This is one of their very first songs, created back in 2017 which introduced many many people to Lovebites. It totally blew people's minds when they played it back then, and now they have polished it even more to give you the masterpiece of a creation that you just witnessed.
The original MV (with the advert in the middle) was my first look at Lovebites, and pretty much melted my brain. "Wnen Destinies Align" fried what was left. You're right, they keep polishing their old songs, which is mind blowing because you would not think there's any room to improve.

I’m sure the eastern scales used in the opening and closing riff are the same, or similar, to the song “Gates of Babylon”. As it’s Ronnie James Dio singing it, I’ve just given you two reasons to check it out.

And another thing I have noticed about Haruna. She never seems to get tired, never see her having to catch her breath or for that matter even sweat at all.
So many super Japanese female bands and musicians. Also Nemophila, Band Maid, Gacharic Spin, Hagane, Asterism, Hanabie, Sokoninaru, Mary's Blood, Doll Boxx and from the 80s, Show Ya are still going strong and that's just a few !!
I totally agree. Many good bands around the world but for the last couple of years I've been laser focused on the great metal coming out of Japan, I just can't get enough!
This song made me pick up guitar after 20 years, bought a Dean V with the result of a broken sholder after two weeks of manicaly trying to learn Midoris parts of shadowmaker.
superb musicianship from the past.....I just wish Miyako would let loose and show that she might actually enjoy what she's doing!! The video from Dragonforce featuring Midori and Miyako is the ONLY time I have seen Miyako REALLY letting loose.
First unfortunately this was live and sound dudes let us down. Second percussion outstanding. Third amazing to have all of the guitar players be equally as good. Fourth lead singer has an amazing mix of opera and traditional Japanese styles and be able to bring them together the way she does. The overall showmanship is off the chain. Would love to see them tour the US.
Although Nemophila overtook them for me a while back, Lovebites remain one of my very favorite metal bands on the planet. Can't wait for them to get back in action...although it's been fun speculating on who the new bassist will turn out to be.

Sometimes the pauses are for copyright reasons. I too prefer the pauses instead of commenting over the video. Often times things get missed. Whenever I visit a new person doing reaction videos if they’re talking too much I just skip my them.
