I really like Zane, but a robot that becomes sentient, and identifies more with predatory animals on the hunt than humans is a really interesting backstory for a character. I might start a new game to play as Fl4k.

his abilities is to summon rakk, go invisible or do a gamma boost on the pet thats out but you can modufy the pet to be stronger

in borderlands universe there are mutated humans and animals, so zer0 could still be a skinny human with 4 fingers on each hand, just like katagawa, alien is a bit tough tho since we still haven't seen much sapient species other than the eridians in this series, my bet is that he is either a mutated human or a cyborg.

This was the first character I picked when playing the game and I only just now found out he's voiced by one of my favorite UA-camrs/skit producers. Props to ProZD man!
After seeing that all the pets have cybernetics, I have a question for the designer/community manager.
Did Fl4k find them as disabled, missing body parts, and gave them cybernetic implants or are they just augmentations?
well, skags if i remember right have poor eye sight already, and the spiderant looks like it was missing a leg, the rakks(or what ever they are since rakks don't have tails like thar i think) look untouched

Was I the only one that noticed that all 4 of these character trailers had the same song (or at least 3 notes) but in different variations?? Moze had a high impact edm version, zane had a more acoustic version, amara had a light piano with bad ass electric guitar and fl4k had a sweet ass rock version.

I feel like Zane fits the playstyle better, though. I main Zer0, and Zane is definitely my man this time around. I dig assassin classes, although Zane is a LOT more up-in-your-face than Zer0 is, which will take some getting used to

I watched this trailer a few times, and there's only one sentence he takes a while to say (chase cars line). The rest are said fairly normally.

I feel like the animals follow Fl4k for two possible reasons. PR1: They're being MIND CONTROLLED. It honestly doesn't seem too farfetched that Fl4k could be using technology to control them(aka the glasses on the Sk4g and the J4bber). PR2: Fl4k HELPED them in a near-death experience and they swore their lives to Fl4k. Like, for example the sp1der4nts leg is cybernetic. Maybe Fl4k helped the sp1der4nt walk again?
They do seem to geniunely love fl4k. Especially the jabbermon. I think its probably animals who they nursed back to health, and repaired in some way *i.e. buggy childs drill leg*. Theyre all just kindof a big wierd family, or pack.

@@kingknifr7828 I don't believe it will, though. Bloodwing died in 2, when Mordecai wasn't playable anymore and the players didn't lose any abillities from it. I doubt they will take away skills from FL4K while he is playable.
Of course, should there ever be more sequels, spin-offs or whatever, things could be different, but I think they will stick with the trilogy-idea, assuming that whatever survives Borderlands 3 has survived the franchise.
