@@SongsandThongs You're welcome. I'm glad you liked this listing. This reaction from you guys has made me really like LOVEBITES. I watch it over and over again. And I was able to go to their concert in Osaka on April 2, 2021, after this video was posted. Without your videos, I might not have been able to go to this last show with Miho, the bassist. Thanks again.
@@SongsandThongs Congratulations! With more than half million views this has become the most watched reaction to Lovebites ever. Time to react to the new line-up with bassist Fami.

Not underrated, just not well known... I was lucky enough to meet Miyako n Miho in Hull on the dragonforce tour in 2019, I went 2 nights in a row just for lovebites, awesome band...
I discovered these incredible ladies a few days ang and I haven't been this excited about a band since I discovered Nightwish. I know what I'm going to be doing during my Christmas break this year, binge watching, listening to everything they have ever done.
Marty Friedman, formerly of Megadeth, was the first to see the potential of japanese music. Since moving to Japan, he has collaborated with many different japanese musical genres.
BAND-MAID and now LOVEBITES? Keep diving into the Japanese music scene. There are some real gems to be discovered. I'd recommend Unlucky Morpheus if you want to see/hear some sickly talented musicians.
It's been 1 year and this is still the best reaction to any Lovebites song (and one of the best reactions to any band in general) I've ever seen. I never get tired of seeing it and it's already about 20 times.
Unfortunately, the quality of the reactions of this channel was declining and declining, to the point of doing live shows with several mixed interpreters and getting much fewer visits than a single reaction to a single Lovebites reaction. I'm surprised they can't use their brains when anyone can see the statistics of the live broadcasts compared to isolated reactions. A single reaction to Lovebites from a month ago, more than 29,000 visits, another one from a month ago, more than 40,000. Several live shows with several mixed bands, including Lovebites, with difficulty reaching 7,000 visits. That is called lack of vision, being unintelligent. It's their channel and they can do whatever they want, but since they ask for money I guess they do this to earn something and it's even funny that they're so blind.
When reacting to LIVE songs. Keep in mind that the band is just 4 years old. Only in their latest concerts they have good sound quality, so pick LIVE performances either from Five of a kind DVD, which is 2020 Zepp Divercity concert, or if the song can not be found from that concert, then try Daughters of the Dawn concert in 2019. I also think pretty much all of their songs (except Crusade), Live performances are BETTER than Musiv Videos. This includes also: "When Destinies Align", which is pretty much the best metal song live performance of 2020(of all bands and songs). here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/IivCHNaQh2Q/v-deo.html
Yes but some of them sounds like a circus band. Loud and the only one in between who is precise is the drummer. And a lot of generated voices, funky clothes, funny makeups, so that’s why I said a circus band, because they don’t need clowns!!!
I have no idea why these two bands are so often mentioned in the same breath. Leaving aside that Band-Maid isn't my style at all, they're entirely different bands.
This is the second song of the concert, drummer Haruna performed the entire 105 minute concert with big smile. Haruna seems to have endless energy, standing barely 4' 9", she is literally a pocket nuclear reactor.
4'9" that is 4x30,5 + 3/4 of a feet..122 cm + that piece of foot is something like 140 cm... Where i live she cant even drive. According to our traffic laws, she have to travel buckled up in child seat at the right side of car in back seat
Well, Ningen Isu have been around for ages... so.... and concerning the style many of those bands play - listen to X Japan, Dir En Grey, Versailles and such combos. Pretty much the grandfathers of those girls today. Besides - never forget to mention Unlucky Morpheus. ;)
Of all of the Nemophila songs, I vouch for Oiran too as a great way to start and showcase Mayu's vocals. And then they can ease into Nemophila's covers.
Definitely check out their newest one for Dissension too! Both Dissension and Oiran are powerful tunes. Their others are a bit more emotional or toned down but also strong
UNBELIEVABLE!!!! My FIRST TIME and HOLY SHIT!!! They are the BEST I HAVE HEARD IN YEARS!!! Please come to AMERICA!!! California ? I’m THERE !!! MASTERFUL...............
Every once in a while this reaction keep getting recommended on YT and I keep watching it and now for the umpteenth time here I am. I agree with everyone here it is one of the best reactions out there!! 😎🤟
