One detail I love in the game is that Rhys had a lot of faith in Zer0's loyalty.
kind of too much, really
@@bruhman5829 not really considering he didn't betray him
@@wander1139 sure, but his faith in zer0 ran so deep that he didn’t even question it when someone who looked like zer0 started killing all his guys
@@bruhman5829 he did think he might have betrayed him he just wanted to believe that he hadn't he was in denial
I will never forgive how they used Aurelia in this game after she made so much progress in the pre-sequel...
Okay, Aurelia was never a good character. As my friend tells me every time he sees one of these comments, "She has a skill called "Indentured Servant" which has a player be your slave!" She may not be as evil as Handsome Jack, but she is not someone who would be considered an ally to the Crimson Raiders.
@@SamCrecco1 I've never played as her but I have heard people say that she has small moments of character development like apologizing to Hammerlock when she dies and later respawns and even realizes how terrible Jack has become and doesn't want to be working for him anymore, BL3 could've delved deeper into this and maybe slowly have her join the Crimson Raiders but instead we just kill her off
Yesss. It was so frustrating having her as a playable character, actually see have progress to being a slightly less snotty and shitty version of herself, even apologizing to CLAPTRAP at one point, to have all that reduced to a boss fight in the next game. I abhorred the writing for BL3 but this was particularly terrible.
Aurelia is out for herself and herself alone, if you're on her side she'll help, get in her way and she's likely shoot you, she's on her own side no one elses
She got a whiff of money and major power, and went back to her old ways.
Its always a treat to know Penn and Teller made it to the Borderlands Canon
Too bad they die. They were a treat to listen to as you battled your way to and through Carnivora. Sad that many of the secondary antagonists were better villains than the Calypso Twins.
@@Techhunter_Talon I would have preferred Troy betraying Tyreen. I thought Troy was the more tolerable of the twins
@@bornslippy7232 At this point, we can only hope that future villains end up being better.
@@Techhunter_Talon honestly a real let down after the masterpiece villain that is handsome jack, tho the dlcs were for the most part really good
IDK. It always makes me think of how much Randy loves to suck up to Penn and Teller
"Boss fight intro cutscenes"
**Shows Sir Hammerlock**
Me who is just getting to that part: *"He's a boss!?*
I thought the exact same thing
Well he is a boss.
he is our boss.
One thing that I really like is that when katagawa's blade is blocked by zer0 you can see that zer0's blade is blue where as katagawa's blade is green which kinda signals that zer0 is of higher quality than katagawa
Zero about to be unstoppable once he gets the orange blade
@@MothDax or the pearlescent, seraph or effervescent blade
Gotta love the glitch on PC where Freddie ends up being level 2. It's almost something they should just keep all for the comedic effect. He yells out that he has this only for him to get instantly floored by the Vault Hunter(s) and for his two named bots to be the actual bosses in that encounter.
Would have made sense by the way. He was a robot tech guy with maxed intelligence, and not some warrior.
@@akuladoctor7355 And it's not like Borderlands isn't a stranger to joke bosses like what happens with Dr. Nakayama in the Big Game Hunt DLC in Borderlands 2.
Wait thats a glitch? I thought that was a joke in game cause he's useless
Wait that was a glitch? I murdered him one shot. The real challenge was the robots. As he kept spouting, robots are better than people
Bl2 will always be my personal favourite in just about every way, but bl3 had some dope bosses. Graveward in particular had me smiling like an idiot the entire fight.
Fair
The Scraptrap intro is genuinely unnerving to me. The way they slowly struggle to crawl out of the darkness, only for them to suddenly go completely rampant is terrifying.
Gigamind's entrance managed to give a walking brain and eyeballs so much personality. The sheer confidence on this man(?) and that devious af walk cycle.
Maliwan may be pompous bastards who disregards their workers..but they do it in *STYLE*
I love that Traunt made the Hulk hogan pose lmao
Captain haunt looks like the spooky space kook from Scooby Doo
Honestly, Mouthpiece will always have my favorite intro animation. The way of visualizing sound into neon waves looks amazing, the distortion when he yells "you will DIE" is a really cool visual and sound component, and the sound design overall gives me chills.
Good stuff 👍
Scraptrap scares me the most
Nah, they are only goofy f*cks... Why "Claptrap's New Robot Revolution" is one of my favorite DLCs? There are two reasons and the basement with chests is only the second. The first is the opportunity to shoot all this scrap metal on an industrial scale.
“I always come back!”
Facts
I was deceived into thinking that the Psychoreaver was that one badass psycho, boy was I wrong
Was it ever explained what Psychoreaver actually was? Wasn’t he the source of the bandits insanity, or just the personification of Kriegs madness?
4:57 is my absolute favorite boss intro across the series. Bravo, you beautifully dressed, traitorous bastard.
