MJ the GOAT has been recognized for decades. The legend will be told. Doesn't matter the era. You either wanted to emulate him, you were in awe of him, you feared him or you wanted to take him down because you knew you couldn't handle him. He came, he saw, he conquered.

Hey I’ve got some really great news to share with you, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on a cross and resurrected on the third day so you may all have eternal life. If you believe and repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Him as you would a parachute jumping off a plane at 25000 feet up in the air, He will give you eternal life in heaven as a free gift and I promise you, He will change your life forever as He did mine. He is the ONLY way to heaven and He loves you all. Please think deeply about this with urgency because this is your eternal life and soul, you don’t know when you could die, meaning you could die at any moment, so please consider this with all your heart. If anyone tells you that Jesus isn’t the only way, they are lying to you and they don’t care about your future

My Favorite MJ story is the 2 3-Peats!
I grew up watching MJ play, his 1st retirement happened when I was 16.
I graduated HS in 94 and he came back at the end of the 94-95 season.
The whole city followed his insane workout routine with the team after that Loss to the Magic in the come back playoffs. When that 95-96 season started MJ was a Man on a Mission! I am forever grateful for the Greatness I got to witness that and the next 2 seasons!
I will forever be grateful that I got to witness MJs entire career!

Once he left Chicago, basketball just wasn’t anywhere nearly as exciting as it was when MJ played. I am from NY but would watch any and every game they televised of the Bulls. And there were many bc it was friggin Michael Jordan. Lol. Best to EVER do it. Point. Period. Blank

I grew up in Chi Town, I've witnessed every Chicago Team win a World Title., from the Bulls 6 Titles, and while the Blackhawks have Won 6 Stanley Cups, I only remember 3 of those 6, 2010, 2013, and 2015. They also won in 1933, and 1937, they owned the Cup in 1961, for which I don't remember because I was 8 years old being born in 1953. The 2005 White Soxs and 2016 Cubs have World Series titles, the "85"- "86" Chicago Bears were Super Bowl Champions. The Chicago Sky of the WNBA won their title in 2021

MJ retired as scoring champ and then came back as scoring champ. He typically plays 80 games per season his entire career. He would no doubt have 5000 more points otherwise.
He also actually attended 3 years in college or he would have another 5000 points no doubt. Lebron just played longer. MJ played less not because he was washed up. He was not washed up in 1993.
He proved it when he came back to win mvp, 1st team all defense, scoring champ, all star mvp, nba champ and finals mvp.

No need to put it like that, just look at his ppg and that is much more meaningful stat than total scored which is more of a longevity stat.
Also, his stint as a Wizard reduced his career ppg because of that knee injury he suffered.

3 years more in college, 2 seasons at 1st retirement, 3 seasons of 2nd retirement...

Michael Jordan's creativity and scoring prowess on the basketball court are indeed legendary. He had a unique ability to adapt his game, find new ways to score, and consistently outmaneuver his defenders, making him a once-in-a-lifetime player. Here are a few aspects that highlight his unparalleled ingenuity and skill:
      1. Unmatched Athleticism and Hang Time
Jordan's ability to hang in the air longer than his defenders gave him a significant advantage. His acrobatic layups, dunks, and mid-air adjustments were not only effective but also mesmerizing to watch.
      2. Signature Moves
Jordan had several signature moves that became iconic:
The fade-away Jump Shot: A nearly unblockable shot due to his elevation and the angle at which he released the ball.
The Pump Fake: He often used a pump fake to get defenders in the air, then either drew a foul or took an open shot.
The Crossover Dribble: His quick and deceptive crossover left many defenders off-balance.
      3. Clutch Performances
Jordan was known for his ability to perform under pressure. His game-winning shots, like "The Shot" over Craig Ehlo and the last-second jumper in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz, are etched in basketball history.
      4. Versatility and Adaptability
Jordan continuously evolved his game. Early in his career, he relied heavily on his athleticism and drives to the basket. As he aged, he developed a more refined post-game, often backing down defenders and using fade-aways and turnarounds.
      5. Mind Games and Psychological Edge
MJ was a master of psychological warfare, often intimidating his opponents and getting into their heads. This mental edge, combined with his physical skills, made him nearly unbeatable.
      6. Highlights and Lesser-Known Moves
While many of Jordan's famous plays are well-documented, there are countless moments in his career where his creativity shone through in ways that may not have been captured extensively. From split-second decisions on the court to subtle maneuvers that threw off defenders, his full repertoire included moves that are rarely seen even today.
      7. Training and Work Ethic
Jordan's dedication to his craft was unparalleled. His rigorous training routines, relentless practice, and commitment to improving every aspect of his game ensured that he was always at the top of his form.
To see more of Jordan's extraordinary plays, many compilations and highlight reels are available on platforms like UA-cam. Additionally, documentaries such as "The Last Dance" provide deeper insights into his career, mindset, and the context behind some of his most memorable moments on the court.
For those who grew up watching Jordan, his impact on the game and his unique style of play remain unmatched. While there are many talented players in the NBA today, Michael Jordan's blend of athleticism, creativity, and competitive spirit set a standard that continues to inspire and awe basketball fans around the world.
FACT: Jordan's career, especially his retirement and return, exemplifies the profound connection between sports and economics. His influence on Wall Street highlights the broader economic impact of superstar athletes and the interconnectedness of sports and financial markets.
      Now... I REST MY CASE!!