Hello there thank you for your reaction, nice. Yeah you just sow the winners of 2018 in category for best new metal band. Lovebites are formed 2016 from ex Destrose band members Miho the bassist and composer ( she is the band leader) and Haruna the drummer ( best female power metal drummer in the world at the moment she is 4.9 high) the other members are Asami the vocalist and songwriter ( she was R&b and jazz singer before to join the band) Midori the lead guitarist and backing vocals with the blonde hair ( one of the fastest female guitarists in the world at the moment she is a demon on the guitar) and Miyako the other lead guitarist, pianist and composer ( she is the main composer of the band). Lovebites are the best all female power metal band in the world at the moment. Their last album Electric pentagram was nominated for one of the best 20 metal albums for 2020 year. They are influenced by 80s metal. Miho the bassist mentioned once in interview- we are here to make something memorable. They want to step closer to their inspiration bands like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Halloween, Metallica and Slayer. Guys you just open the pandora box. Also if you sow they play on the high heels. Believe me it's real ( you mentioned have to see them live) i know by my self I already sow them twice in Wacken Germany 2018 and UK 2019 year. Lovebites always are with high heels on the stage, or on the video clips. They like to touring in Europe. Even Miho said before if she move from Japan some day the place which she preferred to live is London UK. Guys if you want to see more action from them just check the song Rise some hell. The song is from the same concert Five of a kind in Zepp Diversity Tokyo 2020. Enjoy it.
Haha...so I seen you check the only two bands I listen to, in two days! Band-Maid and Lovebites. By the way Lovebites released a new video TODAY for the upcoming EP. Listen to anything from those bands and it cant go wrong
I GREW UP LISTENING TO METALLICA, JUDAS PRIEST SLAYER, JUST TO NAME A FEW, AND I WAS FLOORED WHEN I FIRST HEARD LOVEBITES. THIS WAS THE SONG. STILL CAN'T BELEIVE HOW GOOD THESE LADIES ARE.
Japan rock/metal scene is like a cesspool with awesome talent that some of them eclipsing other western bands to shame. They said rock is dead but not in Japan though, they still carry the torch on their own.
If you want to see a drummer that will leave a smile on your face , check out junna , through the fire and flames cover . She’s a little ball of sunshine and happiness , it’s something
Hi, glad you took the Lovebites suggestion, however you ain't seen nuthing yet. I am surprised that you are both surprised that an all female band can be as good as Lovebites. I first heard them in 2017 after their first gigs and realized back then that they were world beaters and as good as, if not better than, many male bands. All members of Lovebites are insamely talented musicians at the top of their game. and while looking like supermodels on the catwalk, Lovebites' members (except Haruna the drummer) perform a full 90 minute plus set, playing their instruments, moving around the stage, headbanging and changing the pedals on their effects boards while wearing four inch high heels and do not even break sweat. They are definitely the real deal. I recommend 'Break the Wall', 'Edge of the World', 'We the United'' 'Swan Song'from the Zepp Diver City, Tokyo concert in 2020 and 'Epilogue', 'Scream for Me and 'Above the Black Sea'' from the Daughters of the Dawn conceert recorded in Tokyo in 2019 'for starters. You can't go wrong with anything from these two concerts. You should also check out another all female Japanese metal band called NEMOPHILA - I recommend 'RAITEI', 'SORAI' or OIRAN.
oh man did you ever choose the right vid - and the right band. literally every song will blow your mind especially live. this is a true japanese girl supergroup with most members 28 - 30 and veterans of previous girl's metal bands. they are all insane on their instruments but how about the guitarists midori on the left and miyako on the right who also is a world class pianist ? warp speed shredders
@@SongsandThongs i wonder how many dumpsters full of guitars have been trashed over the last 5 years. can't count how many times i've heard it from reactors that are guitarists ! i don't want to even touch mine anymore.
@@SongsandThongs Funny you mentioned Dragonforce; Lovebites was there opening act on there 2019 tour through the UK. If you want to laugh hysterically, there's a UA-cam video of Sam Totman playing a banjo while HermanLi is wearing a little white dress to fit in with the girls of Lovebites. There's another video of HermanLi "Auditioning" for BAND-MAID with Miku and Kanami that is just epic. As always, stay happy healthy and safe. Enjoy 😉