Imagine if they added "Evil Roland" along with "Evil Lilith".
@Andrei De La Paz Lilith died in bl3 so krieg has no knowledge of it
@Conor and Emmas videos krieg doesn't know that Lilith is dead
they did
@@theultimaterich6302 "she died in bl3..."
That argument is invalid , since maya also died in bl3 , yet he know she is dead already.
The dlc all happens after the main story happens, cannonicaly.
The only reason he might not have known , would be because his coma state he could be in is somewhat recent ( like he started his coma just before the end of the main campaign , but i hardly doubt it because that would mean tannis wouldn't be able to watch over krieg with the events happening at the end).
Otherwise, he k ow lilith is dead .
@@ZelosSama I don't think krieg was ever in a comatose state and they all talk about Maya as if they'll get to see her again
I kind of wish their were more bosses and waaaaaayy more vault monsters, cause you know it was the selling lone "the hunt for vaults" or "race to the vaults" (in the main story of course)
Yeah, they only added a few.
there were so much more bosses in the base game than in bl2
@@seltrixbl2623 yeah but I was hoping for vault monsters most
The destroyer alone was a huge disappointment
We are hyped up about this guy through de Leon's history notes & the left over runes of the former eridians, said to be this apocalyptic creature that was so huge and destructive that it literally had to be held within the confines of an entire planet
And the thing was like, 3 people tall.
@@MadGameBoy apparently they're saying tyreen was only able to consuming some of it and not all of it. That the whole story of bl3 was just a set up for fighting the destroyer itself in the next one since the team wants Lilith back.
I love how katagawa ball's emote changes each time you face him

The intro piano for mouthpiece sounds so cool
I wish someone made that into a full song
Freddie the traitor has the best intro no cap
Freddy!
Psychoreaver was definitely the hardest, his fighting was easy to avoid it’s his health that is the problem, he easily has multi billions
I'd argue the Empowered Scholar. That guy was a bitch in a half to kill with the moving and having to do platforming to get all the crystals to keep him form getting full stuff. It took over ten tries to get him while Psychoreaver took four.
@@JaxonHex Imagine either of those on M10 with Zane and you will understand pain.
You missed a couple: Locomöbius and Scourge the Invincible.
Probably died in the guardian takedown and thought ah fuck it realise the video
Also general traunt
@@thomasjefferson157 General traunt doesn't have an intro, so he didn't miss.
@@stefsmurf no way I swear I remember one when playing
@@thomasjefferson157 Nope. The only boss to not get an intro.
Ruiner is one of the coolest imo
3:42 i think we all know where This is going
...And it ain't gonna be pretty, that's for sure.
i can see the fanart now
Shiv was a pretty decent first boss entrance for a bandit
4:13 imo the best boss in BL3.
Still not happy with how they did Aurelia, but it was like her to try to kill off the Jakobs family
Captain traunt is literally the mascot of icyhot
Freddie the traitor built like the villain in despicable me 3
Love how Freddie does the Jean-Claude Vandamme pose from the Volvo ad. ☺️
I feel like Dr. Benedict or the psychoreaver were the hardest tho I lean more towards Benedict because the attacks and stuff are easy to avoid but it’s the damn leeching health off of a different enemy that makes him a bullet sponge, as well as having to figure out which enemy he is leeching off of and trying to make sure you get the killing blow.
He doesnt leech off en annemy , he leeches of yours. You have to tmstrafe around to avoid the beam.
If you talk about the kind of transition he is doing , he only does it twice for loke 2 sec
But to be honest i only noticehim trying to leech mu shields , not health from the ennemies. Granted , i wioe the floor of the trash so.
Freddie had the best intro by far!
Idea
V01D: (empowered+ anointed phantasmagoria boss)
(Pending name) Shield:”constantly empowers you while equipped”
(Pending name) Grenade: “constantly anoints you while equipped”
Its cool that most of them call you vault thief but Jack still call you vaulthunter
tbf that’s not the real Jack
@@fufufuaru oh right its his doppleganger
To anyone who hasn't played B3 yet, tell me what you think one of these boss fights is like.
To everyone who has played B3, same question, but only wrong answers.
Mouthpiece is a stealth boss, y'know like MGS3's The End. Really hard to tell where he is when you fight him.
Troy’s boss fight is my favorite puzzle game
I loved how we beat the rampager in a game of noughts and crosses
Rampager and both Traunts were my favorite, and tbh the only bosses I even remember from BL3.
Mouthpiece cutscene is pretty POG
We’re s the Train boss on the last one
Why are Aurella and wainwright using grey quality weapons
Rose is actually a pretty good antagonist and is Hot lmao
The moxxi dlc boss Intros have been my favorites
tbh lilith and the ruiner had the most badass and coolest cutscenes!
