I've had the Cloud II's since 2016 and have never been disappointed with them. Especially with a mixamp, and before that was 2011 Gen 1 Astros A40s also not terrible if you have a mix amp. But this year I wanted to get a new headset. I tried the Steelseries Arctis 3. The comfort is much better than the Cloud II's, but they weren't powerful enough sound wise. I tried the Turtlebeach Atlas, returned those the next day. They were heavy and the clamping was way too strong. Then the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition came on my radar. They are lightweight (similiar to Cloud II's ), very comfy with the cooling gel and THICC spacious ear cups. You are really good at what you do. I already had a mouse and keyboard from HyperX and the mouse is the Pulsefire Surge. I watched your review of it a while after I purchased it and I noticed that you refer to it as a $40 gem (usually $50 but it was on sale at that time). I couldn’t agree with you anymore on that statement because the mouse is very good and not overpriced at all. The fact that that amazing mouse is HyperX brand drew me to be interested in this headset but then I watched both this review and your review of the Razer BlackShark V2 X. Initially I was surprised that this headset wasn’t as good of a bang for your buck as the HyperX mouse. Because of you I purchased the Razer BlackShark V2 X because I already knew that when you classify a product as a gem, that it is a very good bang for your buck. I personally knew how good of a mouse the pulsefire surge is from experience and you classified it as a gem, so when I saw you classify the V2 X as a gem I instantly knew that product was going to be like the headset version of my mouse. I want to thank you for being honest in your reviews and not partial to any specific brand, because otherwise I would not have gotten such a good headset for a cheap price. I've had these for a little over a year and YT just recommended this video to me, so I was curious on what this channel had to say about it. I'll have to agree on what you said about it's sound quality on PC, BUT that was only true on the onboard audio of the motherboard. However once I plugged this into a dedicated soundcard (I've got the SoundBlaster Z) the sound quality of these headsets skyrocketed! I think it's because of these headsets' high impedence, which I believe it's 600ohm? So you're going to need something stronger than your onboard audio to really know how good these are! Got the cloud mix and fall in love with it 💙😍
they look so nice! gosh I just wish hyperx would put some swivel in there ear cups :(
Psycho Guy should I get the cloud mix? I’m so stuck on alpha or the flight or one you got man?...
Jordan Evans cloud mix are incredible.. but too expensive
I heard that the cloud alpha is great too.. anyway if you want the best take cloud mix/ arctis 7/ arctis pro
If you want a good headset take
Cloud alpha
If you want a wireless headset take Cloud Flight 👍🏻
So out of them all you think the mix is the best bro. I’ll defs go with them then
Jordan Evans good luck.. arctis pro are incredible too👍🏻
Comfort first! I am actually buying a new set because my current TB set has great sound but they are HORRIBLY uncomfortable & I just can’t stand it!

Great video, I would love to see you compare these to the Cloud 2s. I know there are videos of that out there but would like to see it from yourself :)

Nice rap intro i thought this was a rap trailer lol xxd

The Techne 100 a day?! You’re blowing up!!! You’re doing great keep up the hard work!!
bought this one to replace my cloud 2's, having that detachable cable is so nice because that's what got fucked up on my cloud 2's.
I'm about to buy the alphas, my cloud 2's cable is falling apart as well unfortunately
is the sound quality any good? can you listen to music and be fully satisfied? and you hear footsteps in game? i really want to know.

