I got an email notification from The Knife Connection telling me some of LT's had dropped, namely Pronghorns in 3V for $129. Aaaaand, one in double-red and Scandi is headed my way. I can't wait to meet him. I EDC a Next Gen and love it but am hoping this'll make a nice neck knife. Thanks for the great video.

Just got mine in 3V and snakeskin scales, LOVE IT! Just smitten with the simplicity of the design! For a small knife, it performs off the charts!

Glad I found this table top. I remember watching this already. I was going to buy this but couldn’t find it available anywhere and ended up getting something else. This is still on my list when I can find one.

I like this knife its really cool looking esp that upsweep on the belly that really throws wood with back cuts. BUT I think I would like the handle and grind on Tanimboka Puukko by Tops .
I'm looking for a small edc fixed blade. ...The Condor MAYFLOWER is another one I'm considering but steel wise ..ho-hum. 😉

Agreed on the steel of the mayflower for sure

What is your issue with Condor steel ? Their 1075 is really well done and holds up really well .

@daveandmerlin I've owned a ton of condors in 1075 and the steel is too soft. They work fine but on scandi grinds it's just a constant chor keeping them true. After I finally purchased a couple high end blades I have no need for using 1075 blades.
This is not a snob thing. Condor has some really awesome knives now esp their 1095 Bushlore Black ....I just waisted way too much money on budget blades chasing after the ones I really wanted . I should have bought a Tops and Benchmade years ago I would have saved a couple grand.

@@Airik1111bibles fairplay mate your right a Scandi grind and make for a to fine a edge ....I've got a 1075 Bushlore and to be fair I rolled the edge a little when I accidentally struck a rock when making Feathers but apart from that I've only sharpened a couple of times and I use it every couple of days . I've got a Condor Warlock , Pack Golok which I use instead of an Axe for splitting Logs and honestly the Warlock in particular I haven't had to really much to the edge in months ! You are right about a Scandi edge though and I think it does require a hard steel purely by the design of it .

Really nice review! Why do you think Joker Avispa's sheath is horrible? I have Avispa on my wish list and also because of the leather sheath which I like...! Thanks

And our thoughts on Joker Avispa? (vs Pronghorn..) Which would you prefer and why? Thanks!

That sheath style is very prone to getting cut when drawing the knife, hard to explain but it's the design. Aside from that decent knife! Check out my review on my B channel North Knives for more!

@@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan You mean cutting the sheath or yourself? And your preference? (sorry I didnt find this channel..) Thanks..

@@peetrnos cutting the sheath fold. I prefer the LT Wright, but I like the Avispa that I made it a shop knife for projects, and I use it often. The joker scales got a little loose sadly

@@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan OK. It would be nice (Avispa) in flat grind with these nut scales..so I even thought about sanding it from scandi to flat or at least high kovex... but with home remedies and no experience it's probably not realistic and it would be a terrible job. Thanks for reply.
