Cheers mate. Yeah he was lucky this time! Firstly lucky that it came down by using throttle (as would never have been able to reach it) and then lucky that it came down without getting smashed to bits.

Thanks for the comment :) The tail might not be perfect, but thats not too uncommon on these. It still flies nice and straight.
Epic flight, epic location and epic planes... I really liked the gimbal'd video showing the lead plane... Never been a fan of gimbals but in this case.. EPIC! Lol...

Cheers Dave :D I've always been undecided on the gimbal view myself which is why I fly with a fixed cam as well. Like you say, it works well when following another plane.

Thanks Raphael. I've not really noticed a difference between the lawmate and Parton Vtx's. It's hard to make a good comparison because theyre on different models with different setups. Happy with both of them though.

I have a build question for you. How to do attached the front hatch cover? Do you used the magnets that come with the kit?
Hi, I actually purchased my own magnets that were slightly stronger and used multiple of them. Just glued them in. The stock one might work ok but I just wanted to be safe
Great video. What kind of flight time are you getting from the 16000 mAh battery?
Cheers Chris. I usually get about 30-40 mins as I'm heavy on the throttle. When I had a fairly economical flight a while back it was in the air for 1h 15m. I'm confident it could stay up for 1h 30m if I tried.

Isn't that only used to locate full size aircraft?
@@AdamGdoesFPV Gliders specifically... due to them be co-located in a thermal and the risk of a mid air is very high. Flarm has been used with TBS in the past, it's on UA-cam.

I prefer 1.3g for video for sure, it's just so much more reliable and forgiving... but i still fly 5.8g. I have an AR wing which i love for proximity flying and that's on 5.8. Cheers :)

Amazing video! I am considering getting the skyhunter but I think i'll get an ar wing instead because it has removable wings. How efficient is the skyhunter?
Epicness 357 Skyhunter and AR wing are very different planes. Skyhunter can be very efficient if you want it to be. On my setup if I fly economically my 16a Lipo will keep me in the air for 1h 30m. Wings detach on the Skyhunter too. Cheers 😊

Epicness 357 yeah, 2 screws and it’s off. I remove it for transportation and storage every time 👍🏻
Huh, might get one of those as well. Probably gonna get an ar wing first because I live in an urban area so better to keep it quiet and light. Also, it is easier to launch as you can wing launch it, whilst with the skyhunter you have to have the motor running and your hand gets quite close to the prop
Personally I find the Skyhunter easier to launch than a wing. Having said that, both are easy to launch :)
For me the main difference between the SH and the AR is that the Skyhunter is great for long range and cruising around, and the AR I see as more of a close range flyer that I'd fly nice and low around the field i'm in. Which ever you get you'll have great fun it :)

You wouldn't have hit the tree if the Earth was curved. Flat Earth strikes again.
Please, just put a camera on a tripod and edit that footage in of takeoff, low speed flyby, fast flyby and landing. It would take another mediocre, fpv tech-rich video and make it a decent piece of videography. Ditch the music and dub in sound effects and crew chatter and you may approach art.