I know MJ hates being called the GOAT, but to me he's the greatest to ever play the game. Right behind him is Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. There are very few players who can say they changed the NBA, there are only 3 who can say they changed the game in the greatest and toughest era of the NBA.
The players of todays NBA cant compare the the players of the 80s and 90s. LeBron is a great player and has enormous stats but he did in a soft, watered down league.
He didn't have to face tough hardcore physical defense. If he played against a prime shaq under 80s and 90s rules he would have hit the floor a lot, or he wouldn't have drove to the hole at all.
Jordan went through hell to get his first championship, the bad boys Pistons were no joke and Rodman admitted they were trying to hurt him. There's no comparison!!

I think it was game 1 of the '91 Finals Bulls vs. Lakers, torch passing from Johnson to Jordan. I was at a summer Bible camp(shoutout Palmetto Bible Camp), watching it on a little 13" black & white tv in the cafeteria. Jordan takes the ball to the paint like he's going to dunk it but switches in mid-air to his left hand for a layup(he totally could have crashed that dunk home). The announcers were going crazy, it was spectacular but I remember thinking, "That's Mike, that's what he does".
It was really something special to be able to grow up watching Michael Jordan play basketball. The 1992 Olympic Dream Team will never be matched.

That was the biggest reason he came back to basketball. Otherwise I have no doubt he would have secured a spot on the White Sox MLB roster. Especially considering that the media spent a lot of time making fun of him for deciding to play baseball. His minor league team loved and respected him as a baseball player. At my own age now of almost 45 years old. And MJ is years retired from NBA basketbal, and his glory years with the Chicago Bulls, in the 80's and 90's. I'am still a true fan of him. Because he is and there's now doubt about him, The Greatest Player there ever was and ever will be.
And mark my words if there where no issues with General Manager Jerry Kraus at that time in 1998. For signing in again contracts for Jordan, Pippen and Rodman the years to come. Because Jerry Kraus wanted an other team for the Chicaga Bulls. Michael Jordan and this powerfull team, had at least won 2 more NBA champion chips. With 8 NBA titles on his name...
You've got to see my closet it's full of MJ's stuff, T-shirt, Sweaters and also several pears of Jordans old and new ones. I still love this incredible man, as a person and a player at his time. No more then allot of respect. A true Fan. Greetings From Belgium!
Yeahh even on the other side of the world in Europe Michael Jordan is still A LEGEND with his famous number 23! And again thanks MJ for those wonderfull years, of my childhood that i looked up to you, as an own basketball player with my team. 🙏💪🙌🏀

This was a very, very good documentary on MJ. It's very interesting to see how he's evolved through the decades
I was in 3rd grade when I first saw him in the championship game. Back then the "chump" caused me to lose a $.25 bet😁😉.
All due, to him hitting that shot, I couldn't STAND THE DUDE😄.
Then living in Chicago, the sports legend was Walter Payton, primarily. MJ swiftly and eventually took over that mantle. I was heavily sports minded and very impressionable in those years.
Moving on, MJ superseded whatever expectations there were. I completely agree with his accessment on the GOAT actualization. I got older buddies that speak very highly of those that came before him
I will say though, that irregardless of the eras, he's certainly near the top of the GOAT list, if not the top.
And, lastly, even though the current era of NBA ballers are freakish in nature, it has in my opinion lost something that I can't put a finger on. I can hardly watch. Bron is good, but, as good as he is, it's something he lacks. That's my opinion, who am I😉

That’s until they were left staring at the bottom of them Jordan 1’s after taking flight ✈️ . Orlando was very underrated and would be a beast in any era but when the bulls organization and coaching staff let MJ loose it was curtains for the NBA. The late great Dean Smith was the only person to hold MJ down under 20 ppg. Imagine if Jordan had came in the league at the age of 18 years old and played his entire career without retiring twice?

Excellent point!!!! So obvious- but never heard this argument before. And MJ also brought NC a National Championship!! And: I don’t know his complete stats in the MLB, but I know he hit 1 home run for sure- Even one home run in the MLB in your “time off” from the NBA- Come on…. G.O.A.T. for sure all you haters!! Lol.

And Imagine if LeBron played in the 80s and 90s with phil jackson

@@RealMoneyMarche would be a bench warmer. You don’t get to take LeBron now, and just throw him into the 80’s, and 90’s. You have to also subtract modern medicine, load management, and the PED’s he’s been allowed to take. LeBron would be 30 lbs less, and look horrible like he did when he had to take two weeks off in the beginning of his second stint in Cleveland. Had to get back on the juice. Also, he wouldn’t be able to build Superteams. If Phil had Bron we would have never known who Phil was, and he also would have never coached Shaq, and Kobe. Bron has no bag.

@@RealMoneyMarc I copy nothing. I watched them both. There’s a reason it’s called the Golden Age. We can’t help that y’all soft as shit, and glorify a known quitter, flopper, and cheater who shoots 37% outside 3 feet, but what do y’all know? Y’all are confused on what a man, and woman is, so what would y’all know about basketball? Much less competition?

Humility adds up to the greatness of the Greatest Of All Time, Michael "Air" Jordan

April 5th, 1996, Michael, and the Chicago Bulls visit the Charlotte Hornets. I look up at the scoreboard during the game and see the bulls leading the hornets 20 to 0, in the first half. Best start to a basketball game ever in my opinion. Never, ever piss off Michael.

I ain't never heard nobody say what BJ Armstrong just said about Michael Jordan. I have never heard nobody say that about no other player especially LeBron. This man was not sleeping or eating. That's insane. And you know that old catchphrase keep that same energy man. You just heard BJ Armstrong. Mike took that keep that same energy theory to a whole new level. I wonder what could he have done if he had a slept more but then again when you got it you just got it and boy did he have it
