I have been watching this channel since 4U, I was 14 years old. Now, I am almost 23 and still watch your guys' content. I love MH content creators especially since we have all been lucky enough to see this great game and community grow over these years! But whenever I need my MH fix, if I ever need set guides or whatever else, for the past almost 10 years I have been watching this channel and it has helped me grow so much as a MH player because of it. Thanks so much for all the hard work you put in guys :))
Without the amazing content you guys have put out over the years I doubt I would have put the thousands of hours that I did into Monster Hunter. You guys really spurred me (and my friends) on to become the best hunters we could be! Thank you!

I believe your channel will explode! with the next Monster Hunter release. And I hope next MH is using MHWorld DNA.
Its not just because of burnout but Rise and also Sunbreak just didn't grab people like any other MH before them did. Many content creators I used to watch went awol or quit after Rise released with some stating they would be back for MH6. Pretty much what you mentioned anyway. Personally for me as a non-content creator/speedrunner Rise and Sunbreak have their good points but they also feel like the worst games to me or I just did not enjoy them as much as any other title (yes including MH1). Something felt off about since I tried the demo.
I've always admired or more like envied content creators like you guys that focus on one single game, cus everytime I play a game I quickly get bored of it weither I already finished it or not so I can totally understand how hard it must be to still make content on the same game over and over again
i cant wait for the moment the new monster hunter will hit and you guys will gett ALL the attention you deserve, getting to 2mil subscribers will be very easy at that point! But right now i understand it might be difficult as a content creator... your videos are the best in out community, keep up the great work!!

You guys truly put out some of the most high quality and well thought out content of any creators I have ever come across, even outside of gaming as a whole. Any community would be blessed to have such dedicated and caring creators such as Team Darkside, and having been a Monster Hunter Veteran now for over 10 years myself, I can say that I have been spoiled time and again. To think I followed you guys all the way back during Tri, up to post Sunbreak now, is unreal to me. Tds made me want to speedrun they made me like speedrun and now I had the chance to play with the people i watched when I was younger it s crazy time goes so fast I was still in 2018 in my head but another 5 year past by and the channel kept getting better . Thank for everything and good luck !

I started gained interest in MH games backthen from MHFU in my PSP. I didn't even know you guys exist. Years later when MHW released i got so hyped i really want to play the games and seing you guys cracked at the game makes me more exited. Sadly I always late to join the hype train because i can't afford the game day 1 of the release bcs i'm broke asf. Keep up the great work guys! You guys the best! I've Been playing since 2009, and was somewhat into speedruns in the Tri Wii era, you know, Alatreon cluster, sleepbombing, trap spamming with 4 lances... all that good stuff, but we didn't have recording capacities. One day I remember my team and I seeing one of your old videos and be like, wow! These guys are coming up with cool tactics, let's try that out! And that feeling has been replicated now plenty of times by you guys, you make me wanna relive the glory days! hahah Much love and support, hope we keep getting banger MH games so you can keep putting out banger videos for 10 years more!❤
Congratulations on 10th anniversary Team Darkside. 🎉 I'm following you guys since MH3 videos, it was a long time ago and I'm always proud of you hard working. I understand well what some poeple leave playing MH because since I was a older MH player o didn't really liked MHW since the game still had many hit boxes bugs and as more focused on new players anyway, and I don't had the consoles to play this new game anyway, I had played to some extent on friends consoles but seing as the game lacked offline solo mode and stuff it really annoyind me so yeah I have many motives to hate MHW despite it being famous and big, I'd play in my tiny 3DS (first model) any day even with worse graphics than play a good graphics game like MHW and sell my soul to the devil because I noticed a lot of lack of content in MHW and for me the game was a lot worse. But despite that I still with you guys, watching your MHW vídeos trying to get motivated and trying to avoid salth commenting just to fail xD real sorry for that. I managed to get a Switch ans play MHR but the same happened with MHW and I didn't really liked the new gameplay wirebugs or the lack of content, I didn't get used yet to the monster being marked on map at quest start, or the monsters fighting each other instead of the Hunter or they spread after each turf war instead of changing target to the Hunter, I mean the MH games are notorious for being hard amd Capcom is making EVERYTHING IT COULD TO MAKE IT EASIER?! Wtf I couldn't stand that. Sorry. I disliked even the way Hunter can run while drinking a potion now because it makes no sense even in a action game because if you are targeting realism you don't really expected potions are going to be digested righ away and get the desired effect in your body, etcetera. Anyway I finished MHR and didn't really convinced to buy sunbreak. Sadly not after Capcom ported the MHR to PC or others BETTER consoles and with version way better the the original on switch without cross plataform play, I will play tye worst version and play a expensive price (because games are really overpriced here in Brazil). It really makes no sense to me. But I will keep with you guys, even if I didn't play MH anymore I'm still curious about the new games just to see what they will became, and I don't expect the franshize to lose its charm and gameplay to became like other hack n slash games at least. That was a long rant on my part and sorry to make you read it all. Congratulation again for such a milestone 😊