“Wendigo, Juiced moose on the loose!” Nice one, and perfect rhyme!
The fact that there's Lilith makes me feel so betrayed
Who else thinks that the scrap traps are hostile because they kept the programming From claptrap's revolution
"The Agonizer 9000" and "Mouthpiece" are the only 2 cool & original looking bosses from original campaign.
Facts
I know the plot and story sucks but....graphics and shit is really awesome. So are the weapons and how they've added weapon mods on the guns, like grenade launchers and shit
mouthpiece has the best intro i think
the organ and the delivery is all very dramatic
4:58 Freddie’s boss intro has to be one of the coolest imo
Facts
Ya know Aurelia was kind of a shitty person in the pre sequel but she had a character arch that indicated she was getting to be a bit better.
Than suddenly she's a sleazy rich-witch and we shoot her face in the face.
It felt like the most out of nowhere thing... And wasted a decent character for a just alright baddie.
I got to say mouthpiece was the best boss fight, if you had surround sound and a good bass box
the most trouble i had was with giga bolt he should of bin a volt boss fight
i finally saw Zero face, there is no skin to remove his helmet in Borderlands 2
The DLCs were so much better than the main story
My favorite is Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot
Huh if only I liked this game enough to play through it again
Traunt is the best one
TRAAAAAUUUUNNNTTTT
@@sebanatic thats traunt
Traunttttt
Which tront there's like three of them
@@spv4711 sammy traunt
This game... Graphic and shooting parts is great, but story... Holy shit it's garbage
After seeing the boss intros, I just realised I've nearly finished B3 main story, damn...
Yeah pros: guns and builds dlc stories
Cons: base game story and some optimisation issues on console
imagine we would have got the maya funeral scene :/
Not really
i haven't played borderlands 3 yet, i thought my boy claptrap was somehow in danger i almost weeped like a kid
I love borderlands but I never played it
Cool video
Thanks
Okay okay hear me out
What if when you killed them, it went to a cutscene where you or a companion delivered the final blow. And then did another card like
The annointed, now very disappointed
The Graveward: Met what they ward
Kormash: Cleanly Killed
Katagawa Jr: snipped from the family tree
You forgot the psycho robot chick from Abex's story
EDIT: On a tvhm playtrhough i stand corrected. GenIVIV doesn't have an intro.
You forgot General Traunt Captin Taunt's older brother.
And uh, just to be clear...TRAUNT!!!
Yes we all hated tyreen and Troy but Freddie's intro and the subtle ahh as his pants are ripped off really made me appreciate the game again
Bounty of blood intros are fuckin amazing
Reminds me of how I killed the final boss with a m1 garand looking gun
Yeah, mouthpiece has the most badass introduction
whistles: me huh weird
runer: HA HA ME BIG STOMP
The first time i played i had immense difficulty with captin traunt, pain and terror but most of all wotan the invincible it took me 143 attempts to finally kill the damn thing.
Captain traunt and shiv are my favourite bordelands 3 bosses they are hilarious
TRAAAAAUUUUNTTTT
Boss name:Shiv
Boss context:Brought a knife to a gun fight
I fucking love Mouthpiece’s intro
Same
The ruiner was so epic
Imagine they give us one dlc where some vault hunter was trapped inside the vault realm
Mouthpiece has the best intro for me 💯
What about killavolt
Good video, I think it's only missing the cutscene for Scourge the invincible martyr.
did rose whisteling is starts to begining of Sabaton - to hell and back? or something other song from sabatons
I'm going to play every borderlands game one after another on my channel. Come join me on my journey through the borderlands!
The boss intros in Borderlands don't get enough credit imo, they're so adrenaline pumping.
Almost every boss in the dlc borderlands is either think a psycho a creature maliwan a robot or a iridium version of the vault hunters
Wait you have to fight zero? I don't wanna fight that guy do yall remember borderlands 2?
Wheres the guy that says "Bury you with rest!!!!" Lmao... please send me a link
i would love to hear the rest of mouth peices song
ME AND MY BROTHER DEFEATED WATON OR SOME SHIT
5:00 WTF
The Ruiner reminded me of a dreadnaw from pokemon lmfao
Trinston was here .
you forgot locomobius and scourge
forgot traunts brother and think a few others
even when the game is at it's worst, the intros are really damn good
Mouthpiece #1 forever
Probably someone else said this but you forgot carnivora.
0:42 for Traunt.
My favorite was Freddy
Freddie the traitor as JCVD
My favorite boss was waton the invincible
Wow I have a lot of dlc to buy
forgot a few bosses
They should have made tvhm available from the start because regular mode is just too easy in bl3 and all these bosses were just kinda jokes.
