The truck driver and the coffee cop disliked.
Evan Monroe I know right. Maintain the position and try to live. There was no need to try and Wild West it with an automatic rifle aimed at your heart. Truck driver could’ve armed himself and positioned accordingly and held them up in a small engagement. Who knows mightve been enough for a distraction for the coffee cop to then draw and fire.
@@henrylangan180 There was no maintain your position and live. These guys are former MARSOC Marines. they had every detail planned out. The guards never stood a chance. they were outnumbered and were met with superior firepower by men with superior training and body armor. it's only money. If they pulled any shit, they were dead.
eotech XPS...thats how you know they came to play
love both mine :D
3:08 love the mag change!
Shit was unbelievably smooth 🤣
typical moron. All full auto does is miss/waste ammo, make a lot of noise and render your gun EMPTY for 3 seconds or so while you swap mags. It's stupid.
Those muzzle flashes is SOOO amazing!!!
Hot Damn I love fully auto machine guns in this scene.
Eloy Martinez one of the rifles used in this clip, is a HK416. Merrimans rifle. One of the most best out there 👌🏼
2:53 action movies need more scenes like this

Yeah very nice shot
Such an awesome movie. Fairly realistic too.
This movie should've been called Grand Theft Auto
Lmao facts
3:06 The full-auto, the mag change & right back to full-auto. Beautiful! 👌🏻🔥
says a moron who does'nt have a clue. All that MISSING is wasting time and ammo.
this one of the best opening scenes in movie history imo
Yeah I remember seeing this in theaters and everyone was just like holy shit
They immediately called distance and direction absolute class
The 4 dislikes are the 2 cops and 2 guards that got smoked, what a coincidence lmfao
0:15 "Armor piercing rounds are chambered in this firearm. Please don't be the a#$hole that forces me to use it!"
That is one hard-ass line, I love this quick snippet.
Suppressive fire with the intent to kill, admiration and respect to those that retaliate, assume the skill is better then yours, but always maintain intensity of the operation, loss of intimidation results in loss of life, be stern, be vigilant, and don’t be a hero. BattleBAE
This movie had its flaws as every movie does. But what they got right in spades was the shoot out scenes. The sound of the gun fire the shell casings. The reloading. A+
Especially when you can hear the shells bounce off the hood of the car
This movie is the new version of HEAT. Its great.
It's a knock off of HEAT, but I still liked it.
3:07 Exactly, how I play Rainbow Six Siege as soon as I encounter first threat.
Someone asked me what is one of my favorite movies as of late ? Should of told them this jam has moved into my top 10 this is badass bro
I fell in love with the HK416 when I saw this I even went on to replicate the attachments when I played Ghost Recon Wildlands and Breakpoint
Merrimen had a tracer round when firing at the end, if you look closely it’s red.the round is meant to alarm him the last few bullets before running out. Hence why he was prepared to reload in a instant
Wow nice find, and goes to show how detailed the producers were with the scene!
Eotech commercial :) Great weapons handling and tac reloads by merriman
If I was the security
I would just lay on the floor
At this point, there’s nothing I can do except survive
Would have dropped the coffee and donuts and hands on my head as well. If they wanted to kill me, they would have. They're not here for my life.
The money is insured, nobody needs to die over it. No need to try and be a hero, especially when it's some dude with a rifle who's got it pointed at your chest and CLEARLY knows what he's doing
0:23 that's a awesome zoom in shot damnnnn
I like how one of them called out the direction where the police is coming from and the range of the cops. it shows how well trained these guys got in the military
The camera-angle @ 2:54 is so amazing
This film was very well thought out. Details. The dialogue. I wonder if it's been reviewed by any ex-military. Odd...seems to be an underrated film. Gun people usually just talk about Sicario or Heat. Collateral.
I have to disagree. Like why the hell does merrimen get mad at Bosco for this whole shootout? That was really dumb
@@TzUuup during the shootout? he wasn't mad at Bosco, he was mad at the fact that one of their guys ended up getting killed by a freaking cop then that's when he started laying bullets everywhere
@@OneEyedGhoulX777 yeah but he blames Bosco when they were cleaning up back at the wharehouse. Like it was boscos fault that they had a shootout
So patrolmen have ARs in their squad car? 😅😅😅😅😅
I just love that, “CONTACT RIGHT!!!”