Been there with you since 2014 (began my mh journey with Freedom Unite, never stopped since). MH is basically my whole teenage years. We were few but hard-core passionates and seeing the license blow up along you guys is really something to me. Keep it strong guys
Burnout is one of the most frustrating aspects of content creation, especially when running multiple channels with different games. It becomes even more challenging and depressing when focusing on gameplay, as I struggle with speaking English. but here I am, playing MHW in 2024, trying to create "good" gameplay videos. Then, I see channels like yours, with speedrunners who have an incredible amount of knowledge about the game. like wtf am I doing now, I don't even know how the equipment works in this game. Can you give me some advice, please? Or did I just choose the wrong game? I was really hooked by the MHWild trailer, which is why I wanted to atleast know about the game. Anyway, great content, man! Honestly you guys stuck it out longer than I have, I started around 2015 and got burned out after Rise and Sunbreak being fun but overall disappointing. I suppose playing FU, P3, 3U, 4U, GU, Iceborne, and SB along with DS1-3, BB, and other similar games in the span of 7 years prolly also has something to do with it but still.
Fingers crossed for the next big MH game ! MHW/I were huge ! MHR/S were nice. I hope the next one will be AWESOME ! And I will wait for your choregraphies and speedruns and Gone Wrongs and no armors and not dying and max damage and... everything ! See you in the next one TDS ! 😉
You guys from TDS are a big reason people joined the MH Community Chris ! By all means we all know World Release killed it but you are a very big part of it and ever since you started seriously pushing content you cannot be replaced. Monster Hunter is not the same anymore if you guys would quit doing your videos ! Im very motivated for the future release of the new big title capcom announced and im sure most of the community is praying for MHW2 right, what else can it be ? Yo, the so called Björn here haha Actually the funniest part is, that I called them the "darkside" because they did a run with a guy called Chris (a different one, also known as Matsuki) because for some reason I didn't like him at that time. Just a few weeks later we did many 2p speedruns and also did a 999 together quest. Guess no one could've expected at that time, that the channel would run videos for 10 years. Keep up the work and do one thing every creator should: Enjoy it 🙏

