    This will be the last of the French Terry/Sweat shirting series but keep an eye out for the wheels' return in the Summer months.

    Such an adorable outfit. The Stella Hoodie and skirt out of the stripes are so summery. Perfect to wear at your holiday home. It's nice to hear you are wearing you makes. I like them all but I especially like the stripes and the butterflies. Today was sewing class with my granddaughter, age 6. We made a really cute little purse. Towards the end she said, "you can sew that seam and I will clean the floor." She got out the lint roller and started cleaning. I made a mistake and needed to rip out a few stitches and she said, "Don't worry Grandma, there are always second chances with the Frog stitch." (rip it, rip it) she says the funniest things when we are sewing. Thanks again for sharing all your beautiful makes.

      Hi Carol. Now that is the sort of assistant I need in my sewing room! I love how she remembers the Frog Stitch, that is so adorable 🤣. We all need her attitude in the sewing room don't we. Thanks so much for your lovely kind comments, I wear the butterfly top so much but everyone notices because it's a fabric than stands out 🤣. Keep up the good work with your Granddaughter 💕 xx

    Hi Carole! If I had to choose a favorite, I'd say the Adam fabric and the Adam pattern 🤣mainly because a)it looks so cute! and b) you had to be really innovative to figure out the construction! But then that top with colorful butterflies....love that one too! I can't wait to see the wheel with a summer vibe! Good Job using every last piece of fabric from the wheel! 💖

    Hi Carole! Your Stella Hoodie/skirt outfit w/ Adam's fabric & pattern turned out very well, considering you had to guess at the seam allowance and assembly! I watched this video with bittersweet anticipation, knowing that it was the end of your Wheel of Fate series. The series has been very, very enjoyable to say the least! My favorite make was the blue/gray winged sweatshirt top. The other is the sage green sweatshirt/pants outfit. I have to admit that several of your fabrics didn't interest me very much, but what you made with them really look great and came to life with the patterns you chose! Every sewist needs a Wheel of Fate to use up that fabric that we can't recall why we purchased to begin with or where we got it. Again, thank your father on behalf of your subscribers for making that wheel for you. 🙏🏻 It's been fun. 😊 Using (mostly) indie patterns for your makes for this series was a great idea! 😘 Hugs, Dori

    • @socarole66
      @socarole66  3 місяці тому

      Thanks Dori! I will indeed pass on your thanks to my Dad. I did have fun describing to him what I wanted it for, I still don't think he gets it 😂. I am glad you liked the final makes but I think I agree with you, that blue Hug Hoodie was such a success and I love wearing it. I will certainly make another next year! I didn't deliberately use those Indie patterns, I wanted to do patterns I hadn't sewn and most of the Big4 ones I had that were suitable I had already sewn, that would have been breaking my rules! The wheel will be back don't worry. Hope all is well with the leak 🤞🏼😘💗

    Always ❤ FWoF!!! Good use of your patterns. You found a couple that may be new favorites. Nice job finding a way to keep your stash under control. You’ve given me an idea-I, also, dislike heavy hoods weighted by lining. I have one that is special because it is a vacation souvenir from Alaska, but I don’t wear it often because of the thick hood. I wonder if I could take the hood apart and either put in a lighter lining or just leave it out. I’ll have to think on that. Have a great week. 😊-Deborah

      Thank you very much, I felt it was naked without a pocket! Thanks for stopping by 🧵😊

    Fabulous makes Carole, like the mile end sweatshirt could be tempted to have a go. I am short like you did you lengthen it at all?

      Hi Cheryl, thanks so much for your comment. If I made that sweatshirt again I would definitely lengthen it a little, maybe just an inch as I feel it comes up a little too high and I notice on other peoples vlogs that it is high. Hope that helps! 🧵😊
