Was listening to Ken Boothes Mr Rock Steady on the tube and saw this on te side panel, puts the hairs on the back of my neck on end just like the original, one can't fake a reaction like that these have something authentic that reponds to the original. Looking forward to hearing more from All them Witches.
This might be one of my favourite covers of any song that's out there, its such a chilled out and spaced out re-imagination of a song (and artist) that really created this relatively new genre of psychedelia, now we can hear how it has advanced since Jimi and I just know this album will show us all the different branches that have come from psychedelic/stoner rock... You might be thinking of "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)", which is actually a different song. Jimi did two versions of the song, this is a cover of the longer, slower "Voodoo Chile"

@@n34z3r voodoo chile (slight return) doesn't exist. Voodoo Chile and Voodoo _Child_ (Slight Return) are two different songs. With interpretation he means a musical interpretation. I.e. not copying a song directly but taking the core feeling and theme of the song along with the lyrics and playing it in one's own style. This can range from a cover with a stylistic spin of the band playing it to a song who's sole common element are the lyrics.
