I still love the Lois dress and I am determined to make one. I have some viscose twill but think it might be too heavy. I love the fabric you used for the blouse. Lovely colours. I'm looking forward to The Gathering next month. xx 😁
The fabric I used was a viscose twill & it worked well, I'm now making it in a lighter cotton lawn, so I'll see how that turns out. See you at the Gathering - not long now!

Your Lois dress is beautiful! I’ve been tempted to make it but was worried about the low v, so it’s reassuring to hear it’s not too revealing. I hope the wedding version is going well.

I bought the mag on your recommendation when you shared yours on Instagram, but trying not to get too distracted by anything till after Frugal24 reveal date, lol 😜! Looking forward to meeting up at The Gathering, coming with my sister who is teaching her grandchildren 10 and 14 to sew, but she doesn’t make garments - YET 😂, Susan x

Great to see your makes, I got that magazine too a I wanted the blouse pattern. I've yet to make it so great to hear your thoughts, I have made the crossbody bag though and I love it (though I'll lengthen the strap next time) Sadly Yorkshire is a bit far from the south coast to come for the Gathering, maybe one day

Hi! I love the pogonip sweater. Very interesting fabric choice. The red dress looks very nice on you...I was looking for a nice shirtdress, can you suggest any free patterns or any patterns that you have tried and work well. Thanks.
Thank you - my favourite shirt dress pattern is the Penny dress from Seamwork, however it's not free. Mood patterns & Fabrics Store both have a couple of free shirtdress patterns that you could have a look at but I haven't made them - good luck in your search