I just bought this today and tried them for a few hours and I love them definitely recommend them
Any change? Is it still good?
@@Txssaaron no change I still love them and recommend it I recently bought the turtle beach headset audio controller plus and I have to say they work better with it.
Is the bass good?
@@zulfendi1227 the bass is ok if you’re looking for a headset with good bass there’s other headsets with better bass like the astros A10 or the turtle beach stealth 600 2nd GEN but other than that the headset are very good
a comfortable wireless headset for me would be the best. but issues like delay and disconnection worries.
cloud flight and stinger wireless are amazing, i own both and there is never delay or connection concerns.
this guy is so good with teachnolagy bro
Could you please give your take on which one you would go for between HyperX Alpha pro and Razer Kraken 2019 ? The prices in India are bumped up due to the taxes and shippment. So this will be a one time buy. Would really appreciate your take on it.
Go alpha S
Got these a year ago and still not one scratch on them. Gonna take them with me to the ps5. They that good
All these comments convinced me to get cloudx Alpha. I see so many videos praising razer blackshark v2 pro but all the comments were saying how theirs broke after just a month of use
@@IWantToStayAtYourHouse I’ve had my alphas for 4 years now. They are built so sturdy you wouldn’t need to worry if you you where to have a rage moment lol. I’m pretty sure you’ve heard but GREAT sound. Also the leather on the ear cups was fading a bit after so many years and I accidentally washed my mic like a dummy.. What’s cool is you can get replacement parts for super cheap on Kingston’s website. I recommend it.
I'm using mine for xbox and the mic is really sensitive. I have to turn the volume down so low so my friends dont hear themselves. No clue how the mic is catching their voices but it is.
I spent 80 on these headset and another 80 on the sound card. Best money I've ever spent on PC hardware ever!
thank you so much for stopping by and watching :) hope to see you around for a few more
@Hopex Playzz Soundblaster Z
You can just use the hyperx cloud 2 usb sound card or the new Hyperx amp with the alpha. And is proven by reddit in the hyperx page
Would you recommend the hyperx cloud 2 over these for games were you need to pay close attention to your surroundings or any other headset with a mic?
No
what's your price range?

Did you get them and what you think?
@@pro-vk2pd im still using the cloud 2.0, it's been 3-4 years of use now and they are still going strong, no issues. only a little bit of material has scraped off of the ear cushions, but nothing else. a great choice.

Comfort is number one important for me don’t wanna be miserable while gaming that’s why this is my go to headset
I also have this for 60$ and breed them with a Creative Sound Blaster Z. Everybody praise this headphones! Great review, gratz!
60$ nice! now then I would say this headset is well worth it. I just think there are better out there around the 100$ range.
Get this headset for 37 dollars used, its older but its perfect to me to use on a pc gaming, music, videos and more, great sound, mic and can stay on my head for hours, my first HyperX gaming headset to😍😁
A other great vid my friend keep up the great work! 😎👌
comfortability is #2 for me actually. when im looking for a new headset i mostly only care about sound quality. i can get use to it being uncomfortable lmao
Same
Yeah my current headset used to be uncomfortable to the point i kinda regret buying but i got used to it anyway lmao. Planning to buy this i hope it goes well
@@jandeus9489 i dont reccomend lol. i bought it and i regret it. mic is echoing really badly and sound is more quiet in games. it is comfortable and they sound really good when youre listening to music or watching a movie etc. but when youre in game, it gets quiet:\ but i can recommend you my last headphones: genesis neon 600, cheaper, but better IMO

Could you please tell me which one is better for PS4 gaming:
Cloud II, Cloud Core, Cloud Alpha or Cloud Alpha S??
Immersion is the primary concern here. Want something for single-player games like God of War, Red Dead etc.
@@princesmith8008 i cant compare any of them sadly, but i did buy the cloud alpha and the sound is great. i can recommend you this one but i have no idea if its worse or better than the other ones:/ the only thing that i would like to point out is that the microphone is echoing, its catching audio from the headphones. it is in fact so bad that i had to buy a stationary mic. but soundwise hyperx cloud alpha is awesome
In my opinion the sound is number 1 definitely
I subscribed for the full reviews including the glasses comfort test it's a shame you don't review plantronics

I agree comfortable and sound quality are top of the list
I would highly recommend them i have used them for 2 years on console they sound great the mic is good.
i just got my headset and i’m kinda worried i got a defective pair because the adjustment band is somewhat easy to adjust and slides a bit to easy unlike my other headset
I wouldn't ignore comfort over sound quality for sure. Its a deal breaker if it hurts my ears or something.
Just bought them today. Super comfy.