I started Monster Hunter with Generations because a friend got me into it and I loved the monsters. However, I was so horrible at the game and very quickly quit. Then I got Rise, and it was okay. I played for a while and it was fun, but I still kind of sucked. But recently I got Monster Hunter World after finally getting a gaming pc, and I felt everything change. The scale of everything, the gameplay, the graphics, the experience. It keeps me coming back when I have the time. It's a beautiful and awesome game and it certainly deserves a revival.
Thanks for the content! Everytime when my duo-buddy and me finished a monster in MHW the first time, i told him: "We were slower than Team Darkside, we have to improve." :He doesn't like you guys because of this. 🤣😂😝
I am one of the newbies in monster hunter my first monster hunter game is world. I'm still remembered the first time I kill great jagras, first time I faint and quest failed. It's all happening while I watch your channel. Congrats on TDS 10th years anniversary you all are special.
I'll admit that I'm not a regular viewer of this channel, but I really think TDS are some of the best Monster Hunter players and and youtubers out there. You guys rock and you make me love Monster Hunter even more by showing just how cool and crazy it can get. Here's hoping MH6 blows World out of the water. I'm have gotten in on Monster Hunter around the time of World and I may not play it every day, but I'll never sto0 loving these games. When 4U came out I was in middle school, Addicted to the game. played almost every damn day. I discovered you guys and watched for a while before I heard Gen game out and thats when I lost interest in M.H in general. Fast forward to 2020 I bought World On PC and discovered you guys again, so much memories came flooding back trying to speed run like you guys when I was a kid.
Man I’ve been playing monster hunter since it came out on psp and I just now discovered this UA-cam community I had never seen before you guy have some incredible videos I’ve mostly grinder solo for all of monster hunter and never had many chances to play with other people but watching some of the crazy stuff you guys pull off and the funny glitch’s and moments gone terribly wrong is absolutely hilarious thanks for promoting the game that got me into gaming all those years ago I’m glad we still have a community after many of Capcoms questionable decisions 🤦🏼♂️😅😂 keep up the good work the community still needs dedicated people to show off the fun sides of these games I love so much
Will never stop watching your amazing content, my lad. I first stumbled across Monster Hunter when I was shopping at a local Disc Replay shop near my area one day, bored and looking for something fun to try out. I saw a copy of Monster Hunter World Iceborne, hardcopy, on the shelf for a huge discount, and since I saw it was made by Capcom, I decided to give it a try. I fell in love. I thoroughly enjoyed it, still enjoy it, and even recently purchased Rise for Steam (even tho I originally had it on my Switch....before it broke). I would love nothing more than to hop onto World sometime with the rest of you, or with other people in the comment section, just hit me up if you're willing. I warn you I'm not a speedrunner, nor do I play by the meta, I like to try out all the different features of a game that's available to truly understand what the devs gave us, since they work so hard to make each thing in a game, so I sometimes play suboptimally on purpose just so I can try out a unique feature or see a unique scenario play out. And I also really enjoy story too, so I never skip out on that. But TDS? Thank you guys for entertaining me and my fellows all this time, even the little time I've known about you. Even if you decided at some point to take a break to recover from burnout, know we'll always be here ready for anything you shell out to us. :3
Your videos sometimes gave me a reference for playing, and sometimes gave me excitement with novel techniques. I think you guys are the best Monster Hunter players. I'm Japanese, so I'm using a translation. Sorry if my English is weird.
If you struggle with ideas, my suggestion would be an even harder version of no damage world, a No Hit run like what f.e. GinoMachino does on Elden Ring (idk if that's possible, but hey you don't have to reset from effluvium anymore) Keep up the good work- only if it remains fun to you of course👍
That's Capcom fault for releasing Rise & Sunbreak on console so far apart from the Switch & PC versions. There's no reason as to why console didn't get Rise and Sunbreak right when PC got it. A lot of ppl even bought a Switch just to play Rise, only to be told it was coming to consider later.
I'm here since Iceborn and i love this Channel! At the moment i don't even play MH but i still watch most of your new videos. ^^ I need more speedruns from HCZS xD I love his CB play and learned a lot from him. (sorry if there are some mistakes, i'm not very fluent in english. feel free to correct me)

Even until now I still couldn't be able to play any monster hunter games, bc i don't have the device and I live in a place where everything is expensive, and i can only afford my daily needs. But I'm really grateful because of your videos, i still have my motivation to do my best and hope that one day i can also afford/play the game without worrying about anything. As you said...normal players just keep playing different games. The moment you put Vuze on the screen my heart broke a bit. Yeah most content creators just left really early. Keep going guys. I have played the MH series since MH freedom 2 as a "casual" player If I were to compare myself to you guys. I'd just try to get all or most achievments in every MH game I had and what you've said about getting tired of it its completely understandable(especially with how you take Monster Hunter professionaly). If you ever need to take breaks, feel free to do so, we have plenty of content that will remain on youtube as part of history :)