@@SongsandThongs Yeah. Both videos that Rod mentioned above are hillarious. (You can find them at Dragonforce's youtube channel) 😂😂 There is also one with Dragonforce playing "My Heart Will Go On" from Celine Dion with Lovebites doing backing vocals and having fun on stage. (fan camera only though) You'd check them out even if it's for your own entertainment only. Have fun! Stay safe.
Finally you get to Lovebites, im intrested to see your reactions. And today they released a new video called "glory to the world" from their forthcoming EP, Glory, glory to the world.
Excellent reaction! As a guitar player myself, I can provide some insight as a fan. Miyako (Dean guitar) powers an Orange cab with a Peavey 6505. She's modified the Dean with boutique made "Ovaltone" capacitors. Midori (ESP E-II Horizon) plays through a Kemper pushing a Marshall cab. She just changed the stock Seymour Duncans out for Fishman Fluence just recently (to sound more like Miyako perhaps?). I recently picked up the same model guitar second hand. I tweeted her a little snippet of me playing it and she posted a complimentary response (I'm not worthy!!!). So sweet of her to do that. They list Iron Maiden as one of their major influences, so Asami is going for a female Bruce Dickinson vocally. Oh, and they've toured with Dragonforce.
Ron has it pretty much spot on. The girls have used Marshall,Orange,Peavey and Kemper backlines. As an old Crusty Shredder myself I gotta say I havent witnessed this kind of Every Note Musician ship from a duo but a couple times. And I have been at 100's and 100's of Shows in my 57 yo existence.
Japan has had an active all-girl metal scene since at least 1981. This is a starter list of all-female or (in four cases, mixed, female-led) metal, punk, hard-rock and post-rock bands. It's mostly alphabetical, except for the first three, which are at the top of the list for historical reasons. They set the table for the explosion of Japanese female hard-rock, punk and metal bands. Thank you for reacting earlier than planned. They are amazing. The guitarist at the right, Miyako, is even a better pianist. All 3 guitarists, Miyako , Midori and Miho are perfect. Love y'alls reactions. Welcome to the world that is LOVEBITES!!! Now if you want your mind blown even more Miyako the beautiful lady playing the Dean is even a better pianist if that is even possible!!
Isn't it fun finding out that there is an incredible music scene going on in Japan right now? Band Maid and Lovebites are a great introductions to the J-Rock/J-Metal scene. The coolest part is you haven't even scratched the surface!
Yesh finally! The wolf pack ladies are in! Lovebites bites again. Miyako is on 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Next stop: Wagakki band - Homura (Live) and Unlucky Morpheus - Angreifer (Live)
I understand this is currently the most viewed Lovebites reaction video on UA-cam! It’s more than deserved because you understand how hard it is to make that level of live recording and what level musicians need to be to be able to do that.
Hilarious reaction. I could not stop laughing - and felt exactly the same every moment. 😂 I already watched this reaction countless times, and will continue to watch it. 😊 The quality of music these ladies deliver is just un-be-lievable. Maybe also a little bit outrageous. They set the bar so incredibly high... Watching them is so _mind-blowing_ , but can also be extremely humiliating for ambitious Metal musicians. 😂 Stay positive, stay tuned! 😊 Greetings from GER ⬛🟥🟨
Are you guys South Africans? I am a Saffa living in Japan 🗾 and I was lucky enough to see them live in Osaka in 2019. They were absolutely incredible. One of the best live bands I have ever seen. The all women rock and metal band scene in Japan is on fire 🔥🔥🔥 these days.
Yes we are South Africans. We haven't been to Japan yet but definitely one of the countries that we love and on our bucket list to visit. We love their culture and the way they do things. Think a lot of countries can learn from them. That is totally rad that you got to see them live, just a little bit jealous of a fellow Saffa haha Take care and be blessed
@@SongsandThongs Please visit Japan. It's an absolutely amazing place, and the people are lovely. It's one of those countries that just doesn't disappoint. Plus they love the Springboks post the 2019 world cup lol.
An incredible band and a prolific band. Since starting in 2017 they have three full albums, two live albums and two, soon to be three EPs. Their next EP comes out in less than a month and just today they dropped the video for the song Glory to the World. Before the pandemic they were doing the European festival circuit and blowing minds everywhere. Being from the US I want them to be huge and come here to perform someday when we can leave our houses.
The best way I can think of to describe their style, Is, They are Heavy Metal Opra. The talent level coming from these all female Japanese bands today. Is INSANELY GOOD.
