This is the exact kind of review I was looking for. Knew the difference for the Wireless Blue voice was the software. I play a lot of Warzone on Xbox and host quite a bit of online meetings for work on my LT. So I was looking for a headset that I can use for both all day at work and evening for play and this seems like a clear winner for me. Thanks for the great review!
@@andreitalmazan6164 Hi Andrei, sorry for the late response but yes. It took awhile for me to remember this but I do remember the tightness being a slight issue. However, since I used them most of the time during the pandemic for gaming and work; I got used to it. It also depends how you wear them. The pressure point to me comes from the bottom of the cups. So if I wore the cups a little to low, the pressure was below my ears towards the end of my jaw bone and got to me. However, to offset it, I adjust the cups slightly more up and centered and that worked out better. Another factor that can take into play is the material of the cups. They automatically come with the soft leather set on but they also come with another set of cotton like material. Full disclosure, they don’t block out much noise like the leather ones do but they do let your ears ventilate. Which helps. I do have to say this was my first professional headset purchase aside from turtle beaches but I can say, since making this comment back then, I haven’t had the need to purchased any other brand. I still use them till this day. Hope this helps!

i have both and i found this headset sound was trash, flat and hollow sound..the software is buggy and gives hassles, like one ear not working..the mic was good tho

@@TheTechne i had arctis 3 i have cloud stinger cores, cloud alpha s, and g pro, and for comfort hyperx cloud alpha s is the best but idk why i keep returning to g pro, (i have g pro headset from january 2020, and alpha s from April 2021, and stinger cores from october 2018), would not recommend stinger in terms of sound

jai krishna comfort is vary subjective. But the headset is comfy for me and the wire attaches via usb or a single jack in for that reason I cannot say if it works 100% with ps4 or not. All I can say is that it works well on my gaming pc
jai krishna on pc it feels really good and we even have an options for EQ in the software so you can make them sound the way you like it which is awesome. The microphone is allso above average as far as headphones go
good video, I think putting time stamps throughout the video for generally what you're talking about would be a nice addition to your vids. more convenient for viewers. :D
I'm looking at the G Pros and the Phillips SHP9500 for gaming and also editing my videos. I plan to buy a Yeti Nano for my commentary when I live stream since the headphone/mic combo is far better quality than a headset.. Is it worth me spending that extra $30 for the X's if I'm already getting a separate mic for commentary or should I save that $30 towards the Yeti Nano? Also, what do you think about the SHP9500 compared to the G Pros. Appreciate your time and help :)
I got the headset but the microphone is not working when I go to the ghub it mutes everything on the mic when I try to unmute it it does not let me it mutes it again

The Techne Ok thanks. I’m still quite confused though. With this version, you still get the software as you have the usb dongle I’m assuming. So does the x only add the blue voice or does it add the software or the blue voice and more options.

I plugged it into my ipad and the mic worked. but my phone is an iPhone so no 3.5 jack :(

I broke my g203 today and I ended up buying this one off of the logitech website. It's gonna come in a week or two I think.
In Australia these have just gone on sale for 60 bucks (USD 40 ish). Definitely gonna pick these up. Great review!

this is a great headset. but as for ps4 I always recommend wireless or powered. 2 of my fav ps4 headsets are teh Arctis 7's and the Arctis pro (wired and wireless)
@@TheTechne If I were to want a wired headset, would these still suit me well on the ps4? Mainly just want to hear where footsteps are coming from.