Really makes the movie, the whole point is that are retired special forces vets. Making those calls like "suppressive fire" or "contact right" makes it so much cooler.
This is how you start a movie! had me locked In the whole time
Another cool detail, these guys are hiding behind the engine block, which from what i´ve heard, is the best and only way how to hide behind a vehicle from bullets, since they cant go through. This scene has so many amazing details, i love it.
3:04 watch the cop vanish into thin air
Great eye!
Some of the best sounds in a film
They get close but still not as good as HEAT
@@hinds90 true
Militarily accurate, real contact protocol announcing incoming targets and range, actually run out of rounds, actually move in a tactical way according to shooting patterns. The details make this so much more intense.
If you loved this movie then I highly recommend watching HEAT extremely realistic
This has to be the best action movie of all time😭
that mag dump and reload gives me wood
30 sec out by the sentry was so spot on. The cops arrive just in 30 seconds, most movies get this so wrong with over dramatics.
Addon 5-10 minutes and it will be really spot on
Still watching in 2019??
Maybe
I will say this movie and HEAT are the best Crime movies of all time, It's a shame this movie is so underrated
The town is pretty damn good too
Best intro of all time! 🔥🔥
For a film? Very well done.
What makes this movie so much more badass is they’re former special operations and the movie gets its right
Nothing compared to H E A T I love that reload at 3:09 tho
Excellent movie. Great shoot out scenes. One can't help thinking definitely inspired by that other outstanding film Heat.
That Saiga 12 looking nice
Plot twist: Donnie Tricked Merriman and his crew and was living in London
so . .. . another version of HEAT! Great
PREPARE TO ENGAGE

CONTACT!!
I like how accurate this film is. Cops are often taught to get behind the bulk of their car when outgunned and await reinforcements but in this situation it doesn't matter because they're using armor piercing rounds which will go through the door of most vehicles.
Regular old rifle rounds will go through most car doors, AP rounds or otherwise.
I like the way he shifts his Rifle to a different hold 1:44 👍
My shoulder hurts from watching this 😂😭
I was watching Heat from 1995 yesterday and this scene resembles a lot like the robbery scene from that movie
One of the best Gunfight dynamic scenes ive ever seen
That reload though
That’s a nice Heat tribute
This scene is either an homage to Heat or a really bold ripoff. The first minute is basically a remake of the opening armored car heist.
Best movie ever released 😎
I love how Merrimen doesn’t flag the cameraman at 3:00. What a guy! I would’ve been sweeping the whole cast and crew
Best shootout of all time
This video syncs perfectly to Razormind from the Payday soundtrack. Just start both at the same time.
Being military when I first watched this movie I recognized the ADDRAC
Incase you want to know, this scene was filmed in Hapeville GA. Do what you want with the info.
This is why I’ve always said America should be happy it’s soldiers don’t turn on them
The great thing about this movie is the guns firing real blanks so it isn’t just some cgi. Plus the gun handling really shows from the police barely being able to handle the guns because they don’t use them much to the robbers having excellent control where they were marsoc raiders.
" All Units, All Units We Have a 187 In Progress "
Everyone when they get Two stars 1:52
I like how at 2:35 you can see the Arterial blood spray from the robbers gunshot wound.
Great sound.
Imagine working a night shift selling doughnuts and all the sudden firefight of the century breaks out. Glad the clerk didn`t walk out the door to see what`s going on.
Dan of thieves is a great movie!
A movie scene. Periodt
Daniel defense mk18's, noveske flaming pigs, saiga 12's , g18 or g17converted micro roni's.
Thats some sexy-ass gear right there.
Its like watching a bunch of LEMs play against some Novascrubs. They got dunked on.
And as a firearms expert professional. I say with high-confidence the directors did their homework.
No.2 shootout scene of all time based on realism. In my opinion
Your No.1 out of curiosity?
