Small but mighty, the Jayco Terrain provides rugged all-terrain handling with luxury amenities when you’re parked at your site. This Class B motorhome is capable of running the A/C for up to 7-8 hour on the state of the art 48V LITHIUM battery system!! Jayco’s JRide® ride and handling package makes driving this already easy-to-drive van a dream. Built on the Sprinter 4X4 Premium Mercedes-Benz® chassis, the Terrain features a dual bench seat with two seatbelts and slide and recline features, as well as a rear garage with power drop-down overhead bunk rated at 750 pounds.

Those second row seats look incredibly uncomfortable. Those electronic panels are scattered all over, kinda crazy, and where the F is the microwave??? Did I miss it?

Thanks!! I didn’t show it, but those back seats separate a few inches to give you some extra elbow room. The plethora of panels definitely took some getting used to for me, but once you understand what they are all for, it’s pretty straightforward!

The 110v power outlet in the rear is just under the water horse. IT IS VERY UNSAFE. Otherwise, it seems to be an improved version of Revel.

What is d brand of that 2nd row seats that can recline and also move apart. First time i have seen seats that slide apart. Thanks
They are built by Jayco!
Look what a huge gap between the hood and fender at :20 second mark. That's from someone pulling down on the hood while the prop rod was in place to hold the hood open. I've seen dozens of these van with a bent hinge on the pass side because of this mistake.

Love this unit, just wish it had a microwave. And some upper cabinets in the back for clothing storage would be a better usage of the vertical space since most people dont need the bed to go all the way to the ceiling.
Plus when the beds all the way to the ceiling cant really use the air conditioning.
A tv would be nice, but not a dealbreaker since probably would just use a tablet these days.
It is such a neat set up! Believe it or not, the air conditioning works very well with the bed all the way up. There is a gap that allows the airflow to move to the cabin. - Jon Link @ Apache Village RV Center
How big is that fold out table?
Not tremendously large. I’ll measure it for you when I’m back at work tomorrow! 18”x28” or so would be my guess. - Jon @ Apache

Wonder how they compare to Sportsmobile sprinters?
I know you can get a Sportsmobile with one of those cool expandable roofs, which Jayco does not offer! However, does the Sportsmobile have a 48V lithium battery system that can run an air conditioner for eight hours?

Good eye! The floorplan and chassis are identical! Outside of that they couldn’t possibly be more different. The Jayco outperforms the Revel across-the-board on standard equipment, fit and finish, and the capabilities of the Lithium technology on board. This unit is built in the Entegra plant and shares the same fit and finish of the upscale Entegra. We have our demo model priced at $142,500. - Jon @ Apache

Does the water heater and furnace run off diesel?
No, it’s electric! It’s a Hydronic heating system. - Jon @ Apache
@@apachevillagervcenter The heating system and water heating system does in fact use the diesel fuel from the main fuel tank. Notice the exhaust vent tube on the driver's side.

The floorplan and the exterior are strikingly similar, and I think the Jayco engineers would be the first to admit that. There’s only so much you can do in a small space when it comes to a foorplan. Technologically and fit and finish-wise they couldn’t be more different! The Jayco knocks it out of the park. I can send you some comparison information if you’re interested! - Jon @ Apache

I'd guess at 4 long, 4.5 wide just by looking at mine. It does hold a lot of stuff though.
In bear country best pack a portable electric bear fence. A compact 2.4 Ibs for huge peace of mind.

This is basically a Winnebago Revel , but is it cheaper ?
The technology on board and the lithium battery system beats the Revel hands-down!
Agree BUT much better quality and design IMO.
Yep, Jayco probably has a dismantled revel in their shop.
@@TheFirstMikeJones It’s a floorplan design by Winnebago that works. Jayco took that design, made it better, upgraded the fit/finish, and made it more technologically advanced across the board!

Unfortunately, we only sell them! We do not rent RV's.
IMO the Jayco Terrain looks far better than a Revel.

Where are you heading on your next camping trip? How would this Class B fit your needs??
We want a van that can allow us to use air-con on batteries and warm on chassis fuel.
It needs to be 20 feet or shorter so we can park at a ski resort parking lot. We prefer a cassette toilet because we can use it on a snowy day.
We also like to have a rooftop lounge so we can do yoga. Finding a flat surface for yoga during boondock or snow is hard.
We like the 17' van with Volta lithium batteries. My friends and I can pay cash for the RV.

Is there such thing as a luxury RV with a washer/dryer?
Absolutely! We have tons of choices of Class A coaches at the dealership that have stackable washer/dryers or combination washer/dryer units. - Jon Link @ Apache Village RV Center
If you are looking for a class b van there are some washer manufacturers that make a small unit for about $200. They only spin dry your clothes, but it's better than going to a laundromat. They are available on Amazon.

Looks exactly the same as Winebago Revel

2023 AWD?
Not full time all wheel drive, you have to shift it into four-wheel-drive. Let me know if you have any other questions! - Jon Link @ Apache Village RV Center
4x4 so not awd like the transit chassis. There is a cheaper 2x4 version called the LE.
The 2023 Sprinter is AWD but these chassis are 2022s ordered by Jayco (& Winnebago) for their 2023 production. The 2024s will be built on the 2023 Sprinters AWD & 4 cyl turbo diesels.
It’s a winner but it needed a microwave and tv. Others like that figured it out.
If your in the market for a van like this I would guess that your trying to get away from TV’s and microwave dinners.

Nice rig but, very few buy class B for more than 2 people. Soooooooooooooooooo get rid of that stupid back seat x 2 and put in a larger fridge off the floor in that space!!!
And then if they pulled those seats out, there would be people complaining on here that there aren’t any seats! 😝
@@apachevillagervcenter Stick them in the back make them foldable to accommodate the bed if you really need them. I may be wrong but I am thinking that families of four are not looking for class B. More likely looking for a class C. I obviously don't know everyone out there but most of the folks we deal with who have class B vans are just couples or singles.
@@Frank-James I hear ya. My family of four travels in them pretty often, but we don't require a ton of space.

Copied the floorplan and made it better from literally every technological perspective. 😉