I understand well what some poeple leave playing MH because since I was a older MH player o didn't really liked MHW since the game still had many hit boxes bugs and as more focused on new players anyway, and I don't had the consoles to play this new game anyway, I had played to some extent on friends consoles but seing as the game lacked offline solo mode and stuff it really annoyind me so yeah I have many motives to hate MHW despite it being famous and big, I'd play in my tiny 3DS (first model) any day even with worse graphics than play a good graphics game like MHW and sell my soul to the devil because I noticed a lot of lack of content in MHW and for me the game was a lot worse.
But despite that I still with you guys, watching your MHW vídeos trying to get motivated and trying to avoid salth commenting just to fail xD real sorry for that.
I managed to get a Switch ans play MHR but the same happened with MHW and I didn't really liked the new gameplay wirebugs or the lack of content, I didn't get used yet to the monster being marked on map at quest start, or the monsters fighting each other instead of the Hunter or they spread after each turf war instead of changing target to the Hunter, I mean the MH games are notorious for being hard amd Capcom is making EVERYTHING IT COULD TO MAKE IT EASIER?! Wtf I couldn't stand that. Sorry. I disliked even the way Hunter can run while drinking a potion now because it makes no sense even in a action game because if you are targeting realism you don't really expected potions are going to be digested righ away and get the desired effect in your body, etcetera.
Anyway I finished MHR and didn't really convinced to buy sunbreak. Sadly not after Capcom ported the MHR to PC or others BETTER consoles and with version way better the the original on switch without cross plataform play, I will play tye worst version and play a expensive price (because games are really overpriced here in Brazil). It really makes no sense to me.
But I will keep with you guys, even if I didn't play MH anymore I'm still curious about the new games just to see what they will became, and I don't expect the franshize to lose its charm and gameplay to became like other hack n slash games at least.
That was a long rant on my part and sorry to make you read it all.

Burnout is one of the most frustrating aspects of content creation, especially when running multiple channels with different games. It becomes even more challenging and depressing when focusing on gameplay, as I struggle with speaking English. but here I am, playing MHW in 2024, trying to create "good" gameplay videos. Then, I see channels like yours, with speedrunners who have an incredible amount of knowledge about the game. like wtf am I doing now, I don't even know how the equipment works in this game.
Can you give me some advice, please? Or did I just choose the wrong game? I was really hooked by the MHWild trailer, which is why I wanted to atleast know about the game. Anyway, great content, man! 8:15 sumps up the reason why it failed and the hype died, the next MH game needs to be closer to 4ULTIMATE and WORLD/ICEBORNE.
You should take after another good content creator doing '' WE TRIED 5 GAMES LIKE MONSTER HUNTER''' Series of videos with a couple or one game like MH and show us the exploit/minmax ways you guys think and content create with some amusement and stuff ? idk
My gameplay in MH game now 1000+ and Im never quit. Still, I still cant touch 5th gen MH, but its so fun watch MH content here....

Honestly you guys stuck it out longer than I have, I started around 2015 and got burned out after Rise and Sunbreak being fun but overall disappointing. I suppose playing FU, P3, 3U, 4U, GU, Iceborne, and SB along with DS1-3, BB, and other similar games in the span of 7 years prolly also has something to do with it but still.

Actually the funniest part is, that I called them the "darkside" because they did a run with a guy called Chris (a different one, also known as Matsuki) because for some reason I didn't like him at that time. Just a few weeks later we did many 2p speedruns and also did a 999 together quest.
Guess no one could've expected at that time, that the channel would run videos for 10 years. Keep up the work and do one thing every creator should: Enjoy it 🙏

