The next time you report the vegetation encroachment, you might also mention that vegetation like this encroaches on the sidewalk forcing pedestrians into the bike lane which pushes cyclists into traffic. It's a safety hazard. I sometimes (not always) get a better response from the city if I can articulate the risks associated with the problem being reported. Thanks for the video as always. I appreciate this channel.
I find more knives than anything else in the bike lanes. Either they're slipping out of people's pockets, or they're sliding around the bed of a work truck and slipping out of bottom of the tail gate.
Oh! That's from Soma! They had a batch on a great sale because the welds were just a touch off. Even at full price, it's a good deal! www.somafabshop.com/shop/soma-rack-lucas-3-front-4817?gQT=2#attr=1481
@ChrisCollins-Oakland It's an older Velo-Orange Rando bag, which I got second hand. I'd like to it, but the ones they have now are a different design, looking more like Swift Industries bags (which are pretty sweet looking!). Maybe one day I'll show off a couple of bikes on the channel.
Thank you for your service good sir! :)

BTW, hearing you were going to prune with a found knife was good comic relief.😂

I mostly find things like fast food bags and Big Gulp cups. Found a sweet frame pump once that was later stolen off my bike.
I've found some pretty neat things, including Allen wrenches, a pretty big adjustable wrench, and an orbital sander.
What is that front rack?

@@RidingBikesinSanDiego Thanks!
I was wondering about the bag? Berthoud? @@RidingBikesinSanDiego
