You just truly never know what is going on with someone, or what they’ve been through. The first thing I thought when she first came on was how smart and beautiful and together she is. Now I see how much work she had to do to get there herself. You guys are changing lives please keep going.❤

Yes! I agree! Thank you Julie, for being vulnerable & sharing your journey. I too, experienced clinical depression in my life. It scared the crap outta me actually! Fortunately I had a wonderful psychotherapist. He saved my life. God bless y'all, Dr's Hoeflingers! Shine bright!

This is sooo good! What I like most of all is:
Dr H reveals his beliefs about confidence and perception of others. The kids/young adults are teaching him about "keeping an open mind". Really listening to how his children think, behave, and how they feel.

Julie, maybe you’d consider writing a children’s book in easy story form about what you’re interested in. I’ve worked in a library for 25 years and it’s wonderful to see the juvenile eyes being opened to finding and learning about what they’re interested in. With your love of art and science and coming across so passionate, well..wow! Yes, I understand what you want to write about. Dr.H ,great family. Loved the video..

My guess is you are highly, highly intelligent. You come from a family of doctors/surgeons. You need bigger challenges, higher groups to network in and to be communicated w/differently.
Typically people with High IQ’s don’t fit in with the “average” person. You are simply just too smart whether you’ve been studied up yet or not. I think you have proven that.
Know: You can always do what you set your mind to no matter what anyone tells you.
God has a different journey for all…. If the journey was not meant for them, they won’t be able to see how you can do it or anything for that matter. God gives “You” the dream, the journey, the vision! Trust the gift that God gives you.
Fun Fact: Most people become nauseated at the thought of public speaking. Study Dale Carnegie.
You will far succeed your High School friends. Carry on and don’t look back! You’re not going that way!
    Many blessings to you!

Hi Dr. H. I've just discovered your family videos, podcasts, etc. One would think, "Oh, 2 doctors in the family, money rolling, etc, aren't they lucky. They must have the "perfect " life. Far from it. You seem like just the rest of us; watching your kids have struggles, make mistakes, etc, and struggle through the tragic death of Brian. Yet, you are so humble and down to earth. I so admire the way your family can all sit down together and discuss things in a very adult fashion. You've successfully brought 4 very special young adults into the world.I can tell by watching your face that you are very proud of all of them. I realize Brian was taken before he realized his dreams, but his legacy will live on, and through his death, he will possibly save hundreds of others from drinking and driving. Thank you for your channel. It's having a huge impact on me.

Julie, regarding your idea for a combination science art app, have you ever heard of a magazine called The Sciences (published 1961-2001)? It was a real treat every month, science issues + fine art. Great podcast once again, thank you Hoeflinger family.
