I agree that for most of us, it would not be a good knife for processing what we hunt.
But an Inuit hunter friend of mine would like those blades for what he hunts. The large fatty sea/land creature he process, requires that type of blade.
@@Thomas-dz4eg thank you for the feedback!
I would like to get a Northern Hunter I think I would prefer that compared to my small Northern hunter. LOL
@@fuelediowa Email me if you want to come to some kind of deal. Thanks for the comment as always. sharpends4279 at gmail dot com
I wonder how the small version would do for small game 🤔
An experienced hunter doesn’t need a large knife. That being said there’s no reason why he might not want one, mostly it personal preference.
Yep. Small knife and bring it where you have a fillet/boning to make your pieces
Nice looking blades. But for any blade that's going to get blood, guts, salt water, etc I prefer removable scales. Even on stainless steels I want to be able to clean and disinfect the blade.
@@npenick66 that's a great great point. Thank you for the comment! This is why I love this community.
Oh it would definitely be a great big game knife. It’s a skinner
Your monthly giveaway video didn’t work for some reason
Skinners have a different shape, like victorinox beef skinner
Still have the large northern hunter?
@@alexvldz7 no I sold it, still have the extra large though
