing the island, with only a vague hint that some of the animals escaped the island from a boat beforehand, which could've led to a more interesting and organic sequel, but mostly because Crichton DID NOT want there to be a sequel to Jurassic Park. Then the movie made money, and he was essentially strongarmed into making one. And rather than following the plot hook of raptors on the mainland, he went with "another island of dinosaurs." And instead of having three years between the release of the book to film like the first, the second had two years, and from what I've heard only roughly followed the general idea of "a second island."
Plus, Spielberg lost interest halfway through and made very little secret about it. Essentially, this movie was way more of a cashgrab than people would like to admit, whilst also being better (if not by much) than what that usually entails.
As a child I enjoyed this film more than the original, but now it is a very close second. I really loved the game on PlayStation, playing as the Velociraptor was so much fun
BTW, have you played the game by Teltalle released on Xbox 360 and PS3? if so how do you feel about it?
As I'm from Sweden, I really loved that fellow Swede Peter Stormare's character Dieter Stark swore in Swedish during the Compsognathus attacking him scene: : "Helvetes jävla helvete!". (Damn/dammit, fucking/bloody damn/dammit.)
Guilty pleasure is correct, but I still love (or at least enjoy) this movie. Mostly from nostalgia, it was one of the first DVDs I ever owned and the first movie where I watched the bonus features and the making of. I might even like it more than Jurassic World, although that's probably the nostalgia talking. In the end it boils down to dumb fun, a movie to watch because it's comfortable (and now I'm reflecting on the fact I find a thriller comfortable).
I find it funny that Peter Ludlow makes that comment about how "you don't bring people halfway around the world just to visit a zoo." Well ironically, THAT is just what people do in "Jurassic World." 😄
Kellys line about asking to be grounded, to me, felt like her either sarcastically or sincerely expressing a want for a more "normal" relationship with her Dad since she notes she barely gets to see him anymore
For the longest time, I liked this one more than the original. That was mostly due to the fact that the original one scared me too much. This is one I could watch without getting too scared

also, did you notice how overblown the contrast was in the night scenes? I tried to get the bluray looking soft and natural, and it was NOT happening.
Another on point retro sir.. I loved the Mad Max 2 one though..This movie was a let down in many ways, but it's visual and sound design were almost flawless..Love the shot of the InGen team Vehicles sheep herding the various Dinosaurs and the Brachiasoars Intersecting from the side..Wide angle jaw dropping..The shot of the Mega R.V. drop off the cliff with everyone on the rope was creative. The scene that was my personal fave though was the ship yard sequence..I went to the bathroom and I kinda didn't know what it was that was approaching mainly not seeing they were on the dock..It was just a great surprise and ten tomes scarier than any of the Dinosaurs in the movie. Spielberg 's worst film next to 1941 IMO. 3 was better the moment Grant kicks the Pteradaun in the face in the bird cage..So hilarious yet awesome at the same time. Keep up the good work sir..You are one of my favorite youtube personalities and your talent for editing /analysis is better with every upload..
Once you're seen one angry Dino, you've seen them all! Sums the francise up for me. The 1993 movie was groundbreaking. The follow-ups largely going over the same old ground.
Loved the original, but hated this sequel. Upon seeing the little girl kick a raptor through a window, with her little feet, I walked out in disgust. I mean here you have professional hunters being torn to pieces by these monsters. And now this kid is kicking ass because of her gymnastics? In reality, that raptor would have torn her leg right off. Just one of many more reasons I never came back to this film ever again.

I would agree with your review. The action and the special effects are better but the first one had a better story.

Regarding video game adaptions of The Lost World, do you recall Chaos Island, an RTS for the PC?
It's a great film, it was just never going to be a masterpiece like it's predecessor. I'm just annoyed they didn't use Dodgson as the main villain like in the book, since that would create a nice piece of continuity instead of inventing new character Peter Ludlow.
I over gasped at the JP3 being better than JP2 comment. I was forced to seek medical attention.

I can remember seeing this film at the old Route 9 movie theater in Queensbury, New York (which I believe has been demolished since), with my friend John Mero. I enjoyed it fairly well, while John dozed off halfway through. Spielberg had the second and third biggest box office hits that year (1997) with Men in Black, and The Lost World, respectively - I believe that he netted about $350,000,000 from those two movies alone. When I worked on the Universal Studios Hollywood backlot in the late 1990's, I would walk around the set from this film, after park hours were over.

Saw it in theaters when I was a kid. Had a blast watching it despite no Allen Grant. The raptors chasing the group in the long grass was very exciting. Haven’t watched it since then really but as a kid movie it was great.

I know this isn't about the games but you missed the best one and my personal favorite game based on the franchise which is the RTS like PC version. You create dinosaurs and can control them and the team and play through scenarios of the story. It's a lot like Age of Empires on a smaller scale. It's obscure but it has the original cast and great gameplay. Anyways, good review. I don't love this movie but your vids are always interesting.
A great sequel would be to focus on different characters at the park during the first film. Or the idea of the embryo container being retrieved. Jurassic world was terrible and so was fallen kingdom. 3 was mostly pretty bad but had some ok moments. The Lost World I think is the best sequel but I think it’s reasonable to argue that Jurassic Park never really needed a sequel.
I quitte like this movie, its a bit darker, and there is more sense of danger then Jurassic world or Park, oh and the death of Eddie, (the 2 Rexes split him in 2 ) was a brutal death.. , sure there were some bad stuff (Julianne,s character.. mostly)

Great film on it's own ,the second half is my favourite . True Dr Grant would have been Better.But I feel he should have been along side Jeff's Character Malcolm, in this story.