I love watching people's reactions to Lovebites hearing them for the first time and this is one of my two favorites. The bewilderment, the laughing, the admiration... just perfect.
Whenever you feel under the weather, not up to things; pick any Lovebites song, listen and watch - and then you'll have the world in the palm of your hand. These ladies have it all; great songwriting skills, uplifting lyrics, technical musical skills beyond everything, and buckets of personality. Thank you, Lovebites, for the joy you bring; and thank you, Songs and Thongs, for your great reaction.
Band-Maid suggestions I recommend hearing the mv version of songs then listening to the live version if there is one. Here are some suggestions. Domination mv --- then the live version Real existence mv and live Freedom live Dice mv Play live Blooming mv Rinne/Reincarnation mv Manners mv Warning mv After Life mv
Shadowmaker... .The first Lovebites song I heard and fell in love straight away. Same day ordered their album without paying any notice to the cost of it. Just had to have it! Of course could download it but when I love something I like to have it physically :-))) Sounds weird-I know ;-)
Watching first time listeners to any Lovebites song has become a hobby. I love the reactions. At first, you see these beautiful ladies, all dressed up like there are going to a party. Then the music starts and BAM!!! They punch you right in the face with their blistering metal. Soon you come to realize they are all master musicians with an amazing singer. Eventually, you will listen to another one of their songs and by the time that song ends, you are deep in the rabbit hole and you are stuck in the world of Lovebites. I got into them about a year ago and haven't stopped listening. Any song you pick is a winner. But the ones I like to suggest to new listeners are Thunder Vengence, Break The Wall, The Crusade, and what I think is a masterpiece, Edge of the World. Also, for a guitar clinic, Listen to Scream For Me. Go with the live versions. Regarding the drummer, she is only 4'9" but as you heard/saw, she is a giant behind the kit.
Japanese bands were all set to take over in 2020 - then covid struck!! Now 2021 is here and the world is about ready to open up - and the all female Japanese bands are in top gear to take over the world!! Lovebites are very good - the dual lead guitar ...reminiscent of Judas Priest. Their drummer is a pint sized tub thumping machine!!! My personal favourite is a band named NEMOPHILA...you will LOVE them!! For Japanese male fronted rock - Galneryus is very hard to beat but I do love Jupiter (formerly Versaille)
Nice reaction. More Lovebites. More Band-Maid. And consider doing a couple for Nemophila, another Japanese all-female band; they're a super-group that combines the punky hard rock of Band-Maid and the power metal of Lovebites. Try "Oiran"
Yeah, I too am in awe of how casual the drummer seems to be when playing. The whole band is ridiculous talented! I just picked up this band recently on the recommendation from a friend and I picked up one of their albums from a local CD store (yes, there's one left) and I make sure the neighbors listen to it too.
great reaction😊 welcome to the LOVE BITES world more LOVE BITES❤️ Glory To The World Winds Of Transyltania When Destinies Align(live) Swan Song(live) Raise Some Hell(live) Edege Of The World(live) and more & more
Hi S&T, great to see that You've managed to re-open up theese reactions since this one is my all time favourite reaction video and I don't think I'm the only one who thinks exactly that so, great to see it back.
This never gets old... seeing someone react to Lovebites for the first time! I remember it so well, because I was in your shoes just about 7 weeks ago. Heard 2 songs here on YT and was love bitten immediately.
@@toddwilliams8128 Same. As an old Helloween fan "Eagle Fly Free" made me curious and "When Destinies Allign" made me addicted to Lovebites. Immediately bought all of their studio cd and two dvds... best addiction ever.
@@jenspfennig9226 After ""eagle" got me interested, I checked out what they had to offer live. Started off with "The Hammer of Wrath" and realized it's been at least 15 years since I got this excited about discovering a new band.
Japan is the place to be for music at the moment, they just seem to have so many great bands. Here are 3 more for you. Unlucky Morpheus - Angreifer Fate Gear - Mega Bullets Nemophila - Oiran
The big four, Love Bites, Nemophila, Band Maid, ALDIOUS, how can u go wrong, the best metal being played right now without people knowing who they are, the ladies r bad ass so give them their props
The more Lovebites you listen to, the more you'll realize how epic this band is, so I suggest you just start digging in right now. Very possibly the best metal band on the planet right now, no kidding.
