@FreewayBrent SouthPark is a neighborhood in Charlotte that is North Carolina's hub for luxury retail (i.e. Neiman Marcus, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Tiffany, etc.). It's the equivalent of Atlanta's Buckhead, Miami's Bal Harbour, or LA's Rodeo Drive. Over the last decade, the area has gotten really dense with new condos and office towers. I have a tour of SP I filmed back in February that I still have to put together.
That video was awesome! I've thought about using "Lies" as a soundtrack, but you beat me to the punch. :) Again, awesome job, Evan, and thanks for the ride!
Excellent work with the video as usual and a great song choice :) I gotta be honest, from Exit 3 North to I-85 is one of my LEAST favorite roads to drive anywhere, left lane hog city!
@FreewayBrent Technically, you're right; it would be the busiest freeway in the state. I-85 through Charlotte handles a max of 167K vpd, so it's a tossup between the two IMO. Not many people would guess by my usual song choices for my videos, but I have an iTunes library full of almost 3,000 songs spanning from Aaliyah to ZZ Top. I was really young, but I think the first time I heard this song was when I rode with my dad down this stretch back in '95 or so.
Hey, somebody will tell me what it's called the first five seconds of music in Miami & South Beach Night Tour or I-77 Charlotte, NC (1 To Exits 11A) Please answer P.S oh and awesome videos:)
Yeah, they *really* need to widen that freeway. 169,000 vpd? Wouldn't that qualify as being the busiest freeway in North Carolina? lol, you threw me off with that song; wasn't expecting that at all from you, but it's actually one of my favorite songs from the 1980's.
@angylgyrl: Southpark? What's there? Never been to Charlotte before (but I've been to the Research Triangle, Greensboro and Winston-Salem).

CP Media I-485 should’ve go into South Carolina, and should've ran concurrent with I-85 going west.
Great video!
Lol at 1:41 there a three Honda Pilots in a row!
Excellent video. Please keep up the good work and show more of South Charlotte, including Southpark in one of your future videos.
