I must’ve watched hundreds of van builds. This gentleman has it down pat! Thought of everything. He is obviously very well educated in this industry. And I love how he incorporates the yachting world into his van bills. They complement each other very well

An exposed toilet directly behind the swivel captain drivers seat is really unsightly & eating over it is entirely disgusting.

No one ever wants to see an exposed toilet let alone actually eat over one.
@@yoholmes273 Admittedly, I was thinking the same. However, when he said Sam was just going to use kitty litter, I figured it was not going to be toilet for day to day use, but rather only for emergencies. If that's the case, then making it your ottoman is a good way to make it useful when not "in use".

@@cn9630. Do you do your work for free? You want good, you gotta pay or do it yourself. If you can’t do it yourself then you get some one cheap who will stop in😅 the middle of the van? I am retired now, but when I worked I did a good job for a good days pay.
You can do it yourself? GO AHEAD! Do it yourself. When you are installing electric stuff you want to have someone who knows whst their doing cause get out a million miles from no place and nothing works then you’ll be mad.
I love how George explains in detail why and how he builds specifically for his clients. He is a Master Craftsman and I would be proud to own one of his creations.

He really thinks through everything when building these. He has access to anything that he might need to fix or upgrade. I don't want to say simple for the things he does, because that doesn't sound right, but it's so well thought out with all the materials that it seems "simple" and yet very aestheticly pleasing.
It's a work of art. And knowing his background you can tell he takes that eye for video and photography and uses it in his builds.
I know nothing is perfect, but this is about as close as you can come.

I appreciate that he does his builds with maintenance and servicing in mind. I have watched so many videos and I have not heard anyone say that. Getting to those pipes and wires without having to deconstruct anything is AWESOME!

I watched many van travel videos so far, each time I was impressed by the comfort and beauty of each of them. However, without a doubt, this van built is the best and most thoughtful I've seen. It really puts in the thoughts, necessities and client's needs into one tiny van. To me, that is an impressive achievement and mastery of the builder themselves. I very much would have felt more safer and reliable on the road if I live in this guy's van. I wish to see more videos in the future too :)

Absolutely beautiful! Probably the best build I saw so far. The 1st great wow was the "hidden" shower and removable lightweight toilet. Everything after that is also a total wow!

Even after completing our own build we still love to see what he pulls out of his sleeve. It’s so cool how he hides things. We love how well thought out everything always is.
The shower and toilet design are genius! All that space is available for other activities when not taking a shower. The toilet is a foot stool or seat most of the time. The shower curtain stored behind the armoire and the drain pan extending below it solve so many problems. Love the whole approach to the windows, inside and out. Designing the build so that all systems can be accessed for repairs or changes is such a good thing.

Ditto, love the design with the swivel drivers seat. HOWEVER, one more addition for that area would be a seat for a third passenger. Get a seatbelt attachment and refigure the litter removal. Personally I love the open feeling it allows

Lovely van but having been a banner for many years, couldn't put up with that bathroom!
Wow it’s beautiful. It would be great to have a new van that you can fix. But I have a 1999 dodge van ram 3500. I have found it hard to get someone to work on it. Wish someone like you would work on it you have great ideas.

Another thing about having handles flush with cupboards, they won’t catch on your dogs collar and with danger of choking
Great tour of the van! This is the first time so far I've heard anyone creating a cardboard mock-up of the actual van built to the client's specs. It's a simple and incredibly important step of the entire process. Yes, it is time consuming work, but very effective. Thank you for sharing!

Congratulations, what a beautiful build! The woodwork and details are very special. Your thoughts regarding opening the space of the bath is ingenious. Villeroy and Boch has a wooden bench with a hidden toilet within, something that could be a great solution for the toilet so it is not seen. The adjustable bed, wow! And the attention to lighting is so important. This is a dream van.
Wow..I am 71 next month. Tired of working. Limited funds when I retire. Conserved how to live solo off grid a bit. Knowledge is powerful. For me I need to maintain comfort safety least amount of mechanical issues. This is very detailed. I love the entire set up minus microwave. I WOULD USE SPACE FOR MY SENIOR CAT. WATCHING MORE OF THESE VIDEOS HELPS. THANKS FOR THE SHARE. ENJOYED IT AND BOY I HOPE MY DREAM OF LIVING SOLO VAN LIFE COMES TRUE. OR TINY HOME.

This guy is a van GENIOUS! Seriously soo many great and new ideas that I haven't seen yet (and I watched A LOT of van videos). My favorite are the hidden shover, the bed for movie nights and hidden window coverings that aren't taking any extra space. I also appreaciate how he custom this van to fit his client's needs, it feels so indyvidual.

I am wondering if the window coverings develop stains from sitting in a trough near windows that may develop condensation. What doe the owner say?
By, George, you've outdone yourself! This is the best bathroom and shower set up I've seen in any van or RV. It was so fun to watch George remove the mirror and find the shower plumbing. Even the shower curtain is tucked in the back. Superb!

I watch a lot of van videos and this van is one of the coolest, most practical, and beautiful builds I’ve seen. I love how this builder thinks into future potentials and has accommodated them like with the way piping and electronics can be accessed for any possible repairs over time. The big surprise (in a good way!) was the drawer microwave. That is an amazing innovation.

there are so many variations to layouts for these vans. i don’t know why it matters to ppl who don’t own the van to criticize the craftsmanship of other ppl’s vans & the work that was put into it but i marvel at the fact that all of our daily life amenities can be squeezed into a van. its just a blessing. love this work.

Gorgeous, well thought out build. I'd only ask for a few more things, a slide out table from the rear, and the ability to set-up a hammock. Maybe an outdoor shower curtain and a more disguised toilet in the seating area and perhaps a swingout mirror rather than the need to remove it to access the shower faucet. Other than that, an absolute triumph!!!!