Oh yeah the WOLF-PACK bites another couple!!!! Best LIVE Power metal band that plays flawlessly !!!!!! Midori/ESP/Blond and Miyako/Dean/Black (M & M show) are the most dynamic duo playing LIVE today. You haven't seen anything yet!!! Formed in 2016 by Miho/bass and Haruna/drums after the great all female Destrose band dissolved to get a more European sound into J/Metal. Best new Metal band (2018), 1st all female metal band from Japan to play Wacken and Bloodstock (2018) and their last album Electric Pentagram was nominated for Metal Album of the Year (2020). These women are all petite (4' 9" - 5' 2") and wear high heels and white dresses on stage with risers to be seen but no one plays better or stands taller than these women. They play Power, Speed, Thrash, Ballads and even classical piano (yes classical piano)!! Harry for the guitar head spinning: Scream for Me LIVE (ua-cam.com/video/9Og4gvSUmCo/v-deo.html) The M & M show in all its glory!! Empty Daydream LIVE ( ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html) Miyako's classical piano intro with Asami's bluesy vocals shine before the power surge, a ballad done Lovebites way!! These women are so insanely talented it is said it is illegal to have this much talent in one band!! Now you have to check out Asterism Dawn LIVE (ua-cam.com/video/buQPvINJcA0/v-deo.html) in a small club due to Child Labor Laws and see these teens do string work that blends Metal/Rock/Jazz into a fusion instrumental you won't soon forget!!!!
Aah man we love this comment! Thank you so much for taking the time to send us this epic comment! We will definitely check out those tracks and yes, we are pretty sure it is illegal to have this much talent in one band!
Very nice reaction, to see you both in amazement and left a bit speechless is something that happened to others before.LOVEBITES are a great live band, so your journey with them had a good start. Asterism's Dawn is awesome. And to know that (in this video) the girl on the guitar, named Haruka, was just 16 will left you in astonishment.
Thanks for reacting to amazing Lovebites. Early last year I discovered Band Maid, Lovebites and more Japanese rock bands with different styles (for example, Versailles, kinda neoclassical heavy metal) like Galneryus, Ningen Isu, Unlucky Morpheus, Nemophila, D_Drive, Mary’s blood, Asterism, etc., and I’m still in owe. By the way, Japanese female musicians are very skillful (Nemophila, Asterism and Show Ya are an example of this) Lovebites lineup: Haruna - Drums Miho - Bass Midori - lead & rhythm guitar (to the left side) Miyako - Lead & rhythm guitar and classical piano. Asami - Vocals (with a R&B background)
Prior to the covid shutdown Lovebites were touring in Europe with Dragon Force. All 5 of them are quite petite, so they always wear white because Meta stages are usually dark to be seen. Miho (bass) with Haruna (drums) formed the band after Destrose went dormant. They recruited Modori and Miyako as the guitarists and finally Asami (vocalist) who's background was R&B and Soul. If you did not notice the lyrics are in English, Asmai lived in the US in her teens and she is the prime lyricist. Miyako is the prime composer and she has a UA-cam channel you should check out! As to your next reaction; checkout Swan Song. It has a bit of a surprise in it.
Wearing white so as to be more visible on stage ??!! Please stop this nonsense of a lie. They wore white to give them a status of being sophisticated ladies and also to tell the world that metal does not have to be all black and depressing and dark !!! The ladies themselves said so. So stop spreading this dumb lies !!
@@lneihkimi7055 From Devolution magazine 15 June 2018, Miho interview:We were thinking about how we’d look on stage. We’re pretty petite girls and if we wore black we’d probably disappear into the background! We figured that if we wore white outfits the stage lights would reflect off of them and give us a stronger stage presence.
You have to wonder what the heck is going on in Japan with all these amazing super talented all female bands, Lovebites, Band-Maid, Doll$Boxx, etc. Maybe it is time to start eating sushi and ramen.
In case you haven't realized by now, there is some amazing music coming out of japan!!!! Babymetal, love bites, band maid, mary's blood, on and on......
Your reaction was just like mine. "Really?" Then i scrambled to hear more. Im still blown away at how good they really are!!! When Destinies Align really showcases both guitarists.
You guys are going to love this journey!! With Lovebites and Band Maid, you don't need much else in the way of music!! Well, maybe a little Dreamcatcher for a twist of pop.
15 months ago they were touring Europe with Dragonforce, actually, along with Thomas McRocklin. Herman Li was live streaming the concerts on his Twitch stream.
Love your reaction! Been a LOVEBITES fan forever. And I love how you don't pause every 20 seconds, you don't pause at all! Seeing your excitement for them reminds me of when I was first discovering them.

