I am also a die-hard Iron Maiden fan; but which Metal band can offer 4 consecutive studio albums with not 1 weak or bad song amongst them. I do not know any. Not even Maiden. The theme song to the new anime series VLADLOVE. Who said you can't have guitar solos in an Anime Theme?? Well LB proves they can't do anything unless it is flawless perfection. The anime is so-so but the theme is awesome. This was just one big shred fest and Midori led the charge as only she can, can't wait to experience this LIVE. I only hope my face is ready for it!!! The individual solos before harmonizing were a perfect setup for the dual solo. The screeching was perfect. This song is controlled chaos at its finest.
This song was written by Asami (with collaboration with Mao). It’s the most insane, bonkers song they have done so far and it was written by a member that was completely ignorant about metal music 5 years ago. It’s insane. Imagine what a musical genius she must be to understand so completely and thoroughly an unknown to her genre and dominating so hard singing and composing and writing lyrics for it. Between 4 other incredible geniuses and fantastic talented ladies. I truly think that LOVEBITES is a revelation, a true revolution in metal. Everything they do is utter perfection to a degree only very few bands have done in the past. I mean, even Dream Theater have released mediocre work at times. But Lovebites, only from great to masterpieces, with songs from different genres within metal ( thrash, power, heavy rock, classic metal, nwobhm etc). Midori's ESP Arrow has a special place in my heart since I play one too, just a different color and certainly with inferior hardware. The A version EP of Glory, Glory to the World has a DVD with this video and a second video on it, the unreleased non-Vlad Love version. It also has the video for "Glory to the World" on it as well, but I quite curious about that unreleased video. Not curious enough to have it imported from Japan, but maybe someone else will eventually. I'm sure it's more of the band playing in the red/black and black/white warehouse place, but it would still be nice to see.
Yes the other version is focused on the ladies (and especially the red-eyed Asami :-) ). That's why I prefer the unreleased version = more of Lovebites and less anime :-D

I don't think Midori has ever had more fun than on this song with all the squeals, pinches, and stuff she get to pull off. And the discordant notes in the solos were, IMO intentional, not unlike the ones that Kanami (Band Maid) puts in their song Rinne and a few others. Fit the theme of the song and video (this song being written to be the intro of the anime Vladlove you saw in the video)
Discovered these ladies in a roundabout way. I haven't enjoyed new music since the mid 90's. About a year ago, I was looking at Kiss cover videos. That lead me to Nemophila, OMFG I loved all their covers and original songs. That lead me to Band-Maid, then they lead me to Lovebites. OMG the talent level from the 3 of them is insane. All 3 bands clearly enjoy what they do and being together. Which you cannot say about so many of the big-name bands. These 3 bands got me to enjoy new music again. All 15 ladies from these 3 bands got the look, have the talent. And they all make it look insanely easy. Imagine of all 3 of these bands are on the same bill. Holy Crap. I would defiantly spend the money to see all 3 of them live, as close to the front as possible.

This song takes a few plays to digest everything that is going on. If you hadnt already figured it out the girls use a whammy pedal for their leads. The insane guitar work is off the charts in this song.
I've said it many times, while their music videos are good, any and every live track outside of Bloodstock(bad mix) and fan phone stuff is better than any of their official music videos.
I have said many times before to each their own taste, and I still say that everything they do whether audio, MV, or live it is all amazing as it is Lovebites there is no disinction

This song takes a few plays to digest everything that is going on. If you hadnt already figured it out the girls use a whammy pedal for their leads. The insane guitar work is off the charts in this song.

I've said it many times, while their music videos are good, any and every live track outside of Bloodstock(bad mix) and fan phone stuff is better than any of their official music videos.
I have said many times before to each their own taste, and I still say that everything they do whether audio, MV, or live it is all amazing as it is Lovebites there is no disinction
