what's the difference between the auto and manual drive shafts?

Hope you have a pilot bearing. Also a good time to replace rear main seal. If you are using a non self centring shifter its a good time to do detent springs/pins.

We got both of those things so we will definitely do that when we’re in there.

I have found that. If the rear main seal is not leaking atleast in n54s like mine. Usually it’s not worth to replace cause they can be pretty sensitive where the placement is. Causing a bigger leak than before. Jus my two cents.