You're welcome.
Is it possible that the song Thunder vengeance is not on the list?😱😱
@@SongsandThongs Congratulations! With more than half million views this has become the most watched reaction to Lovebites ever. Time to react to the new line-up with bassist Fami.
As of November 26, 2022, of the list we will be able to view only 10 videos. Unfortunately, two of them are blocked in Japan. The other videos have been removed or are private.
For some of the videos, it seems that they are no longer viewable due to copyright remarks other than LOVEBITES' music.

I discovered these incredible ladies a few days ang and I haven't been this excited about a band since I discovered Nightwish. I know what I'm going to be doing during my Christmas break this year, binge watching, listening to everything they have ever done.
The best band right now🤘🏻🔥
Nemophila imo....but Lovebites a very close second....and possibly only because I adore Mayu and Saki....LOL
@@sychambers5440 nemophila definitely one of my favorite band 👍

But make sure it's the performance with the Chopin piano intro.
Strongly Agree on this one
Band-maid and lovebites ... keep this up. Next stop: Asterism, also from japan
Best metal band ever. EVER.
Marty Friedman, formerly of Megadeth, was the first to see the potential of japanese music.
Since moving to Japan, he has collaborated with many different japanese musical genres.
Old Joke Alert: He was pretty good in 'Young Frankenstein' too.
BAND-MAID and now LOVEBITES? Keep diving into the Japanese music scene. There are some real gems to be discovered. I'd recommend Unlucky Morpheus if you want to see/hear some sickly talented musicians.
wellcome to the lovebites world 🤣
泣くほど感動してくださりありがとうございました~♡
It's been 1 year and this is still the best reaction to any Lovebites song (and one of the best reactions to any band in general) I've ever seen. I never get tired of seeing it and it's already about 20 times.
I’ll see your 20 times and raise you 10 lol. I’m complete agreement with you.
Same here, hearing lovebites for the first time is like being caught in an avalanche or being hit by a train 🤣🤣 🐺🤘🐺🤘🐺
Same here lol

