Probably I´m going to check that site and see another option with the HJC RPHA 71. Once again thanks.

So, it may be possible to get what you want but would take some money and a little time. Also, comments make a huge difference for me so THANK YOU!
Hi, I'm from Spain. In my country there is the possibility of buying the new helmet in a physical store or online and paying €100 to have it sent to France and they will put a double D closure and send it back to Spain. Apparently France is where shoei has a factory or where they make this type of changes where they guarantee safety and compliance with all safety regulations. Sorry if it's late to tell you this, you probably already bought the helmet. I don't know if you can do this in the US.
I have the GT-AIR 2 and I'm not happy with the wind noise even with the chin curtain installed. I noticed the visor on the GT AIR 2 does not fully seat on to the gasket seal when closed no matter how much I adjusted the alignment. My question is does the GT-AIR 3's visor seal against the gasket when fully closed?
I'm looking now and it looks like a seal all the way around. Have you checked at thw store to see if all the gt air 2 have the imperfect seal like yours? Might just need a new visor.
I have the version 1 of the GT-Air too and what is your opinion about upgrading to version 3? Is it really worth it? The version 3 doesn't look as nimble as the version 1 in your video when you look from the front. Is it the case or are these helmets different sizes?
Ya its a wider helmet for sure I'm having a hard time differentiating if its truly better or if mine was just old and worn enough inside to trick me into liking this one lol I also think they did some cool stuff with that extra width turning it into aerodynamic pieces. I may try them back to back tomorrow and report back. I'd say if you helmet works and you're happy the money probably isn't worth it unless you have more reasons contributing to you needing to make the switch.
@@admireinspire Thanks for your honesty. A back to back comparison would be great. I don't really need to switch, because I bought the GT-Air 1 just last year and it only has a year of use on it obviously so no real need to switch. I would have to pay 749€ for the one I would buy but that seems really excessive... If the new one doesn't offer a great bit of advantage, I guess the 749€ are wasted. The only reason I thought to switch was because I wanted to buy the new Cardo Packtalk Edge and it has 40mm headphones. The GT-Air 1 can't accommodate such big speakers, the cut outs are too small. For the Sena SMH5 which I have installed currently has smaller speakers which I needed to buy extra. I couldn't find smaller speakers for the Cardo.

Also if you have an affiliate link let me know, if I end up buying the helmet, would love if you got the credit for the sale.
