One of the more difficult parts of a build is getting the right parts that work correctly together to achieve the goal of the build. Your parts list and where to buy them listed in the description are a huge help for anyone wanting to build one. Very generous!
Thanks for the encouragement. I agree! That’s what made me want to start doing this.
I’m your brother in Christ! Grace Community Church Sun Valley CA. Great video. I’m currently working on a really nice 66 c10, long bed, 1 owner true barn find in CA. Sold my short bed last year. I realize the SB is desired more in the C10 community but I love the great trucks that are lower in numbers. Just love the look of a slammed LB. End of the day, I love all c10’s. May the Lord keep blessing you in all you do and may you always strive to glorify Him in all you do.
Thanks so much for the kind words. Keep trucking!
Dude this was a fun video ...... at first I didn't see how the color of the wheels were going to work with the truck but once it was all together I was blown away Thanks for sharing
Glad you liked it!
Wow, nicely done!!!
Thank you
That truck is DOPE
Thanks
Boa noite congrats vai amén bom trabalho
Thank you
Always a solid job and great content! Easy to watch and enjoy!
Thanks for watching!
Love it! Keep the good stuff coming bro!!!
Thank you
Beautiful build man 👍👍
Thanks
What can I say! Beautiful!
Thank you
I have the same rear bumper on my 64 i like it
Sweet
Awesome video. Keeps me motivated on my 65 c10. Alot of what i want to do. And if you decide to start another series on a 65 stepside you welcome to do mine. 😅
Haha. Stay motivated! The winter is a perfect tint to build. That’s when I always look forward to starting my projects.
Just Awesome!
Thanks
I started following early in this build. Thanks for the complete build. Any idea how much its cost to build? Glad to learn you’re a pastor! I’ve often thought C10s would be a good outreach method.
Thanks for your support. As far as investment goes, probably 25k in parts. About 12k in the engine alone. You could do this build more budget friendly by not having all the LS add ons, the Dakota digital gauges, Snowden seat, etc but that’s really what sets it apart.
Could you provide some part numbers for the intake, fuel rails, throttle body adapter and air cleaner adapter map sensor adapter and air cleaner assembly?
Click the title to the video to see the links to almost all of the items. You can also go back and watch each individual video of the LS build. I did a four part series.
So what's the damage on that motor?
Truck looking on point 👌
Well the full swap was about 12k if you factor in everything. The engine alone maybe 7-8ish
Nice clean build. How much did you end up having in it. I’m starting to build my grandpa’s 62 c10.
Since I do the work myself not as much as others. Parts alone were around 20k.
Did you need to notch the back of the cab or the cab floor for the driveshaft?
No I didn’t.
I like all of your videos...Where can I get the recessed battery terminals?
The frame mounted battery box is from GMSS Fab.
Awesome truck 👊 3" drop spindles?
2.5 always
@@SIMPLE.C10 just doing my 79 c10 with cupped lower arms 2.5" be better you think
@@Nizzwell 3 is fine. I’ve just always went with 2.5 and that gets you where you need to be. I’ve heard 3 inch limits your wheel choice.
@@SIMPLE.C10 ok dude cheers, I have 22s at mo , stay kool
Did you run polyurethane bushings on the front end? Just picked me up a 62.
I’ve actually never changed out my front bushings. I’ve only ever changed the ball joints.
@SIMPLE.C10 thanks. I'm gonna bag my 62. I know polyurethane will make it go smooth up and down. But I hate how noisy they get. My 87 has them, and I can't get one side to stop squeaking.
sweet a$$ c10! but im curious too as to total cost and estimated hrs into the build. done alot of mods upgrades and custom work over the last 20 yrs but nothing this deep just curious
Around 25k in parts and the hours are hard to calculate but I only work on it about 8-12 hours a week so in the neighborhood of 400 hours.
What color did you paint your transit wheels?
It was a custom color I had matches from my dash. An off white.
It looks great. If you ever get a sec, can you send me the paint color tab. I'd like to get a batch made up. Also, I'll be ordering the transit wheel bore kit this week
what welder are you using?
make and model?
Hobart 210 mvp
Thank you sir!
What master is that from wilwood

Video is good but dude that music over and over is terrible I couldn’t take it
Thanks for the feedback. I used eight different songs to mix it up. Do you recommend anything to make it better for the viewer? I could use the help.
Way to ruin a classic truck. Should've left it STOCK!
Thanks for watching. I love all trucks. Send me a pic of yours.
I guarantee his classic's are rotting in a field 😂 stock
Agreed.
once its modified like that it doesn't get the attention of a Original restoration or surviving truck.
its okay though 👌
@@SIMPLE.C10 you ruint it! I hold you fully responsible!
Lol jk man I want my truck this way. I have a 61
Hate to be “that guy”…..
But did you “really “ build this for your friend? Or for views???
I named the truck after my friend Tyler Francis who passed away. I thought of him when envisioning this truck. He had already passed before I started building it so it wasn’t “for him”. When I was thinking of a community built truck it reminded me of how much he loved the community. He was one of my best friends. We served together, praised God together, and spoke a lot about life and our dreams. He would be proud of this truck. That’s all that matters.
@@SIMPLE.C10my apologies brother!!
I’ll own my previous statement
I’m sorry for your loss!!