Thanks for reacting Lovebites, Miyako the black haired guitarist also play piano on ballad songs.
check out : Epilogue, Edge Of The World
thanks
When reacting to LIVE songs. Keep in mind that the band is just 4 years old. Only in their latest concerts they have good sound quality, so pick LIVE performances either from Five of a kind DVD, which is 2020 Zepp Divercity concert, or if the song can not be found from that concert, then try Daughters of the Dawn concert in 2019. I also think pretty much all of their songs (except Crusade), Live performances are BETTER than Musiv Videos. This includes also: "When Destinies Align", which is pretty much the best metal song live performance of 2020(of all bands and songs). here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/IivCHNaQh2Q/v-deo.html

for girl is very strong energy😂
Her nick name given to her by the band is Little big engine.

4'9" that is 4x30,5 + 3/4 of a feet..122 cm + that piece of foot is something like 140 cm... Where i live she cant even drive. According to our traffic laws, she have to travel buckled up in child seat at the right side of car in back seat
Japan is making all the music for the 21st century! Babymetal...Band-Maid...Lovebites...Wagakki Band...Ningen Isu...
Wagakkiband is something different - and definitely worth listening. "Ikusa" good starting point!
Well, Ningen Isu have been around for ages... so.... and concerning the style many of those bands play - listen to X Japan, Dir En Grey, Versailles and such combos. Pretty much the grandfathers of those girls today. Besides - never forget to mention Unlucky Morpheus. ;)

Another great all female metal band is Nemophila. You should check out their song Oiran. If you like Lovebites you should also love Nemophila.
Their covers are also very good.
Of all of the Nemophila songs, I vouch for Oiran too as a great way to start and showcase Mayu's vocals. And then they can ease into Nemophila's covers.
Wow. Hevier and nastier, just the way I like it. Thanks.
Definitely check out their newest one for Dissension too! Both Dissension and Oiran are powerful tunes. Their others are a bit more emotional or toned down but also strong

Welcome to Japan Metal Arena guys 🤘
Enjoy it.
Band Maid, Lovebites, and Nemophila my favorite bands now, wow.
Me too man! Their newer stuff is even better than this if you can believe it?
They are the GOAT 🤘😎
Japan rock/metal scene is like a cesspool with awesome talent that some of them eclipsing other western bands to shame. They said rock is dead but not in Japan though, they still carry the torch on their own.
Please edit this the pool word you used is a bad word.
Cesspool is really not the right word to use. It implies something bad.
cesspool? more like a sparkling ocean deep pool. :)
If you want to see a drummer that will leave a smile on your face , check out junna , through the fire and flames cover . She’s a little ball of sunshine and happiness , it’s something
They are All Super Musicians. Trust me Every song,Every album is Insane Musicianship and the harmonized and trade off leads are their forte.
This was me this week... my life has changed! ❤
632k views on this reaction ,😂congratulations
Watching this again because of how immensely overwhelmed you guys are
I've watched dozens of reactions to this song and this one is, by far, the best.
Wow thanks so so much!
Freaken epic!
@@SongsandThongs i wonder how many dumpsters full of guitars have been trashed over the last 5 years. can't count how many times i've heard it from reactors that are guitarists ! i don't want to even touch mine anymore.
Asami is outstanding considering she comes from a jazz and blues background
Aaaaah what a killer comment! Thanks!
Man, I should know when a guitar sounds like heaven it is either a 5150 or a 6505!
@@SongsandThongs Anything from the Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020 show or the 2019 Daughters Of The Dawn show is excellent.
Ron has it pretty much spot on. The girls have used Marshall,Orange,Peavey and Kemper backlines. As an old Crusty Shredder myself I gotta say I havent witnessed this kind of Every Note Musician ship from a duo but a couple times. And I have been at 100's and 100's of Shows in my 57 yo existence.
just to tell you guys, that concert is 2 hours plus, and yes i'm there, love from japan :D
LOVEBITES and Band-Maid are from Japan.
I have watched this reaction many times and it is still one of the best and most amusing reaction I have seen. This bunch are awesome.

Jメタル史上最高のバンドの一つであることは間違いない‼️
Japan has had an active all-girl metal scene since at least 1981. This is a starter list of all-female or (in four cases, mixed, female-led) metal, punk, hard-rock and post-rock bands. It's mostly alphabetical, except for the first three, which are at the top of the list for historical reasons. They set the table for the explosion of Japanese female hard-rock, punk and metal bands.