I started Monster Hunter with Generations because a friend got me into it and I loved the monsters. However, I was so horrible at the game and very quickly quit. Then I got Rise, and it was okay. I played for a while and it was fun, but I still kind of sucked. But recently I got Monster Hunter World after finally getting a gaming pc, and I felt everything change. The scale of everything, the gameplay, the graphics, the experience. It keeps me coming back when I have the time. It's a beautiful and awesome game and it certainly deserves a revival.
Thanks for the content! Everytime when my duo-buddy and me finished a monster in MHW the first time, i told him: "We were slower than Team Darkside, we have to improve." :He doesn't like you guys because of this. 🤣😂😝
I am one of the newbies in monster hunter my first monster hunter game is world. I'm still remembered the first time I kill great jagras, first time I faint and quest failed. It's all happening while I watch your channel. Congrats on TDS 10th years anniversary you all are special.
I'll admit that I'm not a regular viewer of this channel, but I really think TDS are some of the best Monster Hunter players and and youtubers out there. You guys rock and you make me love Monster Hunter even more by showing just how cool and crazy it can get. Here's hoping MH6 blows World out of the water. I'm have gotten in on Monster Hunter around the time of World and I may not play it every day, but I'll never sto0 loving these games. When 4U came out I was in middle school, Addicted to the game. played almost every damn day. I discovered you guys and watched for a while before I heard Gen game out and thats when I lost interest in M.H in general. Fast forward to 2020 I bought World On PC and discovered you guys again, so much memories came flooding back trying to speed run like you guys when I was a kid.
Man I’ve been playing monster hunter since it came out on psp and I just now discovered this UA-cam community I had never seen before you guy have some incredible videos I’ve mostly grinder solo for all of monster hunter and never had many chances to play with other people but watching some of the crazy stuff you guys pull off and the funny glitch’s and moments gone terribly wrong is absolutely hilarious thanks for promoting the game that got me into gaming all those years ago I’m glad we still have a community after many of Capcoms questionable decisions 🤦🏼♂️😅😂 keep up the good work the community still needs dedicated people to show off the fun sides of these games I love so much
Will never stop watching your amazing content, my lad. I first stumbled across Monster Hunter when I was shopping at a local Disc Replay shop near my area one day, bored and looking for something fun to try out. I saw a copy of Monster Hunter World Iceborne, hardcopy, on the shelf for a huge discount, and since I saw it was made by Capcom, I decided to give it a try. I fell in love. I thoroughly enjoyed it, still enjoy it, and even recently purchased Rise for Steam (even tho I originally had it on my Switch....before it broke).
I would love nothing more than to hop onto World sometime with the rest of you, or with other people in the comment section, just hit me up if you're willing. I warn you I'm not a speedrunner, nor do I play by the meta, I like to try out all the different features of a game that's available to truly understand what the devs gave us, since they work so hard to make each thing in a game, so I sometimes play suboptimally on purpose just so I can try out a unique feature or see a unique scenario play out. And I also really enjoy story too, so I never skip out on that.
But TDS? Thank you guys for entertaining me and my fellows all this time, even the little time I've known about you. Even if you decided at some point to take a break to recover from burnout, know we'll always be here ready for anything you shell out to us. :3
Your videos sometimes gave me a reference for playing, and sometimes gave me excitement with novel techniques. I think you guys are the best Monster Hunter players.

If you struggle with ideas, my suggestion would be an even harder version of no damage world, a No Hit run like what f.e. GinoMachino does on Elden Ring (idk if that's possible, but hey you don't have to reset from effluvium anymore)

That's Capcom fault for releasing Rise & Sunbreak on console so far apart from the Switch & PC versions. There's no reason as to why console didn't get Rise and Sunbreak right when PC got it. A lot of ppl even bought a Switch just to play Rise, only to be told it was coming to consider later.

Aww. You put our runs into the video. I remember the evenings we have spent on the 3 hit alatreon video. Nostalgia. I think everyone should understand why you want to keep a break from time to time. As you said...normal players just keep playing different games. The moment you put Vuze on the screen my heart broke a bit. Yeah most content creators just left really early. Keep going guys. I have played the MH series since MH freedom 2 as a "casual" player If I were to compare myself to you guys. I'd just try to get all or most achievments in every MH game I had and what you've said about getting tired of it its completely understandable(especially with how you take Monster Hunter professionaly). If you ever need to take breaks, feel free to do so, we have plenty of content that will remain on youtube as part of history :)
