They are opening for Mastodon and Primus at the Stone Pony this summer. While I really dig Mastodon and was a Primus fan back in the day, I'm most stoked to see All Them Witches.

I've been groovin on them Witches for about 6 years now but I've never heard this EP before. It must've just supposed to have happened this way because I just love this! As soon as I heard the opening chords to track 2, I perked up like my cat whenever he hears the lid pulled back off the can of some greasy cat food lol I even declared "Meeeoww!" as I ran over to my computer to see if it were typedin there, even tho I already knew it was Green...what a brilliant composer Peter Green was and it perfectly slides right in with the other tracks too. I am way too high to be writing this sentence but if I remember to come back, I will finish my thoughts but one thing's for sure... All Them Witches are pretty rad!

The opening track is so atmospheric and beautiful. I hate to say I fail to understand the lyrics. Regardless its a brilliant piece of music, Ive only heard such an atmosphere from songs that really aided my younger pains
It's just an old folk tune from the British Isles, so the lyrics aren't really that deep and no two versions are ever like. It basically says people like to fuck, but leave it to ATW to take it to completely new level.
