The sad thing is the main story sucked but all of the dlcs have been good to excellent. They really screwed up the main story in my opinion.

I'm not intending on purchasing the DLC after the atrocious main story but I have to ask have the DLC's fixed the story atleast somewhat or are they just standalone?
@@knavenformed9436 The DLC are standalone and I have yet to play the latest DLC. First DLC is robbing Handsome Jack's casino which was done rather beautifully and it's where one of my favorite gun comes from along with having a side quest hit me right in the feels so I won't go into that one. The second DLC has a H.P. Lovecraft vibe while having this big wedding between Hammerlock and Jakob Wainwright which was also done rather nice and the story kept me intrigued. As for the third DLC it didn't really stick for me for some reason yet lots of other people loved it. Overall the DLC's have been a blast and the story for them are far better then the story we got from the main game and each DLC (minus the third one) reintroduced past favorite characters and so far the first two I have played constantly.

I just hoped they would redeem my hope for the story in BL after the red herring ending of TPS and whatever the ending of BL3 was supposed to be.

The idea for this DLC is pretty good based on BL2, but I don't have trust in the writing actually delivering at all.
Especially after hearing a professional doctor be censored down to "eat poop" level of jokes in an """M""" rated game.
yeah this dlc was pretty bland, it doesnt really explain anything on what krieg has been doing all these years
@@qu0t4 During the DLC you learn that he ran with the raiders after BL2 story, raiding COV strongholds and in echo logs around the game you learn that after Maya left for Athenas he secludes himself in order to try and gain control of himself for when she returns. There's certainly a gap in there but I also don't think we need one, the DLC isn't about where Krieg was it's about who he is and going into more depth in on the history and surrounding info about our 2 least known character (behind Zer0 ofc) and in that regard I think it delivered really well, this was the most enjoyable DLC for me, setting was beautiful and creative, several locations I just sat and watched for a few minutes because it just looked awesome, the ending felt satisfying (given the story we already have obviously a better ending would be with a living Maya but that's not the DLCs fault, and really loved thoes little side quests that where just talking to krieg it added some really nice insight into sane Krieg (the part of him we know the least about). Is it perfect, obviously not it's borderlands it's always been an imperfect series in regards to its story telling, but this was the only DLC that I left wanting more, which is always a good thing.
@@qu0t4 You learn what Krieg has been doing for the past 7 years in the Echo logs in Konrad's hold. This DLC is meant to help him complete himself (not just with Maya's death but) with...well, Everything, LITERALLY Everything.
I read this somewhere. Krieg gets to know about Maya's death, then his intro plays with the wordings - "Two souls. BOTH MAD."

Still can't decide which one I like the most, since they are all great, but the theme is the most interesting one, slightly above Cthulhu.
Also, it's kinda sad in places, didn't expect that, but overall, it's amazing.
I hope Krieg doesn't find out what happens to Maya in this, he'll kill the entire population of pandora, also there's loaders in this DLC so does that potentially mean Nomads? I miss those guys

This is probably my favorite DLC so far, it was really fun to play and there was kind of heartwarming at the end, no, it was really heartwarming at the end

For anyone having problems installing the deal see where it says it cost money even though you have the season pass go to season pass and you should have to reinstall it for some reason the season pass needed to be updated for her to include the psycho Creek one so it’s all the problem is

The devs have stated multiple times that they won't add any additional playable VHs. It's what's stopped me from buying any dlc tbh

My big dream was that they would have a Krieg centric DLC that focused on trying to bring Maya back from the dead. (It would have started with Krieg grabbing Ava and hijacking a spaceship.) That won't happen so I guess this will have to do. I'm not too happy though.

The single thing I wanted from this dlc, was to see Krieg's reaction to Maya's death. Was so disappointed he already knew when we meet him. I wanted so bad to see Krieg lose his shit and go crazy then go on a murder/killing spree.

Recently discovered the borderlands series and im totally in love ! All about fun, really like that i dont feel the rush to grind and be the best just to keep with the game (ala destiny). This makes it such a relaxing and soothing gaming experience. Just wish there were a little bit more matchmaking stuff since i dont have friends.

You get that Dead Rising 4 kind of feeling. It is not bad or terrible, but not daring to come up with cool things is. Disappointing. The final boss of this DLC is a fucking pushover. Neh. 100% this entire game and that will be it. (Also: Why 1935G and not a round 2000?!)