There are many more (others that come to mind are BRATS, Stereopony, Scandal, the Lisa-X Group, Hagane etc. And of course, there are the female-fronted Kawaii-metal groups like Babymetal, Ladybaby and Ironbunny, to name the three best-known.
Great list! I want to add Cross Vein (fronted by Julia with operatic vocals) because they just popped into my recommendations and I had never heard of them before and their video views are disgustingly low for their solid power/symphonic/gothic metal. ua-cam.com/video/Us8jZSqUtXk/v-deo.html

Don't forget Super Junky Money!
Thank you for reacting earlier than planned. They are amazing. The guitarist at the right, Miyako, is even a better pianist. All 3 guitarists, Miyako , Midori and Miho are perfect. The drummer Haruna is a beast on the drums. The vocalist, Asami, is very special. This all makes the band unique. All songs are good, especially the live ones from the Japanese concerts.
Only a pleasure! Couldn't wait! Ha ha! What a great band!

More Lovebites please!
Yesh finally! The wolf pack ladies are in! Lovebites bites again. Miyako is on 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Next stop: Wagakki band - Homura (Live) and Unlucky Morpheus - Angreifer (Live)
First Band Maid and now lovebites, your minds officially blown? Yeah they are, now you have to check out Nemophila, you won't be disappointed.
The quality of music these ladies deliver is just un-be-lievable. Maybe also a little bit outrageous. They set the bar so incredibly high... Watching them is so _mind-blowing_ , but can also be extremely humiliating for ambitious Metal musicians. 😂
Stay positive, stay tuned!
That is totally rad that you got to see them live, just a little bit jealous of a fellow Saffa haha
Take care and be blessed
This is my favourite video of 2021...great reactions!
Cheers from Italy!
And cheers from Denmark as well...!! 🤘
This reaction is iconic. I come here now and then. So entertaining! So on point!

I only discovered Lovebites by accident last week. Bloody hell!.... fantastic!!

Shadowmaker... .The first Lovebites song I heard and fell in love straight away. Same day ordered their album without paying any notice to the cost of it. Just had to have it! Of course could download it but when I love something I like to have it physically :-))) Sounds weird-I know ;-)
Onset by Band Maid... Thank me later...
Lovebites and Band-Maid are the two best female bands on earth with both their own style. You should listening to more of their stuff.
If you add Nemophila to that, then you get the holy trinity.
Try "Oiran"
I absolutely second Nemophila ‘Oiran’ though I’d characterize them as a bit more melodic death than punk. All great musicians in all these bands.
I have yet to hear a dud from them. One of my faves is "Scream for me." The live version is an absolute guitar clinic.
At this time the official video has 2.2 million views, and this reaction has 600K which is 1/3 of the original. Crazy

Here are 3 more for you.
Unlucky Morpheus - Angreifer
Fate Gear - Mega Bullets
Nemophila - Oiran
HELL YEAH!!!!
Fuki is life 😍
The big four, Love Bites, Nemophila, Band Maid, ALDIOUS, how can u go wrong, the best metal being played right now without people knowing who they are, the ladies r bad ass so give them their props
Harry for the guitar head spinning:
Scream for Me LIVE (ua-cam.com/video/9Og4gvSUmCo/v-deo.html) The M & M show in all its glory!!

We will definitely check out those tracks and yes, we are pretty sure it is illegal to have this much talent in one band!
Very nice reaction, to see you both in amazement and left a bit speechless is something that happened to others before.LOVEBITES are a great live band, so your journey with them had a good start. That was incredible !
By the way, Japanese female musicians are very skillful (Nemophila, Asterism and Show Ya are an example of this)
Lovebites lineup:
Haruna - Drums
Miho - Bass
Midori - lead & rhythm guitar (to the left side)
Miyako - Lead & rhythm guitar and classical piano.
Asami - Vocals (with a R&B background)
That vocalist is amazing and the entire band is otherworldly talented!
