I grew up in basketball crazy Kentucky.
Ive played, coached and reffed this game for 56 years.
I am most impressed with Jordan and the Bulls as a whole having the ability to play against any type of team and win.
They could beat a bully type team like the Pistons or Knicks then out finesse a Utah or Lakers and beat anyone in between.

He shot 50% in his Chicago days and 49% in the Playoffs. He is the best defensive guard ever. As far as leadership and bringing those around him up to excellence; he is the best there has ever been. There is no quit in him, he competes till the end, and he had a motor. He was finesse, strength and agility all in one. There might have been as skilled players, but they're all missing his mental edge. Kobe may have been the closest but he needed to witness Mike... and receive the tutelage from him to put it all together. Mike is the player who all will be measured against.

In a pivotal game 4 of the finals between the Bulls and the Jazz, MJ showed up with "flu like symptoms". In short, he was sick as a dog. The video footage looked like Scottie Pippen was carrying Jordan when he was collapsing in his arms but the real question is, where the "F" was Scottie Pippen in that game? Why didn't he step up and take over instead of leaving in the hands of his "terrible teammate" who was under the weather? This kind of thing happened quite a lot during the time that those two played together. Pippen would put up bad numbers and MJ would take it home. Look at the 1998 finals for instance... was it Pippen who scored 45 points and made the last three clutch plays to win their 6th title? No. He was ineffective because of having back spasms so it all rested on MJ's shoulders. I can go on with examples of this. Pippen needs to just STFU and appreciate the greatest player to ever lace them up making it possible for him to win 6 titles. Yes, Pippen was a great Robin but Jordan was Batman. Let's not forget that.

I'm not a huge fan of stats but they speak for themselves
Despite the fact MJ retired two times before the end of his career, he was the scoring champ 10 times (nearly 10 straight years of playing)...that's why he was so high in the scoring list despite a smaller career... With Gary Payton, he is the guard with the most selections in NBA defensive teams (9, all in the first team) behind Pippen and Kobe (very impressive for Kobe tho! The black Mamba has 12 selections!!! he is second in the list with KG, behind Tim Duncan)
Not he was the goat only for the elegance etc.
MJ was a real Killer on the floor, a guy that can beat a team by himself (of course his teammates were all important, im not taking anything from Pippen, Harper, Rodman, Horace etc.). But They all know the shots were for him, the cluth was for him... and more than 10 years.
That's why all the old head have this dominance impression of MJ. They all of a taste of the craziness of the man on the floor. Its not just being competitive, HE was the competitiveness, the will, the fuel of an absolute winning machine.
The reason I put him first is that MJ is the guy a the playground, you know he was gonna smack the shit outta every team that came to play, 3 hours straight. Everybody was afraid of him (now i see yall coming with the "he didnt win every time, you are a blind fan...come down, its just a methafor). MJ did this in the NBA, 82 games, For years

That was with both his 2nd season with the broken foot and his 18 game season when he unretired in 1995. Now if I take those 2 seasons out of the mix and make it 20 years it would be 10K more than Kareem over his career. I did include his Washington time in my figures. So think about this. Yo brudda - I always wanted to put a MJ 🐐video together- but never got around to do it-it would take some work from you putting it together-gots to love your passion for Mike-I have that same passion for the Greatest Basketball player ever- so figured you could truly show What separates him from the rest! His ability to cut in between others and breaking ankles! Still no one sliced and diced threw traffic like he did! There’s other great players to do it- although Mike went through and around them in such a way that separates him from the rest- figured I’d see if that was something you would put together to show the world who the goat 🐐 really is! Just sharing my idea! And of course representing anything that’s makes MJ the Best-feel like no one shows those accents of his Game

Imo if Krause had signed Moses Malone the year before our first Championship that would have been a 4 peat.

I like Sheed, but he was wilding in that interview. MJ is actually the player with the most scoring titles AND all-defensive first team selections. He has the unbeatable mark of most consecutive scoring titles with 7.
